When Geralt brought Jaskier to Kaer Morhen for the first time to spend the winter, the bard braced himself for an awkward introduction to Geralt’s brothers.

However, on his very first night, he was startled awake by Geralt—who, without a word, scooped him up and carried him to the main hall.

As Jaskier quickly discovered, Geralt and the other witchers were thoroughly drunk. Now, he found himself perched on Geralt’s lap as the witcher—slurring, grinning, and utterly intoxicated—proudly showed off *his* bard to the others.

The other witchers at Kaer Morhen have always grown tired of Geralt's random moodswings and bouts of gloom and grumpiness during the winter. He'd be happy and carefree, safe in his home, and then some dark thought would crest in his mind, and for a few days straight, he'd be in a horrible mood. When one year he brings his bard with him, they realize the moodswings have disappeared completely. That is, until Jaskier starts trying to "bond" with them all and spends less time with Geralt. Then all of a sudden the snarls and snaps from Geralt are back. One day, Lambert gets tired of Geralt's sass, and shoves Jaskier at him, and they're all amazed when Geralt loses his bad mood and instead chooses to carry his bard off to cuddle in front of the fireplace. Nuzzling him and purring the whole time. Thus commences a new rule of Kaer Morhen. If you spot Geralt being pissy, you chuck the bard at him. Jaskier has been taken away from a meal, a game of gwent, his chores, his bed while asleep, and one especially embarrassing time he was taken from a bath. Jaskier is quite alright with the new rule, as it always ends in deligthtful Geralt cuddles, but sometimes he wishes Geralt would just find Jaskier instead of moping when he misses him.

kknr au where Naruto really really wants to put something of his on kakashi permanently but doesn’t think he’d be allowed to if he just asked.

So instead he does the Obvious Thing and becomes a seal master and designs a seal that lets kakashi control turning his sharingan on and off at will to avoid the chakra drain. Surly nothing else would be so obviously useful to kakashi that he wouldn’t dare refuse Naruto’s offer to tattoo it on him!

Meanwhile, kakashi has full chakra reserves for the first time in a LONG time due to the seal and experiences actual Desire. All because of Naruto :)

Also consider that Kakashi, having dealt with the constant chakra drain for over a decade, having forced his coils to supply him with enough chakra despite that drain to perform lots of consecutive high-level jutsu when he needs to, once it's not there?

Guess who suddenly has more chakra at his disposal than Hoshigaki "the tailless tailed beast" Kisame?

And you know where our precious scarecrow boi is putting those new chakra points he suddenly has access to? Stamina.
