Perceptions & Adherence to HCs & Canons:
I write according to my own perceptions of Rise of the Guardians and the world at large. They might not match yours.
Additionally, I don't write with 100% adherence to the Guardians of Childhood book series, because a) I don't care that much for it and b) you could not convince me that it's canon to the movie given that the characters are all very different to what they are in Rise of the Guardians.
There are some things which I might draw on from the books - like Pitch being formerly known as Kozmotis - or the Rufftoon comics - like Pitch not wearing just some skimpy, flat-ass robe for his entire existence as a spirit -, or maybe the FrogsForTea ones - I'm thinking of that "Fear the Chef" drawing -, but only if and when I feel like it adds rather than takes away from the character(s) of the movie.
Obviously, I don't own Pitch Black or other Rise of the Guardians characters. If I did, Pitch would canonically have a cat for a pet and he wouldn't be possessed (iykyk). Which he won't be in my scenarios and headcanons, anyway. Autonomous choices allow for more nuanced characterisation and more satisfying developments. Possession is boring, kids.
Also, cussing might make its way into headcanons and some scenarios... but some characters won't swear much, if at all, whilst others will swear like sailors. So, yeah, uh... watch out for that.
Things I Don't Write (SFW Edition):
I won't write about minors in a main character capacity, because I just don't care for it. Any character that is canonically a minor will have to be aged up even in perfectly sfw, platonic scenarios. Any character who remains a minor will only feature in a very minor way. Flashbacks to character's childhoods in scenarios, hcs, multi-chapter stories are fine, but they won't be extensive.
Pregnancy. Shortly-after-birth is kinda' fine if it's part of couple head-canons, but I won't go into detail on anything, because pregnancies squick me out.
Certain ships - I'll have separates posts on that. I will tag them, though. Don't push them on me. Also, this is not to offend anyone, but for my comfort and health, I do block out certain tags including ship tags, but also certain accounts that are actively invested in certain ships. This is nothing against those accounts as people.
Sandman as a cinnamon-roll. Or as a main character/possible match up. He just makes me deeply uncomfortable. No, I'm not mixing up Mr. Tall, Dark & Lanky. If you don't think Sandy has a mean-streak, I'm probably the wrong writer to ask for content involving him anyway.
North as a main character. I won't write head-canons/scenarios specifically about him. Maybe about his perceptions of certain people, but not him specifically.
Romantic/spicy ships between characters that are not (at the point of shipping) 18+.
Characters outside of the Rise of the Guardians-verse, unless it's as part of a crossover. (I wouldn't write for characters from The Hunchback of Notre Dame for instance, unless I were to do a crossover between RotG and tHoND.)
On NSFW Stuff:
I'm not opposed to NSFW, but such content will be tagged. Also, there will be separate rules/guidelines posted for NSFW asks and content at some point, which will be tagged appropriately. Do read that before asking for such things. NSFW content is strictly 18+ though, so I would recommend anyone who isn't comfortable or 18+ to filter out "nsfw" as a tag.
You won't be seeing any 18+ images/videos on this account. I don't care for most of them anyway, avoid them, and I'm pretty sure they're not allowed here.
I don't really write gore, but if violence was included in a scenario or a story, then it'd be tagged.
Innuendos/euphemisms get their own tag(s), separate from "nsfw". Feel free to filter out posts with them by filtering out the "innuendo" tag.
To block accounts, go into "blog settings" by clicking an account of yours. To filter out tags, go into "settings", which (at least on PC) should appear on the left hand side, there you should see "Filtered Tags".
Other:
I am an adult, and whilst I'm fine with minors perusing through my post(s) (as long as they filter out the "nsfw" tag), I am not fine with being contacted privately by anyone under eighteen. Feel free to re-blog, like, or look at my sfw stuff, but please don't interact with me as a minor beyond that. I'm not comfortable with it, and also, I know what it's like looking back at your teen interactions as an adult and being like "yeaaaaah, I'm seriously hecking lucky nothing bad happened there".
