Sarah Michelle Gellar imitating James Marsters’ walk-out is the funniest thing I’ve ever seen.
WHY IS SHE MORE SPIKE THAN SPIKE???
At least two major artists (Lady Gaga and Chappell Roan) making a point to vocally support trans people the Grammys is a big deal in this political climate.
Also I think it's worth highlighting that they are both cis women, because bigots want us to believe cis women and trans women/trans people are at odds with each other.
Lady Gaga has ALWAYS been like this and ALWAYS been in our corner.
She used to be slandered as a trans woman tricking the public back when she debuted, and her response was literally "and so what if I was? Would it be so terrible?", rather than the expected "no I'm not but I support them!" or honestly the more normal for the time "I'm not a freak, Ew.".
This was at her debut, btw, so when her star power was at its weakest. And she still stood by us completely unflinchingly.
Lady Gaga has ALWAYS been like this. I fuckin love her.
Yes thank you for bringing this up!!!
so nice you see him twice
Wow... Bad ass...
Seriously badass and awesome 💗

I love how ppl just do this sometimes to their potential ancestors. In the 25th century my descendants are gonna dive into old records and find a selfie of me, photoshop cybernetics onto me, and say I had the perfect face for being annoying about how it felt uploading my brain to the SolarNet while wearing stolen techpriest robes
op turned off reblogs but I want this forever
Shake that Ess' with Sabrina Carpenter
Remember, everyone, we still have a system in place and the Constitution still exists. We are not in a full dictatorship, yet. We can not give in to despair at every single thing this new administration does, because those checks still exist.
And until they don't - and that's a big if - we must keep our heads about us. Do not panic. Do not fall into apathy. Do not do anything irreversible.
The system will not save us, but it can protect us from the worst possible outcome for now.
And we will continue to fight seven once it can't or won't.

Let me look up the policies and names of the Democrats apparently approving these Trump nominees. I don't think it's the majority thankfully, but it only takes one or a few sadly.
Okay. They're saying seven approved the latest. And Independent too. Interesting, it looks like senators certain states banded together.
Senator Ben Ray Luján. A Democratic senator from New Mexico. Serving since 2021.
Senator Martin Heinrich. A Democratic senator also from New Mexico. Serving since 2013.
Senator Maggie Hassan. A Democratic senator from New Hampshire. Serving since 2017.
Senator Jeanne Shaheen. A Democratic senator also from New Hampshire. Serving since 2009.
Senator John Hickenlooper. A Democratic senator from Colorado. He's had his seat since 2021.
Senator Michael Bennet. A Democratic senator also from Colorado. He's had his seat since 2009.
Senator Ruben Gallego. A Democratic senator from Arizona. One of the most recent elected. Started this year.
Finally, the Independent. Senator Angus King from Maine. He's had his seat since 2013.
I don't get anyone defending these people. They did in fact side with Republicans and gave a man with little respect for how these country operates his way.
Even if Republicans didn't routinely block Democratic efforts and nominations, even if these people would have been approved anyway? You still vote no to signal dissent.
Don't let pomp and circumstance and decorum have you stuck on stupid. The other side is not operating that way. They don't care. Move accordingly.
Twenty-four Democrats broke ranks and joined Republicans to confirm former Representative Doug Collins as Secretary of Veterans Affairs.
*feels my body get anxious for no reason* what is it boy, what do you see?
Take care of yourselves everyone 💚🏳️🌈
