Izuku was entirely caught off guard by this cute pick-up line. “H-hero of your heart…?” he echoed with a squeak. His face erupted into a deep blush.

“T-that’s really touching that you think that of me…” And also ridiculously gay.

     Shoto had never been one to use pick up lines per say, especially when it came to flirting. He knew he was unnaturally bad at it, and he simply preferred to flirt in ways that were blunt to how he felt. Which oddly enough, was where this statement had come from. 

          ❝ I’m glad you find it touching, ❞ he mused quietly before taking Izuku’s hand into is own, ❝ it’s something that I think often about. ❞ Shoto finished, his forehead going to the side of Izuku’s neck to nuzzle.

Katsuki was not impressed by Shouto’s observations, even if some of them may have been true. “That still doesn’t make me a dog, dumbass!” he huffed, his voice notably going softer. “I could say you act like a cat sometimes, but I don’t because you aren’t one!” 

He noticed the inviting arms and frowned at them like he was going to reject Shouto. Though, surprisingly, not only had he moved back into reaching distance, he had decided to add to it. 

Katsuki scooted his body down on the couch just so he could lay his head in Shouto’s lap. “You’re lucky I love you,” he grumbled. 

     Shoto couldn’t help blinking at Katsuki when he heard the comparison to a cat. The statement going over, and over in his head as he processed it fully. 

          ❝ You think I’m like a cat? ❞ He questioned curiously, his out reached arms having lowered some as he spoke the question. The dual user unsure of how exactly to react to that comment. Shoto’s brain simply tried to process just how he was similar to a cat. Personally he couldn’t see the connection, but Katsuki had. 

     Before he could ask his curiosities though, Katsuki was moving back into his reach. The sight causing the dual user to make more grabby hands until Katsuki was close enough. Once the blond was settled, his hands moved to the other’s hair, and was gently running through them. Heterochromic eyes staring down at the blond fondly as he pet Katsuki’s hair.

Katsuki instinctively relaxed at Shouto’s touch. A small flush dusted over his cheeks as he looked up at his boyfriend’s face. “What do you mean, ‘softer than usual’?” he snorted. “It always feels the same.” 

Then, Shouto said something stupid. Like he often did. 

He jerked his head away from Shouto’s hand, glaring daggers at the other teen. “FOR THE LAST GODDAMN TIME, I’M NOT A DAMN DOG!” he shouted.

     Shoto couldn’t help the humored snort that he let out when Katsuki pulled away from his hand to yell at him at his joke. A reaction that was predictably expected from the Todoroki. 

          ❝ But you like head pets like a dog, ❞ Shoto pointed out, ❝ and you love when I give you attention. You have a pretty big ego, and you like to bar--- yell ---at anyone you feel that is challenging you or threaten you. You’re just the human form of a Pomeranian. ❞ Shoto gave his explanation, staring up at Katsuki like he was confused on why he was getting shouted at. His words even coming out as if he was making a valid argument with the other. 

     Though, even as he trolled his boyfriend, his arms were still reaching out towards the blond. Prompting him silently to sit back down so Shoto could continue to pet his head.

“tch… if you can handle my bite based on the last time, I should bite ya harder than I did before and see how ya can handle that!”

          ❝ Bite me harder then. It’s still not gonna stop me from petting you. ❞ Shoto shot back with the tiny blush overtaking his face at where his mind went with the suggestion that Katsuki made about biting him harder.

          ❝ You say that like you biting me is going dissuade me from petting you. You’ve bit me in the past before. I know how hard your bite is, and it’s not something I can’t handle. ❞

“Cuz you like pissing me off in any way possible?” Katsuki snorted. “I wouldn’t put it past you.”

          ❝ Yeah, but when it comes to the Pomeranian comments I would do it myself. It’s not as satisfying when it isn’t. ❞
