I have half a thought about Mavis trusting their whole weight to the others when they lean on them. It’s not like they’ll be too heavy. And they’re all more than strong enough to take it.

Meanwhile the NXX crew are losing their minds both at their proximity but the trust because if they moved mavis would for sure fall.

Okay so, the thing about Mavis leaning on people is that they are concerningly light on account of the bird bones. A literal feather weight

For the longest time the NXX crew doesn’t even realize that Mavis is putting their whole weight on them because they are so light with the sole exception of Luke who has actually picked them up before and knows for a fact they are That Light

Which means he’s probably the one that spills the beans that sets of the chain reaction of the NXX crew going insane about both Mavis trusting them so implicitly but also why the fuck are they that light? Luke. Luke. Why do they weigh so little?

(Mavis meanwhile has no clue any of this is going on and even if the NXX crew did let them fall, they’d literally float to the ground. It’s a non issue to them)

Marius is very vindicated when the demigod reveal happens and he learns that the reason he was going insane trying to paint a portrait of Mavis was because demigods are Weird in a way that makes them just that little bit Off in a way that is impossible to capture

Note that he will not stop trying to paint them nor will he stop being pissed when it doesn’t come out right, but he still feels vindicated

Mavis leans on people and makes them read to them constantly

Luke, as Mavis’s partner at the NSB, has gotten (mostly) used to it over the years due to the frequency at which it happens

The rest of NXX has to get used to Mavis floating over and leaning against them and looking up and batting their eyes while asking “pretty please read this to me?” Which ways so easy to deal with when romantic feelings get involved I’m sure. The NXX squad gets a reward for being So Normal about their dyslexic crush asking them to read for them

I really love your writing! I'm not into Love and Deepspace or Obey Me!, but I was interested enough by Crossroad's Gift that I decided to give them a try, and I don't regret it! All your traumatized children are really fun to read about, both on Ao3 and here!

You can skip/ignore this part/ask if you want, but I've noticed you tend to mix up a few words? Specifically loose/lose and peace/piece, though your writing's still really good even with this! It doesn't take away from my enjoyment of your ride at all, it's just something that I wanted to point out in case you wanted to do something about it. If not, feel completely free to ignore this ask.

I actually write faster than my laptop can keep up with most of the time so autocorrect gets a bit wonky and such

I try to catch them when I can but given that I don’t have a beta reader nor do I strongly edit my works, they tend to slip through

Floyd x Yuu. I can do that

Yuu is concerning chill with a lot of Floyd’s nonsense

Actually, not only are they chill. They’re an enabler. Which is scary considering exactly what Yuu is capable of with their magic

Floyd is very susceptible to the scent Yuu gives off and has bitten them. A lot. To the point of blood

This concerns all of their friends but not them

Floyd is very good at bringing out the life in Yuu through his various shenanigans meanwhile Yuu is good at being a touchstone for Floyd during his mood swings

Yuu is Floyd’s go to taste tester for any of his new inventions because they will eat just about anything

Floyd LOVES play fighting, so Yuu does it even though they think it’s a waste of energy

Floyd loves poking and prodding at Yuu’s oddness. Their freckles, their stars, their hair, he even once tried to poke their eyes. He just finds how weird they are so endlessly fascinating

And that’s not even counting the less physical stuff like their magic and the vibe they give off

Overall, everyone is high key scared of whatever is going on over there but the two of them are happy
