Another phenomenon I noticed (I went on searching and realized it isn't such a big thing (people normally make Agamemnon whiter than I remember) but I'm sure I saw more of these in the past)

What I noticed is that people tend to make Agamemnon look waaaaaay older and I know he's the older brother but damn he looks 60 smth while Menelaus looks like 30-40

People LOVE to make Agamemnon uglier bc ofc let's make the evil bastard ugly because we all know evil people can only be ugly

Actually Robin loves Arthur and monarchs!

He only hates corrupt and cruel rich people that take advantage of the working class, that’s why he’s such a fanatic of Richard Lionheart! Arthur is usually described as a kind King that sees everyone as equal and he’s a symbol of Britain so Robin ADORES him

Now that I think about it Robin would most likely like Dolly Parton too

Well….yesn’t? Because the whole Richard the Lionheart/‘waiting for a Good King to come back and overthrow the Evil Regent’ thing is a much later addition to the mythos to make the story more palatable for the rich people who were funding The Arts, so people could put on Robin Hood plays. It was very deliberately added to the story as a way of making it less radical, which is ultimately what led to its survival.

But (my personal beef with Richard I aside) I kinda feel like the fact that they had to go in and add “Robin hates the rich and the ruling class EXCEPT FOR THE GOOD RICH PEOPLE AND RULING CLASS TM WHO HE ACTUALLY LOVES!!!” is kind of an indicator to me that the last caveat did not used to be there, yk?

That being said, if he was gonna pick a king that he didn’t hate, I do agree that it would probably be Arthur
