The shear vulnerability and emotion that was in that line. I think it says a lot about where he is mentally and how he’s maybe scared about who he is and maybe he’s not as good of a person that Steve believed he was. I think this line shows that Bucky does hold Sam in high regard, even if he does find him annoying and they but heads. Bucky respects Sam.

The choice to give up the shield was 100% Sam’s and it’s understandable that he did because he didn’t feel like it was his, he didn’t think he was good enough. While we all know that Sam is good enough to have the shield and be Captain America - and deserves it - he needs to get there on his own. I don’t think Bucky understands this or the reasons why Sam would want to give it up when Steve gave it to him.

These two need to sit down and have a civil conversation without getting annoyed at each other and I’m unsure if they’ll do that but I do hope that over the course of the series that they start to understand each other more.

How to properly listen to a musical soundtrack:

Step 1: be in a place you can listen to it all at once. This usually takes 45 min to 2.5 hrs depending on the musical.

Step 2: skim the song titles before you start. If you see anything with “(reprise)” after it in act two, bring tissues.

Thats it.

If you’re unsure about any of the steps, tissues is usually a good plan.

Look at under his hand in the begining of the gif, it looks like a drop of blood. And his hand is shaking before he straps it, theres a hint of hesitation. UhOH.

best guess? his arm is broken here. 

The way his arm spasms after tightening the strap? the way he’s shaking? the weird lack of grip his left hand has? 

His arm is badly damaged, and this is him strapping the shield on tighter as a brace so he can keep fighting.
