Today has been... odd.

Two friends messaged me today when I haven't talked to either in weeks, the first calling me for an hour and generally having a great time and the other having a longer text conversation than I've ever had for them and getting invited for video games later this week.

I found three (non major, rather small) things I have been missing all in the same spot but at different times. I stand up from the sofa and right where I've been sitting I find: a pin push thing used to pop out my phones sim slot I lost when I got the phone months ago, an earbud squishy thingy I don't know the name of I lose yesterday, and the broken piece of zipper from a school bag I haven't used in literal months.

I also started a thing I have been procrastinating and found there may be a quicker, easier, and cheaper way of doing it.

So yeah. I... don't know what there is to learn from this but life just got odd. I'll let you know if I figure out what terrible life thing is about to happen that lady luck finds the need to give me lots of little happy moments to make up for.

I remember reading an article about Koch Industries that said they just budget in fines for violating environmental regulations and lawsuit settlements for damage and accidents caused by broken pipelines -- it’s cheaper than installing cleaner, safer equipment.
