Jason Todd, with Bruce Wayne’s stolen credit card, already paying for 6 college students’ textbooks: sounds low. Hey, you, let me buy your books-
y’all I’m a junior in high school, I didn’t actually do the math or look up the prices bc who’s got time for that when there’s existential despair
The Batfamily in late comics: a summary
One of my absolute favorite things about Young Justice is the mind link. Seriously, just imagine all of the crazy stuff the team can do when they can actually read each other’s minds during a mission:
- Infinite Rickrolls - Wally making an obvious effort to not call Robin “Dick” when they’re linked and getting really frustrated - Being spoiled about Christmas presents and surprise parties - When one member gets hurt everyone feels it - Dick and Wally trying to see how loud they can scream in their minds until Kaldur starts yelling at them - Something blows up and everyone simultaneously goes “same" - Everyone cringing when Conner and M'gann have really loud dirty thoughts about each other - Hearing Kaldur mentally sigh at least fifteen times a mission - When one person has a song stuck in their head, everyone gets the song in their head - This of course leads to the entire team becoming a silent choir as they all mentally belt out Let It Go together while beating up bad guys - When Raquel first joined, they learned that ”??????“ makes an actual sound in ones head - Zatanna thinking backwards and giving everyone a headache - They even linked up Wolf once just to see what it was like and they heard weird stuff like “Boy? Boy is bird?? He is puppy??? Need cuddles??? Must protect!!!” “Superboy!💗💗💗💗 Human! Best human! Best human in whole world!” “I good boy?? Treats????” “BANE BAD. KILL BANE. HE HURT BABIES?!?!?! BITE. BITE. BITE!!! I TREATS??? I DID GOOD??????” It was definitely a learning experience about how dogs work, and they also learned about how Wolf sees Robin as a small puppy in need of protection, so that was fun to tease him about. - Conner screams even in his mind - There is no privacy whatsoever, so that’s how the team learned things about each other that they will definitely regret knowing - Artemis and Wally flirting all the time just to make everyone uncomfortable - Falling asleep on stakeouts leads to seeing each other’s dreams and even interacting in them - Once Wally had a nightmare about his father and everyone saw it, though Wally had no idea and was confused when they spent the rest of the week being really nice to him - On really traumatic missions, sometimes one member will get flashbacks and all of them see it too - Dick singing Bohemian Rhapsody for five hours straight - The team learning that M'gann curses like a sailor in her head - Kaldur mentally goes “WTF” so many times they lost count - Silently judging everyone together
I just really love the mind link concept okay?
dick lets his little brothers swear because there’s nothing funnier than hearing a ten-year-old say “motherfucker”
In your headcanon what are the batfam strangely good at? like completely useless or random things that they are just super darn good at for some reason
Alfred: Can stack/balance absolutely anything without it falling over, even things with shapes that should be unstackable.
Bruce: Always knows exactly what time it is, to the minute, without checking his watch. Always knows how many of something there is.
Dick: Amazing spacial awareness. Can estimate distances and depths with scary accuracy. Always knows exactly what items are in every room and exactly how they are placed.
Barbara: Makes perfect coffee and tea. Says she just follows the instructions on the packaging, but it turns out better than everybody else’s? Canonically has an eidetic memory and therefore can quote any piece of media she’s ever consumed flawlessly.
Jason: Really, really nice singing voice.
Tim: Can fall asleep in any position in under five minutes. Picks what turns out to be the shortest line/route every time, even when it’s counterintuitive.
Cass: Incredibly good at distinguishing between shades of colors.
Stephanie: Can whistle so loudly that people can hear her neighborhoods away. Has specific whistles for everyone important in her life. Uses them to summon those people when she can’t find them.
Damian: Draws perfect circles
Duke: Folds clothing flawlessly, casually, without looking while he does it. Tosses it behind him and it lands without wrinkling at all. One of those people who can throw small objects with alarming accuracy.

Bold of you to assume Bruce doesn’t know & approve.
Valid, valid
If we’re adding to this, I propose: Jason also funds and donates large amounts of cash money to whichever gossip magazines and websites just straight up hate Bruce Wayne the most and talk the most shit. Bruce only knows about the textbook buying and such so it’s basically just
Bruce: Hey, I know what you did and I literally don’t care. You know I enjoy helping people out. I actually fully approve
Jason, taking Bruce’s new credit card out of his wallet right in front of him: fantastic
Young Justice Batfamily + Onion Headlines
i love my trash can son
Some gems I found in Tim’s monologue from the Red Robin series.
Tim is such a dork.
Wait you forgot one of my favorites.
After he jumps to hasty conclusions and freaks out:
I felt the need to add to this.
I feel Tim on a deep emotionnal level
The superbabies
Do you ever just think about how much Tim genuinely admires Dick and Jason because I do, a lot
Like, he literally put all of his faith into Batman and Robin, because he had no one else. He idolized them so much and put in so much effort to be Robin, and wasn’t exactly treated great by Bruce in the beginning. He always gets the short end of the stick, and he’s lost so many people, but he still works to make things right for other people and for a city that has always been cruel. I just...love Tim Drake’s character a lot
Duke ft bright colors
Kon walks up to Tim one day while the other is busy with a case and typing away at his laptop, his brow furrowed with concentration.
“So. I’ve been thinking.”
Tim raises an eyebrow at Kon’s voice, waiting on him to continue.
“Having Batman as a dad and all Robins as brothers must be weird. Do you guys ever, like...do dad and son things? Or brotherly things?” Kon wonders aloud.
“Like what?” Tim asks.
Kon chews his lip as he thinks. “Like, I dunno, fishing. Or playing catch.”
Tim pauses his typing. “We play catch sometimes,” he says, very seriously.
Kon blinks. “Really? Wow, that’s-”
“Catch these hands.”
And thus began Kon’s ongoing and nonstop stressing about what the hell is actually happening in the Wayne household.
Presenting ~The Damian Wayne Guide to Surviving Grayson Hugs ~
Jaime would probably be the sane one, because let’s face it, deep down, Cassie is a bit clumsy, Tim is a meme lord, Bart has no focus and Kon can’t read the mood. I mean, that’s what I headcanon. Jaime would be the level headed and somtime, when he becomes the rash one, all the core 4 step up.
