If I'm being honest, I think all anime characters should have the same traits as elderly characters One of my main problems with modern day anime is the sheer lack of character within the face, everything just looks the same I mean, you could tell that there's personality in the older anime characters, you can just look at them and almost get a grasp of what their character is like

Look at all the beautiful personality in the faces alone! But my main problem with modern anime is how every single character has the same face

in modern anime, you can hardly tell the characters apart from how similar their faces are

Old people in anime have such personality that you can draw from their faces just by looking at them, which is unfortunately not shared with younger characters Of course, there are acceptions to this rule but as a whole anime just seems to be so lifeless now and lacks artistic merit
