honestly johnathan is such a good narrator/protagonist. so often in lit thereās a degree to which you have to suspend disbelief not only for plot but also for charactersā actions, and i think writers (including myself) can take this for granted. but good ol johnny boy reacts very realistically to his environment and doesnāt do wacky shit thatās uncalled for āfor the plotā. digesting dracula in chronological order bc of dracula daily really emphasizes this, i think. his anxieties, thoughts, and actions all make sense, and allow the reader to walk alongside him better :)
