serious discussion now but do you think maekar ever got used to dunk's presence in his son's life and in consequence, his own?

I really can't see a moment maekar would like dunk tbh... he's haunted forever for what happened at ashf*rd and I think dunk bring it back to him, like a live proof of why he can't ever forgive himself.

in my opinion the way he treats dunk is because he wants someone to throw the blame, to take a little off of his shoulders.

Lyonel Bartheon found Ser Arlan who was in need of a place to stay and who was carrying a child. He let the old knight in his home and became affectionate with the boy who later will declare him his son!!!! he's the most protective dad ever, he also fusses a lot over his boy, even when dunk is growing up he never stops taking care of him to what dunk is weirded out like dad noooo not in front of the guests!!! Ser Arlan is always there too of course as Dunk's mentor under the Baratheon house.

ok so Lyonel bring his boy along with him to Ashford tourney, he's officially introducing his son (who's so young and already knighted!! he's that good, don't you know??) to everyone and ofc Dunk does so well!!! the incident with Aerion might or might not have happened, but if it did, Dunk comes from another background and it wasn't going to be as easy to punish him.

What matters is that he met Baelor there and the crown prince took notice of the remarkable young knight and he's like

baelor: hey do you want to go king's landing with me?

lyonel: fuck you he doesn't

baelor: but you don't speak for him lmao

lyonel: i actually do and the answer is no

anyway baelor steals lyonel's son anyways and make it abo and dunk is an omega and he marries baelor and become king consort of the seven kingdoms

ABO AU where Omega Dunk is happy he's got an alpha, he's mated and he feels safe around him and all that omega things omegas feel about their alpha BUT having pups.

is not like he's opposed to the idea, but he thinks he's still too young for that, he could do so much more before settling down and becoming a mother and only dedicate his time for that. He still wants to go on adventures with Egg, he wants to ride his horses, he wants to just be free for a while. Baelor will argue with him that it's not his role anymore, he's a mated omega and omegas don't go in adventures and he's very much against Dunk not wanting to have pups, as if it's an excuse to never have them and it won't look good if they don't show the people the proof of their love, because people will consider the King already old and weak to impregnate his omega and so on.

So that's why they argue. They love each other, but can't agree on this matter. Dunk loves Baelor but feels stuck, Baelor loves Dunk but feels he needs more discipline, understand life isn't just what we want to do.

OF COURSE at the end it'll solve because Baelor will let Dunk live his life for a while and when their first baby come it'll be happiness for both, but Dunk won't ever change himself to please Baelor, despite being an omega, he'll manage to keep being a knight, he'll still enjoy rides, he can't go on adventures but he'll live his life fully along with his pups and his alpha who realized the best way to deal with everything was not caring about what others will think of their relationship because it's only theirs.

“Stop fucking my boyfriend” the words casually left his mouth, Aerion took a sip of his beer right after, as if he didn't just confessed he knew it.

Both men stared at each other for a moment, the older one was drinking his own beer, holding the tip close to his mouth.

They laughed.

“No, seriously, just stop.” Aerion said when the laughter died down. “You have a sexy wife, your secretary would open her legs for you anytime you want, if she hadn't already. I, for more surprising that it sounds, only have him.”

“Well, I haven't been fucking Mrs. Stokeworth.” Baelor confessed, abandoning his beer, the thing tasted so bad. 

“Too old?”

Baelor shook his head. “It's not like that. She will get too attached. It's fun to watch her crush and daydreaming, but let’s leave it only to her imagination.”

“So…Duncan?”

“For starters, he's not really your boyfriend.” Baelor lifted a finger to shut Aerion before he could speak, but that didn't stop him anyway.

“Well, he will be soon.” Aerion was already gathering his things, to leave, obviously not intending to pay his part of the bill. “So, dear Uncle please, stop fooling around with him, if you don't want a scandal.”

Aerion tapped Baelor on the shoulder twice, gathered his bag and left.

If anyone noticed well, they could hear Aerion was speaking, but Baelor just heard chirp chirp chirp.

Baelor Targaryen is a renowned movie producer. His family is known for producers, actors, directors, but some of them chose different career paths like his youngest brother Maekar Targaryen, who's now the coach for the team representing the country in FIFA world cup.

Baelor rather keep his life lowkey, away from the chaos of public life. Everyone is surprised when they found out Baelor is in Essos, country that is hosting the world cup, to support Westeros' team, which his brother is the coach by the way.

They don't know Baelor isn't just supporting his brother, or the country. If people observed well, they would see the man who gives more reserved cheers, would be way more enthusiastic when the team's number 10 scored, he would look too worried when he got hurt.

All the players take their girlfriends and wives (the WAGS) to the world cup, but Dunk had no one official. He was spotted wearing a beautiful ring with a small dragon engraved in it during one of official presscon before a match and just smiled shyly saying it's his lucky charm when asked. Everyone started speculating who was the lucky woman and if he secretly brought her to cheer for him, not noticing how coach Maekar fought an eye roll because damn, his brother really made Dunk wear their family sigil for everyone to see. What a possessive freak.

Ser Arlan lives AU where they reach Ashford Meadow for the tourney and greet Baelor who takes interest in Dunk but the old man won't let him have a "moment" with his squire so Baelor enter the lists just to unhorse Arlan again and piss him off and show off to Dunk bc he's a petty prince, it's not hard to do that bc Dunk's already smitten for him and it's all Arlan's fault bc he fed the Baelor soul of chivalry agenda to him lol
