This is so cute! But remember that Ladino isn't *the* Sephardic language, like how Yiddish is *the* Ashkenazi language-it's just *a* Sephardic language.

as promised here’s the second drawing in the series i’m doing of jewish characters in alternative style! i was going for a tradgoth style here but it ended up a little more romantic vampire ish. sorry i cannot resist color. i specifically referenced photos of traditional tunisian jewish jewelry and clothing here and i gave her a pomegranate sudra!

like with previous, she needs a name, so feel free to suggest one!

knitting a scarf! pattern is Thekla Scarf by Marianne Nørbo. it’s free on hobbii’s website. yarn is merino wool that i got in iceland, can’t remember the brand but it was an icelandic brand.

may i offer you some queer jews with big noses in these trying times?

ok hi this is me trying to post my art on the internet which i havent done in a few years . i always felt like there was such a lack of representation for jews in art and especially queer jews so i decided im gonna start drawing lots of queer jews! i love jewish features i think we deserve to see the features we get harassed for portrayed as beautiful. i love drawing big noses and curly hair!!!!!!!!!

these are just random characters i drew but maybe ill give them names and draw them again who knows. okay i hope you enjoy them i get really nervous but maybe ill start a new art blog at some point...
