5. âWhat if I enjoy crying until I pass out alone at 2 am, huh?â
10. âI had a nightmare about you, and I wanted to make sure you were alright.â
You lived in the home of the Mikaelsons. You met them over two years ago just after your life fell apart. You were homeless and alone and out of Klaus kind heart that he had, he took you in.
He found you in a state of death. You were freezing, sick and dying. Immediately the siblings took you in and cared you back to health. You had always been thankful for there kind actions. As your days living in that house went on, your affections for Elijah grew. He was oblivious to it.
He was the one you went to if you were scared or felt alone and the thought of him not being there after a fight he gets into scares you. As the night went on you fell asleep but dream a horrible dream of Elijah dying in a fight that you watched with your own eyes. You couldnât stop the bad people and after his death, you felt destroyed.
You awoke suddenly and started to cry and breath hard unable to control yourself. You knew he was powerful and that he couldnât die but the thought of it hurt. You loved him and he didnât know. You never had the courage to say anything.
The dreams progressively got worse. You were up constantly until 2, 3 and even the whole night crying knowing full well he was okay, but one night he left and you didnât know if he returned. You had your usual nightmare, wake up, cry.
You slowly stood up shaking slightly as you tried to pull yourself together. You wanted to be sure Elijah was okay so your nerves would calm down, slightly. You put your robe on and open your door slowly and quietly walked out on the catwalk to Elijahâs room.
You saw a dim light coming through the small crack at the bottom of his door. You were relieved and you knew full well he was okay, but that didnât stop you from seeing him. Your face still red with tears and eyes still glistening with tears, you still kept going. You loved him. You were yearning for his attention. You stopped at his door and knocked quietly, but loud enough to be heard.
âCome in.â He said confusedly
You slowly opened the door and revealed yourself. You crossed your arms tight and walked in. He was tightening his tie and you raised your eyebrows, âWhere are you going?â You asked.
âI have business to attend.â He said lowly.
You slightly nodded your head in disappointment. âWith who?â You asked curiously.
âThe Witches.â He said finally looking up at you. His focused face turned into a worried look.
âY/N are you alright? Youâve been crying.â He said walking to you. You backed up slightly and placed your face in your palm of your hands.
âWhat if I enjoy crying until I pass out at 2 am, huh?â You asked with a broken jokingly manor lifting your face out of your palms showing more tears.
Elijah looked at your eyes and pulled you in for a hug. The only hugs that felt right were his and no one elseâs. âPlease stay home. For the sake of my sanity stay home.â You whispered, tightly holding onto him
âWhat do you mean? Whatâs wrong?â He asked
âI have been having nightmares about you,- theyâve been bad and tonightâs was horrible- and I wanted to make sure you were alright.â You said with a shaky voice.
He was quiet for a moment. He picked you up and laid you on his bed and helped you take your robe off.
âWhat are you doing?â You asked.
âFor the sake of your sanity and your sleep-â he started before taking off his jacket and tie, âI wonât go.â He finished getting into bed next to you.
You knew you would cherish this moment for a lifetime. Your worries went away and Elijah was sleeping peacefully next to you. âOh, how I wish you knew how much I love you.â You said softly.
