When I’m a parent I’m gonna be honest if idk the answer to something when my kid asks 100s of questions.
I grew up believing everyone knew everything, and that you were stupid if you didn’t know something... all because half the time adults would just lie to me when I asked something rather than being honest and say that they weren’t sure. Also bc “no questions are stupid” stops being applicable when you humiliate a child for asking something. I also ended up growing up with loads of misinformation, and feeling more humiliated when I got something wrong from that.
You don’t have to prove your the smartest person in the world to kids, if you don’t know something be honest, or maybe research it together.
