Genuinely adore how Lister shows he cares for Rimmer. My favorite example is him berating Rimmer until he says yes he will go be the new Ace, and Lister was the only one he hugged before leaving. Or when they were in Rimmer’s self deprecation world and knew that someone showing they truly care for him would work. He plays it off once they are in safety- but I know he meant that genuinely. Let’s not even get started on him dreaming of making out with him, and calling Cat and Kryton “Rimmer”.

Anyways I’m re-watching Red Dwarf.
