It is extremely satisfying to see the characters, I’ve been working on with my amazing team, finally come to live. Currently I’m animating our last Shot. So I am very positive we will release our new Animation short at the beginning of March. Stay tuned to find out what bewildered these two gents.

I built the facial rig for our human IK Rig. We mostly worked with MoCap. The face and the hands had to be animated manually. Had some fun fooling around with the finished rig. Yay! Our demon looks so dorky. I love it.
After fixing some issues with the mesh ligths inside the aions gears the Aion looked liked this.

Finally it’s the end of the summer semester and I survived the last deadline. Our semester movie “The Cycle” is in its last postproduction phase. This is a sneak peak on the Aion, a mystic relict, I built and rigged for our VFX short.
It is done. I proudly present “Just another Superhero Movie”. Enjoy!
Our team, that consists of dashinfresser, David Schuster and me, is working on the last bits of the new movie clip. The film poster was finished yesterday and I think it won’t be long until we share the movie clip. Stay tuned for “JASM”!

This tavern is my first try with modeling and texturing. I’m content with how the bar chairs turned out. The lighting in this scene could be better. I really wanted coloured light spots on the floor and furniture, but i think they look kinda weird. Anyway, the focus in this work lay on the modeling and texturing so I know on what I should focus next.
This might give you some impression how the character Rod from my short movie “Intoleranz” came into being. I modeled him on the basis of a model sheet I created. The hair in the second picture was a first try. I had to redo it afterwards. I think it doesn’t look so spiky anymore now. I was working on the head rig when i took the last screenshot. As you can see I gave him some textures before i rigged him. They are mostly created with mentalray materials. The T-shirt texture is still missing. The band logo on his shirt was, i don’t know why, the last step for this character.
