There are places in the system that feel familiar for reasons I can’t explain. The Forgotten Shore is one of them. It’s the rusted hulls, the salt in the air, the broken ships left exactly where the world had abandoned them.
I don’t think I have ever stood here before. At least… Not in this life. Though sometimes I wonder if our Ghosts find us because we’re meant to be somewhere, or because somewhere is meant to find us. But after all this time now, as a Guardian, I know this now.
I hardly remember the place where I first opened my eyes. But standing here… I think I recognise the feeling.
