I haven't read any recent chapters but why is it a debate if Sangwoo is "trying"? Why does that matter if it seems like he's only "trying" in a way that pleases himself and not Bum. It's an odd thing to glorify.

hahahah. dude… pleases himself????? he’s been controlling his murderous feelings for a long time already! look at how happy bum is in season 3!

now observe sangwoo. is he happy throughout the chapters? he does smile sometimes but it’s not because he’s satisfied. he just wants to make sure bum is happy while still playing around here and there. he’s still practicing to know basic human feelings.

omg ah i cant stress this enough. okay. when i say he was trying his best, did you expect him to be a 100% perfectly nice straight away????????? hello~ this is a serial killer with an unstable mind we’re talking about. i said he’s TRYING ffs i didnt say “sangwoo’s nice now!” no!

he’s trying! of course he will fail at doing so sometimes but didnt you see his character development?! it’s not perfect but he’s getting there!

and about killing bum’s uncle, in my opinion sangwoo really did that for bum. i stick with my opinion. he did it for bum. he didnt do it so that he’ll feel superior or anything. he just wants bum to be happy. he expected bum to be happy that he helped bum kill his uncle. but nah. bum didnt want that. because like i said, sangwoo’s brain works different from bum’s. uuurgh!!!

look! after the uncle’s death sangwoo was obviously happy about it because he thought he did the right thing, the ultimate present to give bum that’ll make bum love him even more. but nope. what reaction did he get? “why!??!” “i didnt want to kill him!” “you’re crazy!”

…..sangwoo’s heartbroken but he didnt show it. he was able to control himself and just smiled and looked down, “..well now im not sure what i should do.”

can you see how heartbroken he is? to know that everything you did for your boyfriend is all useless after all. when he smiled like that i feel like he’s torn on the inside but he kept cool because he is still trying not to hurt bum’s feelings. which is why his words when he left doesn’t sound too offensive too.

he didnt call bum names. he didnt blame bum. all he said was “i hate that” not something like “useless ungrateful bastard. all i did was for nothing after all.”the reason he left bum alone is because he’s also on the verge of hitting bum for not appreciating his second gift. so to not hit bum, he went outside, to cool himself down or let out his anger on something else, so that he doesnt hurt bum more than whats currently going on.
