I am just a girl working towards positive and better things for myself, doing this through my own forms of therapy. My writing, reading, photography, meditation (learning to do so) and listening to myself. Working towards health of my spirit,mind and body through my culture and traditions. Learning to live and love life. I'll get there. : ) Hockey and football/soccer are love and soon to be baseball again. Giant obsessive Vancouver Canucks fan with a soft spot for the Washington Capitals and Ovi. Real Madrid is my football team and the Vancouver Whitecaps will be my soccer team...see what I did there? Toronto Blue Jays are who I support but I'll be honest I learnt a lot of the game through the San Francisco Giants during the world series, I'm a new fan to baseball. Saskatchewan Roughriders are also pretty cool. I love everything to do with the paranormal and unexplained happenings in our world. I am forever curious about our universe and all it holds. I have an obsession with the early 1900's through to the Great Depression. I don't know why this is, I just do. Buster Keaton, The Marx Brothers and Charlie Chaplin are turning into my gods. Well Chaplin has been since I first saw his films as a nine year old. But I am happy to welcome Keaton and the Marx bros to the fold. ps. Depression and Anxiety is like radiation. There’s always a little bit of it in the background but not enough to kill you. Then once in a while you get a free trip to Chernobyl.
i feel like i need to explain this. You shouldn’t apologize to other people by insulting yourself. “I’m so sorry, i’m so stupid i suck” is not an apology. It’s a guilt trip. You make the person stop focusing on why they’re hurt and focus on helping you instead. An apology combined with self deprecation is not an apology and never will be thank you for coming to my ted talk
