Can I ask about the shark kick comic Sorry I don’t understand why denji didn’t get her period? Why is it sad

Usually when someone is malnourished, their period comes later / is infrequent.

This, coupled with the fact that Denji never went to school and periods are rarely talked about outside of an educational environment, means that Denji both probably doesn't know what a period is, and has never gotten one, despite being 16 (usually starts around 11 - 13)
