I.... Actually think paralives is pretty ugly, artstyle-wise, so I'll wait and see what sorts of modding comes about for it first before I really consider getting it.

.... I want to texture.
the miracle of just copying and pasting some alpha strands
Started going through my makeup folder to resize egregiously big textures and..... holy god. This'll take me a million billion years.
... Anyone else have a Radeon 6700XT and have trouble with flickering meshes in-game? I know that's an issue with the 6700XT in blender but it's way more annoying when I'm actually trying to play ts2.
mmmmmkay! that's enough for one night. I'll pick back up eventually lol
Alright! Back to the teeth debacle.
observation #1: importing my two .objs into milkshape fuses them so they cannot be worked on separately.
Wonder if that's a me being unlucky thing, or if that's just how milkshape is. Groups, perhaps?
I'll just make two different meshes for now. If this is the route I end up having to take, I'll make the Tops and Bottoms layerable with one another.
Then later I'll try editing one, importing the other after that's done, and seeing if that changes things.
okay there we go. Option 2 was our winner

ah, 'Not actually showing up in-game', my old enemy.
a VERY interesting thing I've just come across:
Renaming your Downloads folder as "- Downloads" (and I assume other variants thereof), loads your Build/Buy CC in-game, but NOT any Clothing/Hair/Makeup/etc in BodyShop.
Your Defaults will be loaded in BodyShop, but none of your other BodyShop CC will unless it is in your SavedSims folder.
This could be a byproduct of me using simlinking to keep my The Sims folder on a different drive, but either way it's very neat.
.... MAN, CC-free TS2 loads so quick.
I mean, considering how much CC I have, my game does load pretty quick still. But CC-Free is like BAM, insta-load.
alright wish me luck!
"Cannot find TS4 path. Please configure," sayeth my S4Studio.
"No, I don't think I will," I reply, because I'm not so silly as to actually have any install of that memory-leaking, profit-based nightmare game.
yes..... Yes......... YES!!!!! FINALLY!!!!!! I DID IT!!!!
still needs some more editing but SoonTM.........................
There's always a solid chance I have JP CC, and I love being able to re-up it for ppl.
