A.N. Day 10 snippet from the event "January Jumble Scribbles", organized by @societynsoelsscribbles.
It was supposed to be a Nick Fowler snippet, but it turned out to be a Billy Russo one, my other beloved psycho. I'm not so proud of this, plus I haven't watched The Punisher for years, so forgive me if I didn't give to Billy the right justice!

JANUARY JUMBLE SCRIBBLES MASTERLIST
Loving a man like Billy Russo was like playing at the Russian roulette.
On some nights, he was caring, passionate, not pushing too much your boundaries; on the other nights, instead, he was quiet and mysterious, his brown eyes never boring into yours as his touch became colder and distant.
He was a man that carried more riddles than certainties, that one day he would give you the moon and the other day he would be so absorbed in his thoughts his walls would raise up, unable to let you in.
You learned not to ask too much, not to inquire: it would be simply worthless. However, a crack in his well-built wall appeared when you least expected it.
You were safely tugged in your bed when you heard one of your windows break. You barely had time to rise before a shadow slipped through the opening: Billy stood there among the broken glass, breath uneven, eyes dark with a vulnerability you couldn't describe. His face was beaten up with purple bruises and trails of blood, his confident smirk replaced with a tired gruff.
You ran towards him as you saw him hissing. "Billy! Oh my God, what happened to you?"
Billy didn't let you finish; instead, he crushed his lips straight into yours, melting into a kiss that made you feel dizzy. The taste of blood lingered between you, metallic and wrong, and it snapped you back to the reality of him standing there, broken and bleeding.
"Stop, Billy," you faintly protested, his lips hovering yours, "you're hurt-"
"Oh, darling. I never disrobe before a gunfight," he murmured with a sinister chuckle, his words so puzzling yet so eager to confess something.
You opened your mouth to retort, but Billy's lips hovered over yours, pushing you in your bed. His hand squeezed your hips, his touch growing urgent as his forehead rested on yours. "It's okay. I got you," he murmured against your ear, his warm voice let you shiver as he devoured you, your mind so clouded by pleasure you were unable to think.
And once again, you failed to ask about his wounds and his puzzled words. Because Billy would never pull you into a world made of violence, coercion and power.
For you being the purest thing he could ever touch.

Pairing: Dean Winchester x F! Reader
Warnings: Love confessions, fluffy bunnies and unicorns, SMUT (18+ PLEASE! Or I’m telling), fingering, protected sex, couple of swear words, I think
Word Count: 5.1K-ish (little on the longer side)
Summary: You’ve been in love with Dean since you met him and tonight you’ve lured him out of the bunker under the ruse that your Jeep has broken down. You’re hoping with the Orionids Meteor Shower as your backdrop that you’ll finally have the courage to finally tell him how you feel or will you chicken out?
A/N: Happy 2026 my lovelies! 2025 was a rough year for writing for me but I hope to get back to it. Thank you as always to my darling @bartonsparrow25 for beta reading this one. I appreciate you to the moon and back! 💙
As always, thank you for reading! I appreciate it so much and comments, reblogs are welcome and encouraged. Don’t be shy to tell me your favorite part. 💕💕 💕
The late October sky was clear and cloudless. The little white pinpricks were abundant against the gradient of the black to navy backdrop. Floating over you, the pale crescent moon glowed like a silvery claw against the night sky and as you kept your eyes on the road straight ahead, you couldn’t help but briefly glance up at the twinkling stars above.
It really was the perfect night for stargazing and there was only one person you wanted to share it with…Dean Winchester.
He worried about you. He’d never admit it but whenever you were out on a hunt without him or Sam he worried about you which you thought was sweet. You promised him you would be back soon but he had no idea about your plan. The plan to get him out there alone, under the stars, and finally tell him how you really feel about him.
**********
Dean Winchester was a friend, a good friend. You grew up the same way he and his brother, Sam, did. You and your father drove around from town to town hunting monsters and saving people from those monsters but surprisingly, you didn’t meet him on a hunt. It was in the parking lot of a gas station. Dean was gassing up Baby and your father was trying to figure out what was going on with his Jeep when he wandered over and asked “What seems to be the problem?”
His voice was deep, gravelly, and rumbled in his chest when he spoke. His faded green eyes and splash of freckles across his nose were standout features of his incredibly handsome face and you found yourself absentmindedly biting down on your lower lip while you tried to not get caught staring at him. Dean very generously helped your father get the Jeep started again and then of course your father had to talk to Dean about the Impala, which is when he found out that the boys were also hunters.
“Father/daughter team, huh? I’m Dean…Dean Winchester and this is my brother, Sam.” He said.
Your father formally introduced himself and then introduced you to the brothers.
“…And this is my daughter, y/n.” He said.
Shaking their hands, you replied nervously, “It’s nice to meet you guys. We’ve heard stories about the famous Winchester brothers.”
Mortified, you couldn’t believe you actually said that out loud but again, you were nervous.
As a thank you, your father invited them to have lunch with you and after exchanging numbers, as they drove away, your father turned to you and said, “That was nice of Dean to help get the Jeep runnin’ again. If they ever need our help on a hunt or otherwise, we’ll return the favor.”
No other man had ever given you butterflies in your stomach or caused a rush of warmth to rise to your cheeks so quickly that you barely had enough time to hide them so he didn’t see. You just smiled and nodded but after that day, you knew that you would never find anyone you loved more than Dean Winchester.
The Jeep Wrangler that Dean helped your father fix that day was the Jeep you were driving now. It was yours now that your father had passed away. From a young age, it was always known to you that hunters usually don’t live to see old age and your father was no exception.
You tried, but you just couldn’t find that witch’s hex bag fast enough to save him. And as you stood in front of that pyre, watching the best man you’ve ever known become a pile of ashes, Dean gently put his arm around you, pulled you in close, and whispered, “It wasn’t your fault, sweetheart.”
You wanted to believe his words but the truth was that if you had found the hex bag one minute earlier, your father would still be alive.
“One minute, Dean. If I had found it one minute earlier, he would still be alive. Now I have no one!” You had said with tear-stained cheeks.
He shook his head slowly.
“That’s not true.” Replied Dean. “I know you grew up like we did. We were always on the road, never having a place to call home until now. The bunker is warm, we have a kitchen, and you’d have us. What do ya say?”
There really wasn’t a lot you could say to argue against that. You didn’t have a home or a family so it sounded nice to have a sense of both however non-traditional it would be.
“I’d love that.” You had replied.
And you have been living with the brothers ever since but some days were more difficult than others. It was hard hunting without your father while also trying to keep your feelings for Dean a secret. Every time he gave you a hug or a quick kiss on the forehead, it just made you fall harder for him.
But then there were other days where it was effortless and you didn’t really hide anything. It was mostly when you were laughing and having fun with each other.
Like the loving way he teased you about not liking any other band any time he heard a Fleetwood Mac song coming from your room.
“Do you ever get tired of listening to the same five Fleetwood Mac songs over and over again, y/n?” He had asked one night, leaning against your bedroom doorframe.
They were your favorite so of course you didn’t.
Rhiannon rings like a bell through the night and
Wouldn't you love to love her?
Takes to the sky like a bird in flight and
Who will be her lover?
You replied, “They’re my favorite, Dean.”
He had his arms folded across his chest and a smirk stretched across his lips as he sarcastically said, “Really? I couldn’t tell.”
Dean extended his arm, offering you to take his hand, and the two of you would dance together in your room. You would let your eyes close slowly and with your ear pressed gently against his chest, the music would eventually be drowned out by the sound of his heart beating melodiously against your ear.
He had said, “You’re my own little Rhiannon.”
“You think so?” You replied with a shy smile, looking up at him through your long, dark lashes. “She’s a little more wild and feral than I am though, Dean.”
“Ok, well maybe just sometimes then.” Said Dean with a wink.
“I’ll take sometimes.” You replied, nuzzling back into his chest.
Those were the times where you loved him more than anything and wished you could stay wrapped in his arms forever. But then there were other times where you would run into whoever he had spent the night with in the kitchen and wanted to rip her throat out…and his. Instead, you would just go back to your room and blast Silver Springs as loud as you could.
“SWEETHEART! I know you love that song but can you turn it down a little please? I have company.” He asked.
Turning to look over your shoulder, you narrowed your eyes, strolled over to your bedroom door, slammed it in his face and hoped that he didn’t hear your burst into tears on the other side.
That song was your go-to after Dean would hook up with a girl. Sam was smart enough to catch on to what you were doing and had finally said something to you when Dean wasn’t around.
“Ya know Dean might be a little too dense to catch on to what you’re doing, y/n but I’m not so why don’t you just tell him how you feel?” Sam asked.
“I’ve been in love with Dean since I met him, Sam. He’s been so kind to me since my dad died. You both have. He gave me a place to stay when I didn’t have anywhere else to go. You guys are my family, my best friends and I don’t want to mess any of that up so I can’t risk him not feeling the same way or being weird around me after I tell him.” You said sheepishly, gazing down at your feet.
Sam raised his voice a little as he replied, “Well, you can’t keep doin’ what you’re doin’, y/n. You’ll lose your mind or end up running over one of Dean’s dates in the motel parking lot!”
Rolling your eyes, you sarcastically replied, “It would probably be an improvement.”
Sam chuckled.
In a more serious tone, you continued.
“I want to, Sam. There’s nothing I want more than to tell Dean exactly how I feel about him but I just don’t know if I can.” You said as your eyes welled with tears.
“Just think about it, y/n. Please?” Begged Sam.
You had done nothing BUT think about it since you met him but that little extra nudge from Sam was exactly what you needed to work up the courage to cook up your little plan.
The Jeep was packed with all of Dean’s favorites. You didn't think a burger would keep very well so you decided to pack sandwiches instead, along with beer and of course, a few pieces of pie.
Sam’s voice echoed in your head for most of the drive to the secluded spot you found along the dark stretch of empty road. “…you can’t keep doin’ what you’re doin’, y/n.” He wasn’t wrong. You couldn’t keep pretending that you didn’t have “those” feelings for Dean. It would eventually get to be too much, you’d end up lashing out, and saying something that you didn’t mean. It would destroy the only family you had left in the world and it broke your heart to even contemplate.
No pressure or anything though, right?
The spot you found was far away from any bright city lights or pollution. It was just an open field with a clear sky above. The Orionids meteor shower was supposed to be highly visible tonight. Bright meteors from Halley’s Comet debris were expected to fall around 20 per hour starting after midnight, which was rapidly approaching.
You pulled the Jeep over into the grass, turned the engine off, and unloaded everything you packed for what you hoped would be a romantic evening. After setting up the blankets, food, and music, it was time to make the phone call. You could hear your heart beating loudly in your ears and feel it pounding rapidly against your chest as you nervously hit the “call” button underneath his name.
Dean answered on the first ring. You knew him well enough to know that was an indication that he was worried about you.
“Where are you? You shoulda been home by now, sweetheart.” He growled.
You tried to make your voice sound as steady as possible as you replied, “Are you busy?”
You could practically hear the eye roll on the other end of the phone when he answered, “Am I bu--?! No, I am not busy! I’ve been waiting up for you! What do you think I’ve been doing?!”
“Ok, well if I tell you something, will you promise to not get mad?” You asked.
“If you tell me that piece of shit Jeep broke down again, I’m gonna set it on fire and not look back when I come pick you up. Do you understand!?” He barked.
Biting down on your lip to keep from smiling, you replied, “Ok, then I won’t tell you.”
The silence on the other end was deafening. Dean knew that Jeep was really the only thing you had left of your father’s so he didn’t want to say anything else that he may regret later.
All he managed to get out was, “Drop me a pin. Be there as soon as I can.”
Your plan to get him out of the bunker to come get you had worked, which was the easy part. The harder part was going to be actually expressing to Dean your true feelings when you normally kept everything bottled up inside. He also knew a thing or two about keeping his feelings inside and letting them go, not in the most productive ways.
Anytime he was having a hard time and you would ask him if he was ok, he would get angry and threaten to “throw punches.” Not at you, of course, but just at whatever was in his way…a wall, a table, or a door.
However, you weren’t so explosive with your anger or frustration. It was easier for you just to shut down and not talk to anyone, especially Dean and especially after he had one of his random hookups. Those made you so angry, you would go blind with rage because you wished you could be in their place.
You’ve had countless dreams with Dean’s full lips kissing every inch of your body, his tongue parting your lips to tangle with yours, and settling between your thighs to devour you like a man starved.
All you had ever wanted was to look into his calming green eyes and tell him that you love him, that you’ve been in love with him since the day you met him, and for him to say it back.
You hoped you would have enough courage tonight to finally tell him.
**********
The engine of the Impala rumbled to a halt as you peeked out from behind the front tire of your Jeep to see Dean emerge from Baby with his lips pressed firmly together and his brow furrowed indicating his frustration with you.
You heard the familiar squeak of the car door as it slammed shut along with his loud, booming voice as he called out your name while he walked toward the front of the Jeep which is where your little romantic picnic was set up.
“Y/N?!! SWEETHEART?!” He called out.
Dean turned the corner, looked down, and found you sitting on the blanket with the food out, the music playing and a shy smile stretched across your lips.
“Your Wrangler didn’t break down, did it.” He said with a narrowed expression.
Nervously, you replied, “N-no.”
Rhiannon played softly in the background.
She is like a cat in the dark
And then she is to darkness
She rules her life like a fine skylark
And when the sky is starless
“What is all this, sweetheart?” He asked, folding his arms across his chest.
Trying not to stumble over your words, you replied, “I thought maybe you’d like to watch the stars with me tonight. The Orionids Meteor Shower is supposed to be pretty awesome tonight.”
It was understandable why Dean was frustrated with you. It was late, he had been worried about you for hours, and he thought you were stranded so leaving the bunker on a chilly October night was not what he had in mind tonight.
“This is why I had to change and come out here to get you, y/n? THIS is why I was worried sick about you? Because you wanted to look at–Is that roast beef?” Asked Dean, pointing at the sandwiches on the blanket.
The corner of your mouth curled into half a smile as you replied, “Maybe. Why don’t you sit down and find out.”
“Well if you have roast beef, you have to have–” He started to say before you cut him off.
“Horseradish mayo?” You said, handing him a container of your special horseradish mayonnaise.
A childlike smile extended across his lips when he saw you brought your famous horseradish mayo. You remembered the first time you made it for Dean and how he wouldn’t shut up about it for days which made you laugh. Even now, it makes you chuckle to yourself.
**********
As the two of you sat enjoying your sandwiches under the dark canvas of the night sky, the living fireworks danced across the horizon, one right after the other. They weren’t lying when they said you would see around 20 shooting stars in an hour. The blazing streaks of fiery light were everything you hoped they would be and each one that flashed across the sky, you made the same wish under your breath and in your heart.
You talked and laughed with each other, pointed out the crazy patterns of shooting stars, and enjoyed the pie that Dean sniffed out which you knew he would. Although the air was chilly, you didn’t feel it because of how close you were to Dean. The warmth spread across your chest and your cheeks, making you more nervous than you already were and you hoped that he wouldn’t notice.
Staring up at the sky, you could feel him looking at you, almost like he wanted to say something so you waited patiently, maybe something would come out.
“I didn’t mean it, ya know.” He finally blurted out.
You turned to meet his gaze and replied, “Mean what, Dean?”
“Mean that the Jeep is a piece of shit. I didn’t mean it. I know that’s the only thing you really have left of your dad so I promise I won’t set it on fire. I’ll fix it until the wheels fall off and it absolutely will not run anymore and even then, we’ll keep it in the garage forever, I promise.” Said Dean, sincerely.
Even when he said it, you knew he didn’t mean it. You knew he was just frustrated with you, he was worried about you, and maybe it was because he actually really does care about you.
“I knew you didn’t mean it, Winchester. I know you get frustrated with me especially when I go out on hunts by myself, when I don’t come home on time, and that I listen to Fleetwood Mac over and over again especially when…” You trailed off.
Your almost confession took him by surprise as Dean asked, “When what, y/n?”
Your stomach was twisted in knots and you felt as if an elephant was sitting on your chest, crushing your heart. When were you ever going to have another opportunity like this to tell Dean Winchester exactly how you feel about him? You had done this elaborate plan all for him and you were going to chicken out now?
“Maybe we should just get going home, Dean.” You replied, cleaning up the leftover food on the blanket.
Dean grabbed your wrist and asked again, “When WHAT, y/n? Sammy tells me I can be really dense sometimes but I think I’m starting to figure it out.”
“Especially when you have COMPANY over! I did all of this because I thought I could finally tell you how I feel about you and now I’m not sure I can get it out!” You yelled.
He didn’t know what to do with all of the information you just threw at him. Dean’s chest rose and fell with each breath that he took as his faded green eyes just continued to stare at you.
The beer had finally become liquid courage as you blurted out, “I’m in love with you, Dean! I’ve loved you since I met you and I can’t stand any other woman being anywhere near you without wanting to scratch their eyes out!”
“Well, that escalated quickly, sweetheart.” He chuckled.
You forcefully pulled your wrist away from him and through gritted teeth replied, “I knew you couldn’t take this seriously or feel the same way. Let’s just go. I’ll find a new place to live or just go back to living on the road and you won’t have to–”
Dean cut you off.
“Sweetheart, you don’t have to do any of that.” He said.
Angrily, you continued to throw all of the trash into a bag.
“Yes, I do!” You yelled.
Dean seized both of your wrists this time which caused you to drop both the trash and the bag. His face was so close to yours that you could feel his warm breath on your eyelashes and almost count exactly how many freckles were splashed across his nose.
“You said it yourself, y/n! I worry about you! I get SO frustrated with you when you go on hunts by yourself, when you don’t come home on time, and when you listen to the same five Fleetwood Mac songs over and over again! And you know why all that stuff bothers me?!! Because I love you too, sweetheart!!!” He yelled back.
His words hit you like a punch to the stomach. They were words you never expected to hear coming from Dean Winchester and you definitely never expected to hear him say those words to you.
Stunned, you asked, “You do?”
“You did all of this for me, how could I NOT love you back.” Said Dean.
He loosened the grip on your wrists. They fell to your sides as he cupped your cheeks, leaned in close and gently pressed his lips to yours. Parting your lips, he deepened his kiss as his tongue twisted and knotted with yours. His kisses became insistent with more tongue and teeth that left you gasping against his mouth while your fingers gently raked against his scalp and tugged on his soft brown hair.
“So long, Dean. I’ve wanted this for so long.” You whispered against his full lips.
Goosebumps erupted across your skin when his thick fingers lightly brushed against your collarbone as his lips collided with yours again.
“Tell me again, sweetheart.” He purred softly in your ear.
You kissed him on the cheek before whispering in his ear, “I love you, Dean.”
As soon as those words escaped your lips, delightful sparks raced up and down your spine that had nothing to do with the crisp October night but everything to do with the butterflies in your stomach and how quickly your heart was racing inside your chest.
“I love you too, baby.” Replied Dean.
Lacing his fingers with yours, he picked up the blanket and led you over to the Impala. His hips pinned you against the door as Dean started to kiss you again, all tongue and teeth as he nipped at your jawline and down the sides of your neck while soft whispers of his name escaped your lips like a muffled prayer.
You could feel his hard cock pressed into your core through his jeans and you wanted to pinch yourself to make sure that this was actually happening. Was Dean Winchester actually kissing you? Was he actually turned on by you? Were you actually about to get into the backseat of the Impala right now?
You didn’t want to stop him but you had to ask.
“Dean…wait.” You said.
Dean placed his hands on your hips as he replied, “What? What is it, sweetheart?”
Nervously, you replied, “Dean, I-I d-don’t just wanna be another notch on your dashboard, ya know?”
His mouth curled into a slight smirk on one side as he replied, “You think I go around tellin’ every girl that I love them? Huh, baby?”
Dean placed a finger underneath your chin, tilted it up so your gaze would meet his.
Stumbling over your words, you replied, “W-well…I-I hope n-not.”
“Put it this way, sweetheart. You’re sleepin’ in my bed when we get home but I want you now and I think you want me now too, don’t ya.” He said with a wink.
He wasn’t wrong. Of course you wanted him now. You’ve wanted him since the day you met him and there was no way you were leaving this field without having your way with Dean Winchester first.
You didn’t need to verbalize that you wanted him too, he just knew so he hungrily captured your lips again and the ache between your thighs grew stronger with each kiss. Dean fumbled with the buttons on your shirt before gently pushing it off of your shoulders and leaving you in nothing but a tank top and jeans. The car was cold against your warm skin as another shiver shot down your spine.
Dean moved one of his hands away from your cheeks to the door handle and helped ease you inside. He hovered above you and gazed down at you with a slight smile on his face. As he removed his jacket, you reached for the hem of his gray henley and pulled it up and over his head.
Holy shit.
Dean was a specimen underneath his clothes, broad shoulders, tight stomach, and strong forearms. Pulling him on top of you, your hands roamed from his shoulders to his back as his lips once again crashed onto yours. He nipped at your jawline and down the sides of your neck while his hand tightly gripped your outer thigh.
“You’re wearin’ too many clothes, sweetheart.” He growled.
Biting back a smile, you replied, “Well, maybe you can help with that.”
Dean reached for the button on your jeans, gently eased them down your legs, and settled in between them. He fit perfectly against your body like you were made for each other and the ache between your thighs was growing hungry for him and you were silently begging for him to touch you in your most sensitive area.
Anxiously, you touched his belt as your hands began to shake slightly while undoing his belt and the button to his jeans. Dean took notice of how nervous you were and placed his hands over yours to help you.
“It’s alright, sweetheart. I’ve got you.” He whispered.
Dean’s words had a calming effect on you. They made you feel at ease and relaxed. You believed him so you let him take control.
He lightly brushed the soft skin of your stomach then his fingers disappeared under the waistband of your panties. Dean teased your entrance with one finger. You were so wet for him, the blanket from your picnic outside was now underneath you and also soaked. He inserted one finger, continuing to tease you, circling your clit with his thumb, then he inserted another finger which caused your vision to go white.
Strangled moans escaped your lips as you couldn’t help but say his name over and over again.
“Dean…Dean.” You whimpered.
“You gonna come for me, sweetheart? I wanna feel you drip down my fingers. Can you do that for me?” He purred.
That sent you over the edge. As his fingers curled inside of you, they stimulated that little bundle of nerves that caused an explosion in the pit of your stomach and a loud cry of his name as you clamped down onto his fingers.
With a smirk, he said, “Thaaaat’s it, baby.”
Dean’s mouth slanted over yours, cutting off your moans, his tongue slipped between your teeth to tangle with yours as you bit down on his lower lip. He pulled back and licked the taste of you off of his fingers.
“You ok, sweetheart?” Asked Dean.
“Mmm hmm.” You replied and nodded.
Feeling a little more comfortable and relaxed, you were able to finish undoing Dean’s belt and unbuttoning his jeans. He took off your tank top and your panties then covered your body with his own. His kisses were more insistent, desperate, silently telling you how badly he wanted you.
“I want you, Dean.” You said.
He gave you a warm smile and replied, “I’m all yours, sweetheart.”
After slipping on a condom, he lined himself up at your entrance and pushed himself into you all the way to the hilt while the sinful noises he pulled from you bounced off the inner walls of the confined space of the car. He stretched you out easily with how wet you were for him and with each rut of his hips, the tighter your walls clenched around him.
He gripped your outer thigh with his large hand, he wanted to feel it wrapped around his waist as he fucked you deep in Baby’s back seat as your nails scratched up and down his back as you tried to stifle your screams into his shoulder.
“There’s no one around for miles, baby. You can just let go.” Said Dean.
Those words in his sexy voice turned you on, especially while he was fucking you. It was almost like you were drunk with pleasure and you wanted him as close to you as he could get, molding to you, fitting to you like he was your missing puzzle piece.
When he heard your cries of passion and strangled moans, it turned him on more and made his movements rapid and absolutely feral. You could tell he was close as he pulled multiple orgasms from you while thrusting faster. His grunts were louder now as his thighs tightened and it was his turn to let go.
Breathing heavily, you continued to ride out your orgasm as he gently kissed your forehead. A content sigh escaped your lips as you realized Baby’s windows were all fogged up.
“You’re welcome.” Dean said with a wink.
You playfully slapped him on the shoulder.
“Very funny. We fogged up Baby’s windows.” You replied.
Dean just looked down at you with his muted green eyes and said, “We sure did, didn’t we.”
Faintly, you could still hear Fleetwood Mac still playing outside.
Time cast its spell on you
But you won’t forget me
I know I could have loved you
But you would not let me
I’ll follow you down ‘til the sound of my voice
Will haunt you
You’ll never get away from the sound
Of the woman that loves you.
“You’ll never be just another notch on my dashboard, sweetheart. I’ll put a heart there instead. Or is that cheesy?” He asked.
You pulled him down on top of you and replied, “It is cheesy, but I love it and I love you, Dean.”
As you gently raked your fingers through his hair, Dean leaned in closer and in the gathering darkness replied, “Finally saying it outloud feels pretty good. I love you too, sweetheart.”
“I’m sorry it took me so long.” You said, timidly.
Dean’s lips found yours again as he replied, “Well I’m sorry I’m so dumb. And I let you love me so you can’t haunt me now, right? I’m your Silver Spring.”
That made you chuckle.
“Yes, baby. You’re my Silver Spring. How ‘bout we go home now?” You said with a warm smile and a kiss.
Dean returned your kiss, pointed at you, and replied sternly, “Ok, but you lead the way just in case that Jeep of yours actually does break down, got it?”
“I looooove youuuuu.” You said, looking up at him through your long dark lashes.
All he could do is playfully roll his eyes at you and say, “I love you too, sweetheart. Now get goin’.”
You love Dean Winchester more than anything but you just might haunt him anyway.
Oh, I loved this. I love a smitten Dean; the tension was so good. And the build up to the confession was *chefs kiss*. And of course the smexy times! 😍 Fantastic work, my friend!

“So where we goin’ again?” Frank asked, taking a sip of his beer.
The small passenger bus contained your group of friends plus your husband. You were all on your way upstate for a fun-filled Fall activity weekend that you helped plan with your best friendGinger. Of course, she planned most of it because that is just how she is but you were the one that actually found the place and it was called Liberty Ridge Farm.
“Liberty Ridge Farm, Frankie. Don’t you pay attention when we talk? Y/n found it and thought we could all have some fun at a corn maze. Should be a fun weekend.” Replied Billy.
“Yeah well anytime Ginger plans anything, she’s usually out for blood…and it’s usually mine.” Said Frank.
“What’s some friendly competition among friends, right Frank?” Ginger asked, taking a sip of her wine.
In unison, everyone turned to Ginger and replied, “FRIENDLY?!”
“Don’t act like the rest of you aren’t competitive because ALL of you are!” Snapped Ginger, as she playfully pointed at everyone.
She wasn’t wrong. All of you were highly competitive but especially Frank, Ginger, and Billy plus Ginger just loved getting under Frank’s skin. She loved to taunt him and egg him on while the rest of you sat back and watched the show unfold.
You replied, “Yeah I guess we all do have competitive tendencies.”
Trying to distract everyone, Maria looked around and said, “This is a nice bus! And what a great idea to have us all ride together and none of us have to drive. We can just sit back, drink, and enjoy the ride.”
In addition to Frank, Maria, and Ginger, you invited a few other friends, Jules, Curtis and Lily. The latter two were also in your wedding. You asked all of them to join you all for the weekend.
“And on the ride up, our driver said he would take us to some nice spots to look at all of the pretty fall foliage.” You stated.
Billy gently placed a hand on your knee, leaned in and purred into your ear, “This will be fun. I’m excited to spend the weekend with you, sweet girl.”
The tone of his voice was smoky and smooth like warm honey dripping from his lips. His words brushed against the outer shell of your ear and traveled down your neck as goosebumps erupted across your skin.
Giving your thigh a quick squeeze, his hand traveled upward, toward your hip before coming to a stop at your waist. Billy’s long agile fingers crept under the fabric of your t-shirt and tickled the soft skin of your stomach.
“I’m excited too, baby.” You whispered back, lightly brushing Billy’s beard with your thumbs.
He glanced over at Frank and Ginger talking shit to each other and asked, “You think they’ll kill each other on this trip?”
Shrugging, you replied, “Well, they haven’t so far and we’ve done a LOT with them. Remember when they crashed our honeymoon? I thought for sure it would have happened then.”
“How could I forget? He used the kids against me because he knows I can’t say no to them.” Replied Billy, as his lips curled into a wide smile.
“It was fun though.” You said, returning the smile as you leaned in closer and softly pressed your lips to his.
Billy kissed you back and replied, “It really was. And now we just bring them everywhere we go.”
“Hey you two! We’ve barely left the city and you’re already all over each other!” Barked Ginger. “Knock it off!”
As Billy kissed your forehead, you all started to laugh.
“I’m just kidding, you don’t have to stop. You two are so cute, I love it. Even though you did get married in the dead of winter. It’s fine though!” Said Ginger.
With a sly smile, you said, “Yeah but you weren’t hot though, were you. AND you crashed our honeymoon.”
As she raised her eyebrows, the corner of her mouth curled into a sly smile and she replied, “True, but we did have a great time, didn’t we?”
“We did. We really did.” You replied.
Ginger turned to Frank.
“It’s a three hour ride, Frank. You ready to listen to me sing?” She asked.
Frank took another sip of his beer.
“Hey, three hours is a walk in the park compared to the ride up to Vermont, so I’ll take it. Just have the driver turn the music up louder than you.” Growled Frank.
And so it begins. It was going to be an interesting yet very fun weekend.
**********
Your driver had pulled over at a particularly beautiful spot about halfway into your trip to Liberty Ridge Farm.
The autumn leaves stood out beautifully against the clear blue sky with shades of red, orange, and gold. Still a little damp from the morning dew, the early afternoon sun shined through them, clearly illuminating the veins running through each leaf as you looked up at them from underneath the tree, squinting slightly, and shielding your eyes from the sun.
The chilly fall breeze rustled the leaves above you as a few stray ones fluttered to the ground and landed at your feet. The older leaves that had already been on the ground crunched slightly under your feet as you inhaled the crisp October air and smiled as you watched your friends snap pictures and just enjoy themselves being away from the city.
“That’s a good one.” Said a smooth silvery voice.
Billy had snapped a photo of you when you weren’t looking.
“I think I’ll put that one on my desk.” He said with his signature smile.
“Let’s take one together, handsome.” You said, pulling him in close.
Billy had long arms so your selfie’s always came out nice.
“You two look like the picture that comes with the frame!” Exclaimed Ginger. “Lemme see that one!”
She yanked the phone out of Billy’s hand.
“Just like I thought…perfect. Look at these two!” She said, showing the phone to everyone else.
You were only slightly embarrassed when Ginger would draw attention to you just because you always had a hard time taking compliments.
“Alright, Ginger…Let’s take a photo together! Put the phone on the ground, Billy, so it’s pointing up at the trees. Everyone in a circle around the phone! Set the timer…Ready?” You asked.
Everyone smiled, the phone shuttered, and the result was a fun picture of the group with shades of red and burgundy as your background.
The driver mentioned there was only around an hour left until you reached your destination. He was going to drop you off at the airbnb and he or someone else would be back to pick you up on Sunday afternoon.
Of course, Ginger found an impressive log cabin for your weekend stay and it was only about ten minutes away from the corn maze. The large custom cabin had vaulted ceilings, a spacious, rustic interior and a lake outside. It fits right in with the theme of your weekend.
After a few more stops for picture taking purposes, you finally made it to the cabin and just the exterior was impressive with a manicured lawn and a path that led down to the lake, which you immediately wanted to check out.
The sunlight bounced off the surface. It glittered like diamonds as the surrounding trees reflected against the glass-like water. You could see that the large cluster of lily pads were gathered in one section of the lake as you gazed out from the kayak launch to see the lake stretch as far as the eye could see while the fluffy cotton-like clouds floated quickly across the sky.
“This is beautiful, sweet girl.” Billy said, as he snaked his arms around your waist and pulled you in close with your back flush to his chest.
“Well don’t thank me, thank Ginger. She’s the one who found it. She always manages to find the best Airbnb’s.” You replied.
“I do, don’t I?!” Exclaimed Ginger, sneaking up behind you.
Billy gave Ginger a high five.
“Nice work.” Billy said as his lips curled into a warm smile. “Let’s check out the house.”
He laced his fingers with yours, kissed the top of your hand, and gently tugged you toward the house.
“You think anyone has tried to use these cannons!?” Shouted Ginger.
Rolling his eyes, Frank replied, “You’re not serious, right?”
“Hey, ya never know, Frank. Who knows what people do when they’ve had enough to drink.” Ginger said.
You chuckled as you unlocked the front door. The inside was just as described and looked exactly like the pictures online. It really was a log cabin with the interior matching the exterior.
Everything was made out of wood with the exception of the massive stone fireplace that was in the great room, complete with inviting leather furniture and the overhead light was in the shape of a star.
There were three bedrooms upstairs and two more beds downstairs in the game room, which meant one of your single friends was going to have to double up or someone was going to have to sleep on one of the couches. Curt, being the gentleman that he was, volunteered to sleep on one of the couches which was very sweet of him and the girls were very appreciative of that.
You had done all of the grocery shopping before you left and transported everything in coolers to the house including all of the alcohol and other beverages. You bought food for dinner tonight, breakfast tomorrow, and breakfast on Sunday because you were all going out to dinner Saturday night after the day at the corn maze. And of course, no trip is complete without snacks.
You asked the men to unload the coolers that contained all of the food while the rest of you ran around and claimed bedrooms.
“Why do you get the master bedroom with the Jacuzzi tub? I found this place so gimme one good reason you guys should get it.” Ginger demanded.
“Because Billy paid for it, Ginger.” You responded with raised eyebrows.
Ginger paused for a minute as she tried to come up with a good reason but she couldn't, which just made you laugh.
“Well, I guess that is the best reason now isn’t it.” She replied.
You nudged her shoulder with yours and said, “If you read the details, it said the jets aren’t working anyway.” Followed by a wink.
“That does make me feel a little better. Let’s go drink wine on the deck!” She said excitedly.
You found the guys enjoying a beer on the deck and gazing out at the front lawn.
“See the woods back there? We should have brought the stuff, we could have had a serious game of paintball, right Bill?” Frank said with a smirk as he took a sip from his beer.
“Very funny, Frankie.” Snapped Billy.
Curt asked, “Am I missin’ somethin’?”
“We played paintball for Bill’s birthday. Yeah, got ‘em right in the neck!” Frank said with a hearty laugh. “Remember, y/n?”
A slight smile stretched across Billy’s lips. It was funny now but at the time he didn’t find it very funny and you were the one that had to ride home with him that day.
“Oh yeah Frank. I remember. I remember him pouting all the way home and having to deal with his sour attitude.” You replied. “It’s ok baby. I still love you.”
Billy kissed your forehead and pulled you in flush to his chest. His heartbeat was thumping in a steady rhythm against your ear as his long arms squeezed you tightly.
Ginger interjected.
“I saw some kayaks down by the water, Frank. You wanna have a race before dinner?” She asked.
“Is everything a competition with you, Ginger?” Asked Frank.
She replied, “It’s like you don’t know me at all. You afraid you’re gonna lose?”
Frank crossed his arms, inched closer to Ginger, narrowed his eyes and replied, “You’re on. And it’s not over til one of us touches the cannons in front of the house.”
“Which cannon?” She inquired with a wry smile.
With emphasis on the B, Frank replied, “Both.”
“Here we go.” Said Billy with a wide smile.
“We’ll start at the cannons, run down to the boat launch, paddle out past the lily pads, arc out to the other side of the lake and then back toward the launch. Run up the driveway, and whoever touches both cannons first is the winner.” Frank instructed.
Curtis said, “We really gotta do this now? We JUST got here, guys!”
“Since you opened your mouth, you can start us off, Curt.” Growled Frank. “And stay in front of the cannons just in case it’s close, but I doubt it will be.”
The cocky look he had on his face made Ginger narrow her eyes and inhale sharply but it was playful and all in good fun, like that friendly competition she had mentioned earlier.
Ginger pointed at Jules.
“Stay up here with Curt just so we have two sets of eyes.” She said.
Jules replied, “You got it.”
“I want the rest of you down by the boat launch, get goin’!” Ginger firmly said.
As you all strolled down to the boat launch, Billy turned around and asked, “You want a little push, Ginger? Frankie is rather strong.”
Ginger pondered for a minute then answered, “I’ll take a push.”
“What are ya doin’, Bill? Thought you were on my side?” Asked Frank.
Billy replied over his shoulder, “I am, Frankie. But my wife is Ginger’s best friend soooooo…”
With a shrug, Billy turned back around, draped his arm across your shoulder and continued to walk with you and the rest of the group, down to the edge of the lake.
When you were all in place, Billy slipped his boots and socks off then rolled his jeans up as far as he could get them to go even though they were probably going to get wet anyway. He stood behind Ginger’s kayak, ready to give her a quick shove when she stepped in. It wouldn’t be much but it would be a little help.
You heard Curtis shout from the top of the driveway, loud enough for the rest of you to hear him down at the launch.
He yelled, “READY?!! GO!!”
Eagerly, you waited for them to round the corner and jump into their kayaks. Frank was just ahead of Ginger as they ran around the corner and sprinted toward the edge of the boat launch.
Still with his boots on, Frank grabbed the paddle and waded into the water up to his knees before getting in the kayak while Ginger picked up her paddle, shouted at Billy to give her a push and began to paddle past Frank, hugging the edge of the large group of lily pads on one side of the lake.
It didn’t take Frank long to catch up to Ginger as they both did a slight turn to paddle across the lake to the other side while you cheered them on. They both touched the noses of the kayaks on the other side of the lake then headed back toward the boat launch. Ginger had added a trip to the gym as part of her new daily routine so she was showing off her added upper body strength, holding her own against Frank even though she was trailing a little behind.
Frank was a little clumsy with the kayak paddle, which allowed Ginger to catch up to him. You all cheered harder, the closer they came to shore. Frank’s kayak hit the shore followed by Ginger’s shortly after and then they started to sprint up the hill toward the cannons.
Following closely behind them, you clapped and cheered, eagerly waiting for either one of them to win. The road down to the boat launch was on a slight incline so running down to the water was a lot easier than running back up the hill.
Ultimately, Frank was faster than Ginger at getting back up the hill and he touched each cannon before she did, making him the winner. It was definitely closer than you thought it was going to be.
Panting, Ginger said, “UGH!! So close!”
“Nice try, kid. Good effort.” Replied Frank, giving her a high five.
With a warm smile, Billy said, “Well that was fun to watch. Who’s ready for another drink?”
“Loser cooks tonight, Ginger. You know that right?” Frank asked with a smirk.
She replied, “You’re lucky I’m a good cook, Castle. AND I actually like to cook too soooooo what if I lost on purpose?”
“Yeah right.” Said Frank. “You are WAY too competitive to lose on purpose.”
“Awww, you DO know me, Frank.” Ginger replied as her lips curled into a sinister smile. “I’ll definitely beat ya tomorrow in the corn maze though.”
“We’ll see about that, kid. We’ll see.” Said Frank.
Curtis shouted, “Can we please go relax and have a drink?! I was promised relaxation, dammit!”
“See, you guys happy now? You’ve pissed off Curt which is hard to do.” Billy said.
As everyone walked back up to the house, Frank said, “Alright Ginger, get to work. I’m hungry!”
“FINE!!” She hissed. “But you’re cooking breakfast in the morning!”
“You want help, Ginger?” Asked Billy.
Ginger turned to Billy and replied, “That’s very sweet of you, Billy but you’re not gonna do it right so it’s just easier if I do everything myself. You can set the table though.”
You grabbed Billy’s hand and said with a smile, “Don’t take it personally, baby. She says the same thing to me. That’s just Ginger. I’ll help you set the table though.”
Billy kissed your forehead and followed you inside.
**********
Dinner was followed by drinks on the deck next to the fire pit and the night continued full of laughs and fun stories. The ping-pong and shuffleboard tables were located in the basement as well as the two extra beds. Billy and Frank had a “friendly” game of ping-pong while you and Ginger were in the middle of seeing who was better at shuffleboard.
It was not Ginger’s night.
“Alright! I’ve had enough defeat for one day, I’m goin’ to bed.” She said. “I’m gonna dream about the breakfast Frank is gonna make for all of us tomorrow. I prefer eggs Benedict, Frank. And don’t fuck up the hollandaise sauce.” She continued, pointing at him.
She laughed maniacally as she made her way upstairs to her room.
“I-is she serious?” Asked Frank.
“Oh Ginger never jokes about hollandaise sauce. So don’t fuck it up, Frank.” You joked.
“Knew I shoulda cooked dinner. I’m much better on the grill than I am in the actual kitchen.” Said Frank.
Billy replied, “Live and learn, Frankie.” He turned to you and asked, “You ready for bed too, sweet girl?”
“Not quite, handsome. I wanna test out that big tub in our bathroom.” You replied with a wink.
Billy just looked at you with his million-dollar smile and said, “Fill up the tub baby, and I’ll bring you a glass of wine.”
On your way up the stairs from the basement, you turned to face him, snaked your arms around his neck and inched closer to his face. His dark chocolate like eyes focused on yours as you gently pressed your lips to his. Billy wrapped his long arms around your waist, pulling you in close before tangling his agile fingers in your hair.
It was the first time that you had been semi-alone together all day and even though you weren’t really apart, you missed him. You missed the closeness, his gentle touches, and his lips on yours.
He parted your lips with his tongue, sliding it against yours while you gently raked your nails against his scalp. His intoxicating signature scent of cedar, orange blossom, salt and neroli invaded your sense of smell as you hummed against his mouth and he growled softly against yours.
“Don’t take too long, handsome.” You said, brushing his beard with your thumbs.
Frank yelled from the bottom of the stairs, “One more game of ping-pong, Bill. Come on!”
“Go ahead, baby. I know you can’t say no to a challenge. It will take a minute for the tub to fill up anyway.” You said with a slight smile.
“You’re the best, sweet girl.” Said Billy, with a quick kiss and a quick tap on your ass as he turned to reply to Frank. “Alright, I’m ready, Frankie.”
**********
Sitting on the edge of the bathtub, you let the water hit your fingers as you adjusted the temperature to your desired level of hot. You liked your bathwater to be borderline too hot. The windows next to the tub overlooked the backyard but the only thing you could see outside was darkness. The rising steam filled the room as you added lavender oil and bubble bath to the running water. Dressed only in your bathrobe, you pulled your hair back into a flat clip, letting the small pieces of hair fall into place while framing your face.
The hot water hugged every inch of your skin as you eased yourself under the water, inhaling the aroma of the oil and bubble bath while sinking lower and lower until your head was the only part of you not underwater. Slowly, you closed your eyes and let out a long exhale as a sense of calm and relaxation washed over you. It had been a fun day but a very long one too so you were happy to finally have some alone time with your husband.
You heard the bedroom door open followed by the sound of Billy’s voice.
“Sweet girl? Y/n? You in here?” He asked in a soft silvery tone.
You answered, “I’m in the tub, handsome.”
Quiet on his feet, you didn’t hear him enter the bathroom but you felt him and heard the chuckle he let out when he saw you in the bathtub.
“You look very relaxed, baby.” He said.
As you opened your eyes, you replied with a smile, “Oh I am but I think I’d be more relaxed if you joined me.”
Billy raised his eyebrows, handed you both glasses of wine, quickly removed his shirt, and tossed it across the room. Biting down on your lower lip, you watched him strip off the rest of his clothes and carefully step into the water.
“Ow! I forgot how hot you like your bath water, my love. And you’ve already been in for a bit, haven’t you.” He said.
“I have but it feels nice though, doesn’t it?” You replied.
He nodded and motioned for you to come closer as you handed back his glass of wine and he touched his lips to yours before he sank into the water and pulled you in close so your back was flush to his chest.
The two of you relaxed, talked about the day, and you couldn't contain your excitement for the next day where you were going to try to be the first to exit the corn maze. The competition between Frank and Ginger was fun but you really wanted to win.
As you took a sip of your wine, you asked, “So? Who won the ping-pong match?”
Swallowing his sip of wine, Billy replied, “I did. I left Frankie licking his wounds and I apologized to Maria if she has to listen to him bitch about it all night. I told him I’d help him with breakfast in the morning though.”
“That’s nice of you, baby.” You said.
Billy kissed your temple, “I’m all yours tonight though, my love.”
The corners of your lips curled into a wide smile and you replied, “Good. Now finish that wine, soldier.”
You turned to face him as his gaze never left yours while he downed his glass of wine.
“I’m gonna rinse these bubbles off in the shower. You comin’?” You asked with a sly smile stretched across your lips.
With that perfect smile of his, Billy replied, “I’m right behind ya, baby.”
**********
The warmth from the early morning sun gently kissed the side of your face when you felt Billy’s lips against your cheek and hum in your ear.
“Mmmm…good morning, beautiful.” Billy purred.
With your eyes closed still, your lips curled into a slight smile as you replied, “Good mornin’, baby.”
“You sleep ok?” He asked.
A light chuckle escaped your lips as you answered, “Well between the long day yesterday and you tiring me out last night, I slept better than I expected to.”
“Oh I tired you out?” Billy asked.
You rolled over and snaked your arms around his neck, his dark chocolate eyes gazed into yours like it had been forever since he had done it last before he gingerly pressed his lips to yours.
Smiling against his lips, you replied, “Yes baby, but it was a very good tired. You gettin’ up to help Frank with breakfast?”
Billy settled in between your legs, firmly pressing into your core as he had done last night, first in the shower and then in bed. His cock twitched against your entrance as he hiked his t-shirt that you were wearing up over your hips.
You remembered all the sinful noises Billy pulled from you last night, how he worshipped every inch of your body as he sent goosebumps dancing across your skin.
Every gentle touch, every word he growled into your ear, and every thrust of his hips had brought you to the edge before tumbling over and you called out his name, which he loved to hear. Your words of praise and the soft touches to his exposed skin were Billy’s love language.
Those acts of love were all he had ever wanted, he desperately craved them, and when he received them, he loved them fiercely and showed you just how much he meant to you.
You were his world.
And he was ready to do it all again if you wanted him too.
“Well…I don’t have to get up RIGHT now, sweet girl. I may have a few minutes.” Replied Billy, as his hips pressed harder into yours.
A quiet moan escaped your lips as you lightly brushed his beard with your thumb before pulling him closer to you and your lips colliding with his. As much as you wanted to continue the activities from last night, it was time to start the day and Billy had to help Frank with breakfast.
“As much as I’d love to, baby, you have to help Frank get that hollandaise sauce just right otherwise Ginger will have both your hides...oh and judge you.” You said with a chuckle.
Billy replied, “I am much better at it than he is. He can cook the bacon on the griddle outside, he’ll like that.”
He gave you a wide Cheshire cat smile.
“Get movin’, soldier. We have a big day at the corn maze today. I need a good breakfast if I’m gonna win.” You said with a wink.
“Oh YOU’RE gonna win, huh baby?” Asked Billy.
“I am. There is no strategy involved. I just need to go the right way.” You replied with a sly grin and full of confidence.
“We shall see, my love. I guess I better get crackin’ on that sauce, huh?” He asked.
You replied, “Frank needs all the help he can get on that hollandaise sauce, baby. I love you.”
With his million-dollar smile, Billy replied, “I love you too, sweet girl.”
**********
While riding on the bus to the corn maze, Ginger was on her phone, looking at all of the activities they had. There were pig races, pedal carts, games, and pumpkin shooters. Basically, it was a competitor's dream which meant a showdown between Frank and Ginger was imminent.
It was going to be a long day between the maze itself and the other fall activities. There were two entrances to the difficult part of the maze, the theme this year was Sesame Street. So,you decided that everyone would enter at the same point but split up once you were all inside. Whoever emerges first, wins.
As soon as you were able to, you split away from the group. You could hear Ginger yelling at Frank and you couldn’t help but laugh.
“Don’t knock over any children, Frank! This is a family place.” She shouted.
As you walked through the maze, walls of towering corn stalks surrounded you. The fallen ones crunched underneath your feet as you rounded corners, searching for the correct way to go. The tall yellow husks were dry and prickly against your fingers while the crisp autumn air brushed against your face. The faint scent of dry corn mixed with the musty aroma of farm soil as you navigated through the twists and turns of the maze.
Smiling children trying to hide from their parents amongst the stalks made you chuckle as the sound of the rustling cornhusks surrounded you. With each twist and turn, the narrow paths looked identical to the previous one unless the turn led you to a dead end and then you had to backtrack and try to figure out where you went wrong.
The deeper you went into the maze, the sounds of people became fainter until all you could hear were sounds coming from the woods behind the maze. Rustling leaves above you dimmed the early afternoon sun as you continued walking through the puzzling labyrinth.
Occasionally, you’d run into one of your friends or your husband as they were all trying to get to the same place you were. Billy would give you a quick kiss and take off again. Ginger would ask if you had seen Frank before leaving you in the dust. Then you were alone again, wandering through, what seemed like, endless turns and paths to find your way out.
You could tell you were getting closer to the exit by the sounds of people’s voices getting louder and louder. Clusters of people gathered nearby were trying to decide which way to go and as you stepped out of the maze, you looked around to see if you could find a familiar face but you didn’t see anyone you came with, which meant you won.
As much as you wanted to text everyone to tell them they’re fighting for second place, you resisted. Instead, you opted to sit on the bale of hay that was placed right in front of the exit and wait for your friends to emerge from the maze. You pulled out a nail file from your belt bag and started to file your nails while you waited, hoping someone from your group would walk out so you could look up and ask, “Hey, what took so long?”
Ginger was the next person to exit the maze and when she saw you sitting there, she cursed aloud.
“Well, shit!” She exclaimed.
You looked up from your nails, tried to hold in a laugh and replied, “Hey, there you are. I wondered if anyone else was coming.”
“Very funny.” Said Ginger with a slight eye roll.
“Well, you beat Frank. At least you have that.” You said, trying to make her feel better.
After you said that, she realized you were right and her lips curled into a wide smile.
“You’re right! I did beat Frank.” Replied Ginger. “Move over.”
She sat down next to you on the hay bale and you both waited impatiently for the rest of your friends to finish.
Billy was the next person to exit. Frank was right behind him and angry that Billy finished before he did.
“You and those long legs of yours! Dammit, Bill!” Exclaimed Frank, breathing heavily.
You asked, “Frank, did you leave Maria to find her own way out all by herself?”
“She’s fine. She’ll find her way out.” Frank replied.
Maria and Jules were next to pop out of the maze.
“Frank! I can’t believe you pushed past us to get out ahead of me!” Yelled Maria.
”Oh you’re in trouble now, Frankie.” Said Billy, trying to hide his smile.
With his rich brown eyes, Billy gazed down at you and asked, “Who won? You or Ginger?”
“Who do ya think, baby?” You replied with a wink.
Billy said, “Of course you did. You told me you would. Was she mad about it?”
“Only for a minute but then I told her that she beat Frank so she was alright with me winning after that.” You answered.
Billy lingered in front of your face for a minute then softly pressed his lips to yours and said, “Well I think the winner deserves an apple cider donut. How does that sound, sweet girl?”
You kissed him back and replied, “It sounds delicious, my love. I think the winner also deserves one of those boozy cider drinks too.”
With a warm smile, Billy replied, “Anything you want, baby.”
**********
Curt needed to rest after coming out of the maze. He had been on his feet for a while and never complained about his leg being sore but after knowing him for a handful of years now, you recognized when he needed a break. Obviously, Frank and Billy noticed too. So, when Lily finally exited the maze, everyone made their way to concessions for a celebratory cider donut and drink.
Activities later in the afternoon included shooting baby pumpkins at targets with the pumpkin cannon. Each of Frank’s shots hit the bullseye so Ginger ended up owing him $50, which Frank turned right around and gave back to her because she picked the winning pig in the pig race.
Breaking away from the group, you wandered over to the pumpkin patch and found yourself watching some children roam from pumpkin to pumpkin, trying to find the perfect one. Each pumpkin they picked out, their parents said it was too big and they would never be able to get it in the car, which made you smile and chuckle.
You and Billy hadn’t been married for very long but you had wondered what your future children would look like. Would they have deep brown eyes and raven colored hair like their father? Would they have your smile, your nose, or your laugh?
“Hey beautiful.” A familiar voice said.
You turned around to see Billy standing behind you with his hands in his jacket pockets and a wide smile on his face. He crept up behind you and pulled your hips into his, as your back was now flush with his chest. Billy kissed your temple, your eyes gently fluttered closed before opening again and your lips curled into a smile.
“Hey there, handsome.” You said.
Billy asked, “You ok?”
“I’m good, baby.” You replied.
He could tell you were smiling, watching the kids laugh and play in the pumpkin patch. Of course, you and he had the talk about having children before you were married and agreed to wait a little while before starting a family.
Billy had his own reservations about being a father because he never had one growing up but he was great with Frank and Maria’s kids so you imagined he would be a great father. He just needed a little more confidence and convincing.
“You want one of those?” He asked.
You chuckled and replied, “Well those belong to other people, Billy.”
Sometimes you just couldn’t help but be sarcastic with him. It was so much fun and it always got a reaction out of him.
“Very funny, baby.” He said with a smile and narrow eyes.
“You’ll be a good dad someday, Billy.” You said with confidence.
Billy kissed your temple again and replied, “I hope so, my love.”
“We’ll learn together.” You said.
Smiling against your cheek, Billy said, “Sounds like a plan to me, sweet girl.”

After a long afternoon at the corn maze, it was time for a quick change and off to dinner at Powers Irish Pub. Billy was used to going to fancier places but you didn’t want that for this weekend. A casual night out in a pub was just what everyone wanted and when you all got together, you weren’t exactly quiet so the atmosphere at the pub was perfect.
The pub was inside a 225-year-old historical inn, nothing fancy but it was cozy. There were 18 craft beers on draft and the food was delicious. Tonight was all about good food, drinks, and fun conversation. You had a lot of laughs listening to Frank and Ginger bicker with one another.
“I swear I think your pig tripped my pig close to the finish line, Ginger. Mine was leading until that last half a lap!” Said Frank.
“They’re pigs, Frankie. I doubt that the pig Ginger picked, TRIPPED the one you picked. You sound insane.” Billy said, trying to control his laughter.
Frank retorted, “I lost 50 bucks, Bill!”
“Pick better pigs, Frank!” Ginger said.
Maria was laughing at her husband.
“This is funny to you?” Asked Frank.
She replied, “Oh absolutely. It’s always fun when we all get together like this. I’ve had a great time so far.”
“You guys ready for s’mores by the fire pit? I bought peanut butter cups too!” You asked the group.
“Did you say peanut butter cups?” Asked Curtis.
Frank interjected, “Oh y/n said the magic words, look at Curt’s face. Wrap it up, time to go!”
Billy husked in your ear, “I’ll get the check, you get the Uber, baby.”
“Roger that, soldier.” You replied.
As you started for the door, Billy pulled you back by your wrist and kissed you so hard, you could feel all the way down to your toes. His beard lightly scratched your chin as he parted your lips with his tongue to twist and knot with yours. The taste of beer was still on his lips and the intoxicating scent of his cologne lingered on his shirt.
You couldn’t wait to be alone with him later.
**********
Curtis headed straight for the fire pit and immediately began to build a fire. He methodically stacked the wood and had no problem getting it going. He practically tackled you for the peanut butter cups.
Although they were hardened by war, Billy, Frank, and Curtis were just big kids at heart. The three of them were still adjusting to but enjoying life after the marines. Something as childish as a corn maze was highly enjoyable because at some point they probably wondered if they’d ever get to enjoy something as simple as that again, maybe a cup of warm cider, or see children playing in a pumpkin patch.
They were all just boys when they enlisted and saw things overseas that nobody should. They had been forced to grow up fast, Billy even faster because of his upbringing. So, it was also fun for you to observe them enjoy themselves, especially Billy.
As you sat on his lap roasting a marshmallow, you could feel him fondly looking at you with a smile on his face, silently telling you how grateful he was for you, for loving him, and showing him the love he deserved.
He never had a childhood and each day you were together, you were giving that back to him piece-by-piece, and you hoped one day that he might feel whole again. It was still difficult for Billy to say what he was feeling but he was getting better at it.
While enjoying yourselves around the fire, he stayed quiet, just gazing at you as if you were the only person there until, without any prompt to, he purred into your ear, “I love you.”
“I love you too, baby.” You replied, biting back a smile. “You havin’ a good time?”
“With you, sweet girl? Always.” He stated with a wide smile. “It’s been a fun weekend with everyone else too. And hey, we made it through another trip where Frankie and Ginger didn’t kill each other.”
Snuggling against him, he eased himself backwards in the Adirondack chair until his body was resting against the chair. Abandoning your marshmallow, you let it fall to the ground so you could rest your head against him and let your arms snake around his shoulders.
You kissed him on the cheek and replied with a warm smile, “We still have to get through tonight and the ride back tomorrow, my love. But it’s lookin’ good so far.”
The two of you shared a quiet moment while everyone else around you continued to talk and laugh with each other. You let your nails gently scrape against Billy’s scalp, down his neck before your fingers wandered across his cheeks and you grazed his beard with your thumbs. His lips pressed against yours in a tender kiss as his hand wrapped around your throat like a necklace.
Just as Billy was about to part your lips with his tongue, you heard Ginger say, “Come on, man! Do you two always have to be this nauseating?!”
It ruined the moment but it didn’t matter because you all started to laugh instead. Times like these didn’t happen very often because you all had your own lives so it was hard to find time for all of you to get together but when you did, it really was the best time…and you were incredibly grateful for it.
“Thank you for a great weekend, Billy.” You said to him in barely more than a whisper.
Billy swept a stray piece of hair away from your face, kissed you again and replied, “You know I’d do anything for you, baby.”
Billy Russo had already given you what you wanted most, which was to be loved for who you are, flaws and all. In return, you gave him what he needed and what money couldn’t buy, which was someone to share his day with, love him with zero conditions, and the freedom to be exactly who he was meant to be without judgement.
If you’d like to be added to (or removed from) my tag list for the ever so handsome Billy Russo, just let me know and thank you again for reading! 💕💕💕 If I tagged you but didn’t want to be, just let me know and I’ll never do it again
I missed reading your work, my friend. This was so warm, and I kept giggling at Ginger and Frank's antics. I dont write as much as I used to, either. My creative juices just aren't flowing. But I always look out for writing. This did not disappoint. 😍❤️
I saw this gif and got super horny for Billy again, so this is what happened. You can also blame @becauseicantthinkwritings, @frying-panties, @dreadfulxives18 for encouraging me 😜

“Darling, my leg’s falling asleep.”
You pouted, not that he could see, and snuggled your face further into Billy’s neck. You were sitting on his lap, with your butt mostly on one of his thighs, cuddling up to his chest. He was still dressed in a full suit and had merely sat down on the couch for a drink, but you’d crawled onto his lap. You needed to feel his warmth, smell his cologne, and just be close to him.
You’d been lonely without him, spending the day feeling empty after waking up with his cock inside you. He’d left you blissed out, cum seeping between your legs. He wanted to clean you up, but he was late for work, and you assured him that you could clean yourself up.
The sound of Billy setting his glass down shook you from your memory. “Darling,” he said again. He ran his hand through your hair and pulled on it slightly.
You let him pull your head back so he could look at your face.
“Hi, Billy.” You said. You hadn’t even spoken since he’d gotten back. You just needed to feel him.
He smiled gently. “Hi, baby. I need you to get off my lap. I can’t feel my toes.” He let go of your hair and smoothed it back in place.
“Kiss first?” You bargained.
Billy grinned. “For you, of course.” He leaned in and placed a chaste kiss on your lips.
You pouted as he pulled away.
“What’s that face?” he asked. He knew what it was, though.
“Nothin’,” you said, knowing better than to push him.
You got off his lap and slid to the floor instead, resting your chin on the knee of his other leg as he stretched out the one you’d been sitting on.
“Penny for your thoughts?” You asked, looking up at his pensive face.
“Just thinking about my day.” He rubbed a hand over his beard.
“How was work?” You asked.
Billy shrugged. “It was hard to focus, with the image of my cum leaking out of your little cunt constantly flashing through my head.”
You felt your cheeks flush, but more pertinently, you felt arousal pool between your legs. You bit your lip for a moment, before you released it. “Maybe that’s something you need to see again.”
A beautiful, sexy smirk took over Billy’s lips. “Oh? You think that’ll help?”
“Maybe. Or maybe you need your cock in my mouth?” You trailed a hand up his leg and over his groin, which was starting to grow hard.
He grunted at your touch. “Maybe I need both.”
“Maybe you’ll get both, if you ask nicely.” You batted your eyelashes.
Billy’s tongue darted out to wet his lips. “I ain’t nice, though.”
“Yes, you are.” You disagreed. You continued rubbing your hand along the outline of his cock over his trousers. “You bought me those shoes I really wanted last week, even though they were full price.”
“They weren’t that expensive.” He grunted.
“They were two grand.” You scoffed.
“Pennies.” Billy quipped.
“You wanted to take care of me this morning. Almost made you late for work.” You said, still trying to tell him that he was nice.
“Well, had to do something for the excellent pussy I got.” He drawled.
You rolled your eyes.
“Well, you’re quite nice to me. You’ll never change my mind.” You said. Despite your many attempts to refuse him, Billy had been very generous to you. All the money he’d given so far had been used – in addition for pleasurable items like a new phone, or non-necessities like those designer shoes – for student loans, medical bills, and even your rent before you’d moved in with him.
You unbuttoned his pants and did your best to free his cock, but he ended up lifting his hips so he could pull his trousers and underwear down his legs instead. You pumped him a few times in your hand as you gathered some saliva in your mouth, before you let it dribble out onto his cock.
“Fuck,” Billy said.
You then lowered your head and took him in your mouth, moving your head down until your nose touched his skin. You let his cock tickle the back of your throat for a few seconds before you pulled back and started sucking on the tip. You teased the slit with your tongue and stroked him with your hand before you started bobbing your head.
Billy groaned. “Now I’m remembering why I’m so nice to you.”
The corners of your lips turned up, but you couldn’t give him the smirk you wanted to with his cock in your mouth. Billy always seemed to enjoy getting head from you, and with the way he treated and pleased you after, you didn’t mind giving it.
It was difficult to take all his length in your mouth though, so you stuck to using your hand near the base to stroke and squeeze what you couldn’t fit past your lips. Every now and then you would stop to suckle and lick at the swollen head, tasting the precum that was starting to spill.
Billy’s fingers wove into your hair, and you started to take him back in your mouth. You knew that he liked it when you struggled to take him all.
“Lemme feel that little throat choke on my dick.” He said, voice thick with arousal.
You fought your eyes from rolling back in your head as you felt yourself soak through your panties. You focused on breathing steadily through your nose, as Billy slowly thrusted his hips to fuck your mouth. Your fingers dug into the cushions of the couch, your pussy ached, but you let Billy use you. You wanted him to use you.
You were finding it harder to breathe and were getting a little overwhelmed trying to continually disengage your gag reflex, and tears had started spilling down your cheeks. When Billy noticed, he trapped his bottom lip between his teeth.
“Fuck!” Despite his roar, his rhythm slowed until he eventually pulled your mouth off him.
Your used jaw hung open for a little bit, and some drool slid off your tongue and onto your lap before you could close your mouth.
Billy delicately cupped your face and wiped away your tears. “Are you okay?” His voice was dripping with fake sympathy, but you loved it.
You tried to speak, but you could only nod. “Poor thing. Your brain’s probably leaking out of your little cunt, just like your mouth. Can’t even talk.”
You whimpered. You were so wet. Your panties were absolutely drenched.
“Fuck, baby. Get up here, lemme fuck that wet little cunt.”
Your legs were stiff from kneeling, but you sat down on the couch and pulled your dress off. Billy kissed you immediately, hands expertly ridding you of your bra and tossing it behind him, so he could twist your nipples with his fingers. One hand went up to wrap gently around the front of your throat and he pushed you so that you would lay back.
He moved his kisses down your throat to your tits, giving both of your nipples a wet suck, before he kissed down your stomach.
He looked up at you, his eyes menacingly dark with arousal. “I can smell you, baby, and I haven’t even taken off your panties.”
“So wet. Just for you, Billy.” You whined.
“Let me see.” He said. “Take ‘em off.”
You lifted your hips and pushed your panties down and pulled them off your feet. You dropped your panties to the floor, a little embarrassed at how you’d soaked through them when all you’d done was suck his cock.
Billy took one look at your glistening center before he slammed his cock inside you. He didn’t even bother to get undressed, but you felt the heat of his skin through his clothes.
You gasped hard at the intrusion. Usually, he warmed you up with his fingers, so now it felt like he was splitting you open. “Fuck, Billy... ‘s too big.” You practically sobbed. You realized you were still a little sore from this morning.
He gave one thrust, but then settled deep inside you and remained still. “What’s that?” He kissed your lips once, then your cheek, then began sucking on your neck.
“You’re too big!” You whimpered. Your hands clutched at his suit desperately in an attempt to ground yourself.
He chuckled into your neck. “You’re a big girl, you can take it. Can’t you?”
You whined as he pulled back and pressed in again. He was everywhere, it was too much, yet you wanted more.
He looked up at you and saw the single tear slipping past the corner of your eye. “Oh, darling. If you’re gonna cry, I can just stop. Don’t want to hurt the little baby with my big cock.” He kissed the trail left by your tear.
He started drawing back, but you cried out, “No!”
He held still, looking down at you with a smug smirk he was trying poorly to hide. “No? But I don’t wanna hurt your little pussy.”
“Please, don’t stop. I can take it. You made me so wet, Billy. I can take you, I promise.”
“Are you sure?” He asked, cupping your cheek sweetly.
You nodded vigorously. “Promise, I promise.”
Billy tapped your lips with two fingers, and you opened your mouth immediately. You sucked on his fingers, lathering them with your tongue before Billy pulled them out. He used them to press against your clit, and your hips arched up into him and your cunt clenched around him.
Billy grunted. “Such a tight little pussy. And it’s all mine.”
You nodded in agreement. “All yours.” You sighed, enjoying the way he was stroking your clit.
He started thrusted again slowly, but only for a few beats before he started fucking you earnestly. His hand abandoned your clit, so he could push one of your legs up against your chest and grip the arm of the couch in his other hand to allow him to rail you into oblivion.
Little sighs and moans were leaving your mouth unconsciously. You wondered if they could be heard over the sound of Billy’s skin slapping against yours. You were certain that they could, when you gave a particularly high-pitched whine as the tip of his cock hit that precious spot inside you.
Billy grunted. “Sing for me, baby. Let me take care of you. Like I always will.”
His words were what drove you to your orgasm, even more than the feeling of his thick cock dragging against your walls. Your body did indeed sing for Billy as you came.
Your vision kind of blacked out, and you could just barely hear Billy’s strained chuckle as he continued fucking you. “So gorgeous when you cum all over my cock like that. Your little cunt is fluttering all around me, baby. Feels so fucking good.”
You whined, getting a little overstimulated by his continuous thrusts. “Billy.”
“Yeah?”
“Mm, Billy.” You couldn’t say anything else.
Your vision came back into focus and there was a smirk on his lips. “I see your brain is still leaking out of your cunt.”
You opened your mouth to try to speak, but his hand when back to your clit and you gasped at the contact.
“Cum for me again, baby, then I’ll fill up your little cunt.”
Your back was arching from the attention to your clit and the building of your second orgasm. Your bare nipples brushed against the smooth fabric of his suit jacket and the peaks tightened even more at the friction. Everything was too much.
“Oh, don’t know if I can.” You mumbled.
Billy kissed your lips and slid his tongue into your mouth to tease yours for a moment. When he pulled away, he pressed his forehead against yours. “You can, baby, I know you can. You’re so good for me, aren’t you?”
You nodded, almost reluctantly. You didn’t want to do anything but please him.
“Yes, you are.” He said proudly. With that, he started rubbing your clit rapidly and he didn’t stop until your walls were convulsing once again.
“Oh, Billy, ‘m cumming.” You cried, fingers digging into his back.
“Fuck, yeah, baby.” His rhythm stuttered a little bit before he gave some hard thrusts and came inside you. His hair was out of place and fell in front of his eyes, which were squeezed shut in his bliss. He’d never been more beautiful.
You wrapped your arms tighter around him, so that he would settle against you. You needed his weight to ground you because you felt like you were going to float into space. Billy planted a few soft kisses on your cheek, jaw and behind your ear.
He pulled away then, and you groaned when his cock slipped out of you. You watched him watch his cum drip out of you. His dark eyes sparkled.
“Goddamn.” He said, his voice deeper than ever.
You bent both your knees and brought them close to your chest, opening yourself up for him. You ran your fingers gently through your folds and swiped at your entrance. You brought your fingers to your mouth, glistening with the combination of your cum and his, and sucked them between your lips. You moaned, mostly for show.
“Penny for your thoughts?” You teased.
Billy smirked. “You’re something else.”
You released your fingers, smiling up at him sweetly. “Think that will help you be less distracted tomorrow?”
He chuckled. “Definitely not.” He tucked himself back in his trousers.
You grinned.
“Come on, darling. Let’s take a bath.”
“Can’t walk.” You said simply, not even trying to move.
He shook his head, still grinning, but took you up his arms anyway.
You smacked a kiss on his cheek. “Love you, Billy.”
“Love you, too, baby.”

You woke up in a tangle of soft sheets and warm Bucky. He was curled up behind you, arm across your middle, hand over your heart. The time on your phone read 6am, definitely not time to get up yet. Bucky's breathing was heavy and even, still deep asleep. You tried to go back to sleep, but after a few minutes, you knew it wasn’t going to happen. You reached for your eReader, fingers just barely managing to grab it, because even in sleep Bucky held you tightly. You made sure to turn the screen brightness down and snuggled in to read until it was time to get up.
You were just getting to the part where Bilbo is taunting the spiders in Mirkwood when Bucky’s breathing changed, and you felt him nuzzle into your neck. “Whatcha reading gorgeous?”
“Faerie smut” you said nonchalantly, rolling over slightly to look at him.
“You’re reading what now? What is faerie smut?”
“Smut, but with faeries. Not little faeries, they’re people sized…” then you burst out laughing, because the look on his face said his brain had come to a grinding halt. “I’m kidding, I’m reading The Hobbit! See?” You held your eReader out for him to see. "Bob and I watched the movies, and he liked them, so I lent him my paperback copy. Then I decided to re-read it too. I’ve always loved it.”
“Me too. I read it when it first came out.”
“I read it for the first time in third grade, I think. I’d do some pretty sketchy things to get my hands on a first edition. I love that Tolkein created an entire world, complete with different languages. And his friendship with CS Lewis was unhinged. They were menaces!”
“You’re a menace” Bucky said, voice low.
“How so? I’m just laying here, reading my book, snuggled into my…um, my…you. Nothing menacing there.”
“You’re laying here, reading my favorite book, a smile on your face, snuggled up with me like you’re meant to be here. Definitely a menace to my heart. And I’m yours if you’re mine baby. It’s okay to say it. I already claimed you, remember?”
“I remember. And I like it. So, mine, and yours.” You pointed to him and then yourself. Then you pulled him down into a kiss.
Later that morning, you were perched on the counter, trying to reach the cabinet above the fridge where someone had decided it was a good idea to store the glass baking dishes. You had one foot on the counter and one on top of a tall chair, trying to get just one more inch closer to grab the damn dish you needed. Just as your fingers grazed it, you heard someone walk into the kitchen. “Mouse, what the hell are you doing? Get down from there?!” It was John, and he sounded horrified. You didn’t know if it was because you were standing on the counter or if it was your balancing act that had him sounding like that, and you didn’t care. You needed the dish for breakfast, and if tall people weren’t around to get it for you, well, you’d get it yourself. Being short, having to climb things to reach was nothing new for you.
“I need this dish. No one tall was around, so, I’m getting it myself! Yes!” You had finally gotten a good grip on it and now you were figuring put how to set it down without falling or dropping it. “Here, take this.” You held it out to John, your other hand pressing into the top of the fridge for balance. Instead of grabbing it from your hand, John reached up and grabbed you around the waist, pulling you off the counter with the dish in your hand. “Short women are terrifying. You’re fearless little gremlins. I think my heart stopped twice in the last ten seconds seeing you balanced up there like that. How were you gonna get down?”
You just shrugged as he set you on your feet. “I would’ve figured it out. That’s not the first time I’ve done something like that. My brothers used to put things up high just to see what I would do to be able to reach them. Mostly my books.”
“No offense honey, but your brothers sound like assholes.”
“Sometimes they are. They’re triplets and they were established as a unit by the time I came along. I don’t think they appreciated having a sister until I was older and could run around with them.”
“They all serve, right?”
“Yeah. Marines, Air Force and Navy. Dad wanted me to go to West Point, so he could have a kid in each branch, but that life wasn’t for me. I’m happy doing what I do, and supporting the boys. I make a heck of a care package.” John laughed at this. “I bet you do. Do you want help with breakfast? I can scramble eggs like no ones business.”
“Then get scrambling. We’re going to add ham and cheese and hash browns, put that all in this dish I risked life and limb for, then bake it. After that I’ll show you how to make the best French toast you’ll ever eat.”
Ava declared your French toast the best she had ever had, and everyone enjoyed the egg casserole. “I’m going to go take a nap after eating all of that. Bob, come with me.” Yelena held out her hand to Bob, and he took it with a smile. “Someone better clean up, since John and I cooked!”
Alexi volunteered to clean up, and the team started drifting away. Bucky gave you a sweet kiss and told you he had meetings, but he would be back later. “Can I take you out tonight, on an actual date?”
“I think, since you’re sleeping in my bed, a date would be good. Let me know what time to be ready and where we are going, so I’ll know what to wear.”
“Let’s say 7:30. Wear something pretty.”
“I can work with that. Kiss me again, then I need to set up for John.”
“Have fun with that. Don’t let him give you a hard time.”
“He should be worried about me giving him a hard time!”
“Go get ‘em baby.” He gave you one more lingering kiss, then headed to the elevator.
A little while later, you were standing on a box, hanging the last of your framed certifications, when John walked into the PT area. “Sweet lord Mouse, what are you doing now?” In his defense, you were standing on a wooden box that was balanced on an aerobic step, which wasn’t as stable as, say, a ladder. In your defense, you weren’t able to find a stupid ladder, so you made do.
“Hanging up the stuff that says I’m qualified to do this job. Will you hand me that frame please?” You pointed to your framed Sports Certified Specialist certification. “Damn darlin’, what are all these?” John asked, scooting you aside to hang the frame himself. “My degrees and certifications, starting with my high school diploma, ending with my Emergency Medical Responder certification, which I also need to hang. It’s a lot of years of education, and I wanted to hang it all up finally, make myself at home.”
“It’s impressive. Guess you do know what you’re doing here. Question is, what am I doing here? Told you I’m all healed up.”
“First, I definitely know what I’m doing. Second, you’re not all healed up. I didn’t miss the face you made when you pulled me off the counter, and I know it was from that pulled muscle in your back. I know you’ve got serum running through those veins, but it’s not an instant healing potion. Third, even if you were at 100%, you’re here so I can get a baseline on you, that way if you get hurt, I know where you started and can rehab you accordingly.” You gave John a level look that told him in no uncertain terms that you were in charge here. He stared back for a long minute, deep blue eyes assessing. Finally, he nodded.
“Yes ma’am. Where do you want to start?”
“With basic strength and range of motion and flexibility. Then I’ll move you to the treadmill, then the heavy bags – I made sure they are reinforced. After that we will finish up with the shoot course. I want to watch you move like you would on missions.”
“Should I have brought my shield?”
“Nope! I’ve got that part covered.” You couldn’t wait to show John how you had it covered. You had called Valentina and gotten John a brand new, not bent shield. You had told her he needed a new one, and if you needed to write a prescription for it, you would. The man needed one that wasn’t bent to do his job the right way and avoid injury. You had it in a box with a ribbon around it, waiting at the last part of his eval.
You began running him through his strength and range of motion tests, noting that his right side was just the slightest bit weaker than his left, likely from that pulled muscle healing so rapidly. On the treadmill, John moved like he was hunting a target. Fast and graceful, especially for someone as tall and muscled as him. He ran head up, form perfect. You maxed out the treadmill, just to see how fast he could go. When you stopped him, he was breathing hard, sweaty but looking proud of himself. “You’re amazing John. Perfect form, and I’ve never seen someone run like that and not be dying after. I saw the study MIT did on you pre-serum, and I was completely blown away. You’re even more impressive now. The way you’ve adapted to the serum…anyway! Let’s see what you’ve got on the heavy bags. I want you to wrap your hands. Super soldier or no, split knuckles don’t happen on my floor.”
What he had, was precision, power, and a chip on his shoulder. He was laser focused, but every strike was made like he was punishing the bag, like he had something to prove. You had seen it in other fighters, especially after a loss. That drive to prove themselves inevitably ended with them injuring themselves, either in the ring or during training. They went too hard and did damage to themselves, as well as their opponents. It made you worry for John on missions.
“Alright, lastly, the shoot course. I have nerf guns for you, and there are targets throughout for you to hit.”
“Why are some of them padded like that?”
“So you can hit them with your shield.”
“You said I didn’t need my shield! And you know it’s bent, right? Bob made it into a taco…” He trailed off, because you had pulled out the box wrapped in a ribbon. “Open it!”
“Honey, did you get me a present?”
“Something like that, Georgia boy. Now open it!”
John opened the box and pulled out his brand new shield. He looked at you with wide eyes, mouth hanging open. “How…?”
“I told Valentina you needed a new one. After telling her if I wrote a prescription for it and she didn’t comply that I’d file a complaint with the Feds, she got one. It came while you guys were on that last mission.”
John put the shield down and grabbed you, pulling you into a bear hug. He squeezed so hard you felt your entire back pop. “Too hard John, can’t breathe” you squeaked out. He let you go, but then grabbed you again, softer this time. He dropped a kiss to the top of your head and stepped back. “Thank you y/n. I can’t tell you what it means that you would do that.”
“You’re welcome John. Now show me what you can do.”
Like Bucky, John was lethal. He hit target after target, moving with speed and precision. Unlike Bucky, who moved with silent grace like a big cat, John moved with force. He commanded the course, moving with the authority of a man not that long out of the military. When he threw the shield, you watched how his body flexed and moved, making notes on shoulder and back exercises to keep him strong and flexible. When he finished the course, he was beaming. “Okay, I see why Bob had so much fun with this. Kinda disappointed you didn’t ambush me though.”
“It’s not as much fun if you’re half expecting it. Don’t worry, I’ll get you one of these days. Let’s walk over to the massage area and talk about what needs my help.”
“Really Mouse, I feel fine. You don’t have to take care of me.” John looked a little sad when he said this. “Look at me John” you ducked down so you could look into his downcast eyes. “You deserve just as much TLC as anyone here. You deserve to be cared for, and to feel like your well being matters, because you matter. So yes, I do have to take care of you, because you need me. Okay?”
John looked at you, eyes shining with what looked like unshed tears. He nodded once. “Okay.”
“Good. Now, let’s get your massage going. I want to work your back.” You showed him the tools you used, then left so he could get undressed. You had pulled the blankets back and made a point to let him know to get under them. When you walked in, he was under the blanket, face down. You went to work, starting with his feet and working your way up to his back. When you got to the area he had pulled, you worked in with the percussion massager, as well as the fascia scrapers. John groaned and squirmed the more you worked the area. “Am I hurting you?”
“No, but I didn’t realize it was still sore.” “You had a pretty good knot here. Almost done though.”
When you were done with John, you showed him the stretches and strengthening exercises you wanted him to do. “I want to keep those shoulders healthy, and your back, especially with the way you throw the shield. Let’s have you come in 4 times this week, with another massage on day 5. Do those exercises twice a day please.”
“Will do. Thanks again.”
“Welcome. Now go relax some more."
You were finishing up your notes on John when Bucky walked into the PT area. He looked grim. “Uh-oh. Either you’re hurt again, or you’re going to miss our date tonight.”
“I’m so sorry sweetheart, we have a mission. It’ll be me, Alexi, Lena and Ava on this one. Bob and John will be here with you. I promise, when I get back we will go on a real date.”
“Just come home safe. Try not to get hurt.”
“It’s just recon, we shouldn’t have to be anywhere near any bad guys this time.”
“I’ll keep my fingers crossed it stays that way.” Bucky picked you up out of your chair and you wrapped your legs around him. He kissed you fiercely, all tongue and teeth. You nipped his bottom lip and he growled. Before you knew it, you were in your room, pressed against the wall, Bucky flush to your body. You pulled him in tighter with your legs, until there was zero space between you. You could feel him between your legs and you made a sound like a whine in your throat. Bucky left a trail of kisses down your jaw, then gently bit you where your neck meets your shoulder. You started pulling on his shirt, when you heard a very insistent pinging sound. Bucky pulled back and swore. “Shit sweetheart, I need to go. When I get back…” You nodded, trying to catch your breath. “When you get back.” He kissed you, quick and hard, then he left. You flopped face down on your bed with a groan. Neither of you was doing well at taking this slowly. You wanted him so much you could barely think straight. You went and took a cold shower.
You were playing cards with John and Bob later that night when your phone rang. You hoped it was Bucky, but instead it was your older brother Jake. You answered on speakerphone. “Hey, what do you want?”
“Hey now sunshine, that’s not a nice way to greet your favorite brother.”
“Jamie is my favorite followed by John. They’ve never blown me off for some two night stand when I flew out to Japan to visit them.”
“I said I was sorry! I’m a terrible brother. But I want to make it up to you”
“Yes, you are. How are you planning to make it up to me?”
“Well, I’m in town. Want to take you out to dinner. And I’ll buy you something shiny as an apology.”
You looked at Bob and John, and smiled, coming up with an idea. “You’ll pay for dinner for me AND two friends, minimum. You’ll also pay for a new tattoo of my choosing. Then you can finish your apology with something shiny and penguin themed. Then I’ll consider forgiving you.”
“That’s a deal. Where are you living now? Mom said you moved recently. And speaking of that, do you have room for me to stay?”
“Of course I do. I’ll text you the address, let me know when you get here. It’s a…secure…building.”
“Good. I want my baby sister safe in the big city. See you soon. Oh, and these two friends…are they hot?”
You looked at John and Bob and held back a laugh. “Very. They’re both tall, one is blonde and the other brunette, and they have these amazing blue eyes.”
“You know I love a tall girl with blue eyes. ETA is 30 minutes. Oh, and Emma is with me.”
“Really?! I can’t wait, I haven’t seen her in way too long. Now I’m excited.”
“Hey!”
You hung up and burst out laughing with John and Bob. “That was evil Mouse. What is he gonna do when he gets here and sees that the tall blue eyed girls are actually tall blue eyed guys?”
“Trust me John, Jake deserves it. That’s what he gets for thinking with his libido.” “Did he really ditch you in Japan?” Bob asked.
“For two days while he was chasing some Marine chick. He’s in the Air Force and he was there for a week. We were supposed to meet up and hang, but when he ditched me I flew to Tokyo and hung out by myself. He got mad that I left, and we haven’t completely patched things up yet. I’m sure we will while he’s here. None of my brothers let me stay mad too long.”
“How long has it been?”
“Three months.”
Just then, your phone rang again. “Hi sis. I think we might be at the wrong address.”
“Are you at the Watchtower?”
“Yeah. Are you next to it or something?” “Nope! I live in the tower. Go ahead and come in, I’ll let security know. They’ll send you up to the right floor.”
The elevator dinged, and you turned to look at your brother. Despite Jake being a jerk, you missed him, and your other brothers, like you would miss a limb. He held out his arms, and instead of hugging him, you kicked him in the shin. “Ow! What the hell?”
“You know what you did. You want a hug, you earn it.” You turned to Emma next. The pretty brunette had been your friend since childhood, and she was transitioning from the Army to civilian life. You had been trying to convince her to come see you and look at jobs in the city. Looked like she was at least considering it.
“Guys, this is Bob Reynolds (you pointed at Bob, who gave a little wave) and John Walker. Bob, John, this is Emma and Jake. I’ve known Emma since we were kids living on base in Iwakuni.”
Jake stood and stared, first at Bob and then at John, then shook his head. “Guessing these are the two hot friends?” “You guess right! I never said they were women.” Emma spoke next, walking forward to shake John’s hand, looking a touch star struck. “Good to meet you Captain Walker. I followed your career, it’s impressive.” John’s ears turned pink, but he shook Emma’s hand with a nod.
“So baby sis, how’d you end up working here? And where are we going to dinner?”
You filled them in on your life lately, leaving out that you and Bucky were…something to each other already. Jake was overly protective when it came to you and men. He had hated the last guy you dated. He was also the family gossip, and since you and Bucky hadn’t quite defined things, you weren’t ready to give Jake something to tell the entire family.
You all went out for pizza and drinks, since it was easy and there was a good place not far from the Tower. John and Bob were playing pool, leaving you chatting with your brother and Emma.
“Okay spill, who’s the guy?” Emma said after watching you check your phone repeatedly. You didn’t want to miss if Bucky called. “What? What do you mean?” You tried giving her the “shut up for now” look with your eyes, but she doubled down. “You’re checking your phone constantly, and you have that look. And before you ask, it’s that new guy shiny look. So spill! Who is he?” Jake looked from you to her and back to you.
“Shit, is it Walker?! Is that how you got the job? I thought you were smarter than that!”
You glared at Jake and his insinuation. You also knew John had heard, because he put the pool cue down and was walking over, jaw clenched. “First of all, who I’m with is none of your business, and never has been. I am an adult. Second, I don’t have to be fucking a super soldier to get a job working with them. I did over a decade of school and certifications to be qualified for this job. And third, don’t you ever say John Walker’s name like that again! The man has three medals of honor, and has treated me more like family since I met him than you have in years! Tell you what, you find somewhere else to stay, and we can try this again when you’re done being a jackass.” John stopped dead behind your brother, reaching for him like he was going to grab him and toss him across the room. You shook your head at him and got up to leave, grabbing John’s hand and Bob’s on your way to drag them with you. You stopped short and turned back, remembering Emma was with you.
“Sorry Em, but your boyfriend is dumb and I’m ashamed of him.” Emma looked at you with wide eyes. “How’d you know?”
“I’m not blind. His hand has been on your thigh since we sat down. Call me later and we can meet, just the two of us.”
You made it back to the Tower, still fuming. When you got back to the common area, the wave of your temper crashed over you. “That absolute bastard! How dare he?! Acting like sleeping with you (here you pointed at John) is the only way I could get this job! A job he didn’t even know about until today! And saying your name like you’re a bug or something, or like you’re not good enough for me?!” John just stared at you, letting your rant wind down. Bob stood behind you rubbing small circles on your back. As your temper ran down, the tears started. You walked over to John and grabbed his hand. “John, I am so sorry he acted that way. You don’t deserve to be talked about like that, and I should’ve punched him in his stupid face for it.” You started sobbing, the thought that your brothers careless words could have hurt John or caused him to doubt his worth more crushed you. John pulled you over to the sofa, nodding at Bob above your head. “I’ll make you some tea Mouse” Bob said, giving you a quick squeeze.
You sat on the couch next to John, and wiped your tears with your hands. John spoke quietly “Listen y/n. I have been hearing stupid things like that said by bigger assholes for a while now. It doesn’t bother me like it did, thanks to someone special finally getting me talking to a therapist. What did bother me, and what made me want to throw him across the room, is that he talked to you that way. He implied that one of the most caring, smartest and loving people I have ever met only got her job because she was fucking someone, not just me. When I heard that, I saw red. Because if I had a sister like you, I would count myself as a lucky guy. In fact, all of us are lucky, because you walked into our lives. So don’t apologize for that asshole honey. You have nothing to be sorry for. You stood up for me and for yourself, and I’m…thank you.” Then he leaned forward and wrapped you in a soft hug. “Okay well now I’m crying because that was incredibly sweet John. Thank you.”
Bob walked in with tea, handing it to you and bending to drop a soft kiss to the top of your head. “Safe to say you’re stuck with us now Mouse” he said. You gave them both a smile and sipped your tea, feeling the weight of the fight with your brother lifting, thanks to the two incredible men sitting with you. For the first time in so long, you felt seen and accepted, even loved.
All in all, the team was away four days. When they came home, you, Bob and John were sitting in the TV room, all the lights off, watching a scary movie and eating popcorn. Well, you were eating popcorn and watching the movie. Both guys had tried to Nope out at least twice since the movie started, so you were leaning on Bob and had your feet resting on the edge of the blanket John was using, effectively pinning him down. You had just gotten to the scariest part of the movie when Bucky and Ava walked in, trailed by Yelena. “Thank God you’re back. Help us. She won’t let us leave” John said, sending a jokingly pleading look at the three of them. “She’s half your size John, how is she keeping you here?” Ava asked with a laugh, settling herself on the arm of the couch, leaning against him slightly. “She's stronger than she looks, and she fights dirty. I tried to leave and she looked at me with puppy eyes!” Bob nodded and added “She grabbed my hand and said please. She said there was safety in numbers and if we leave, that’s how every horror movie starts, with splitting up. We had to stay.”
Yelena laughed, moved Bobs blanket and curled up in his lap like a cat, settling the blanket back over them. “Don’t worry lyubimaya, I’ll protect you.” Bob grinned and turned back to the screen.
Bucky scooped you up, blanket and all, then settled on the couch with you in his lap. “Missed you” he said, brushing a soft kiss just below your ear that made you shiver. Then a little louder he said “You being a terror doll?”
“Don't say doll!” John said, just as the possessed doll in the movie popped up on the screen again, making him jump. You leaned into Bucky more, wiggling to get comfy. “Missed you too. And there’s safety in numbers! If we are all together, the evil doll can’t get us.” You felt, more than heard Bucky chuckle. You looked over and saw Ava lean in closer to John, whispering in his ear. His smirk made you raise your eyebrow at him, which he pointedly ignored. You nudged him with your foot. “Don’t make Ava sit on the arm John, be a gentleman and give her a seat!” He gave you a mock scowl, then scooted closer to you so Ava could slide down between the arm of the couch and him. “Come on darlin’, you can keep me safe from the doll and Mouse.” Ava laughed and stuck her tongue out at you playfully. “Real subtle babes.” You just laughed and turned your attention back to the screen.
Later that night, after ordering pizza and making the team sit through the second movie in the series, you were in the kitchen gathering snacks for yourself and Bucky, when you heard a quiet step behind you. You spun around to see Ava, clad in nothing but a t-shirt with the name Walker on the back, trying to dart back around the corner. “Freeze!” you told her. She stopped mid-step and turned to face you. You got a good look at the front of her shirt. “I didn’t know you went to West Point. How’d you like it?” you asked her with a devilish grin. Before she could reply, you heard John’s voice. “Baby, you coming back?” Ava’s face turned beet red “In a moment, just grabbing snacks.” She made grabby hands at your snacks, and you handed them to her. “Have a good night” you told her with a wink. She phased through the wall and you went back to gathering snacks, happy for them both.
Bucky was waiting for you in your room, already under the covers. “Did you get lost sweetheart?”
“No, I caught Ava coming to grab snacks, wearing John’s West Point shirt.”
“I’m pretty sure that’s a new thing. I heard her call him while we were gone. I can’t unhear what they said” he shuddered dramatically.
“I think it’s cute!”
“You’re cute” he said, pulling you until you were straddling his lap. He leaned forward and kissed you gently, hands resting on your hips. “Can we go out tomorrow night? I want to do this right.” You nodded. “I would love a date with you Bucky. I really did miss you.”
“What did you do while I was gone, besides terrorize John and Bob?”
You filled him in on giving John his new shield, and your fight with your brother. When you confessed what he had said about you only getting the job because you were sleeping with John, Bucky growled. “Please tell me you let John take him apart.”
“No, because John would’ve gone to jail, and I would have had to deal with telling my mom her youngest son was in the hospital for being an idiot.”
“Fair enough. Wish I had been here for you.”
“You’re here now” you said, leaning to place a kiss on his chest. “I don’t want to be anywhere else baby. I’m home” Bucky told you, pulling you down until your head was resting on his chest, has arms around you. You wondered how much longer you were going to be able to keep the fact that you had fallen head over heels for him to yourself, or if he could already hear it in the beat of your heart.
He could, you just didn’t know it yet. He hoped you could hear it in his too.

I really like the budding friendship with them, and I love the moments with Bucky. The faerie smut made me chuckle. I am currently re reading A Court of Thorns and Roses. And I love the Hobbit. I read it to my mom before she died. I'm sorry I'm a little behind on my reading. But I really love this. Thank you for tagging me, 😍💜

“I’m leavin’, baby!” You shouted loudly so he would hear you over AC/DC’s Back in Black.
You loved watching Dean work, head buried under the hood of the Impala, his strong hands dirty from car grease, and his ass looking as perfect as ever bent over the car while the familiar sound of a socket wrench could be heard coming from under the hood.
The sleeves of his gray Henley were pushed up, showing off his impressive forearms that flexed with every click of the socket wrench and the familiar look of concentration was all over his face as he continued to give Baby a tune up.
You stopped in your tracks just to watch him for a minute.
Inhaling sharply, your thoughts traveled back to early this morning when Dean placed gentle kisses on your bare shoulder and peppered them along your upper back, toward your neck, and found that sweet spot you love so much at the base of your neck where it meets your shoulder. Your lips curled into a warm smile as you remembered the raspy sleepy tone to his voice when he whispered “Good morning, sweetheart.” You felt his warm breath coasting along the outer shell of your ear, sending fresh shivers down your spine as goosebumps danced across your skin.
Because Dean didn’t sleep much, he was always awake and up out of bed before you so you’d always walk into the kitchen and see him enjoying his coffee in peace but he’d always have your cup ready and waiting next to the coffee maker so you never had to look for it. Little gestures like that really showed you how much he loved you and made you love him even more for it.
“You like the view from back there?” Dean asked.
You could tell he had a smirk on his face just from the tone of his voice so you decided to mess with him just a little bit.
“Eh, it’s ok.” You replied, covering your mouth, trying not to laugh.
Dean turned his head to look over his shoulder.
“Ok? What are you talkin’ about, sweetheart? I have a great ass.” Growled Dean.
You had crept up behind him and grabbed his ass with both hands. You purred into his ear, “You’re right, baby. You do have a peach of a heinie.”
Dean turned to face you, resting his backside against the car with your hips pressed against his as you snaked your arms around his neck.
“Careful, baby. I don’t wanna get grease all over you. I’ll just keep my hands to myself.” He said, resting his hands at his sides.
You winked at him and asked, “Well where’s the fun in that?”
Catching the light, his moss green eyes invited you to hold his gaze, and made it impossible to look away. With that smirk still on his face, you wanted to kiss it right off of him but he beat you to it and captured your lips in a soft kiss. His full lips covered yours in an intense kiss with his tongue slipping into your mouth, entangling with yours as you raked your fingers through his soft brown hair, returning his kiss and gently biting down on his lower lip.
“I can work on the car later if you’re gonna kiss me like that.” He said with a sexy smile.
“Do you want pie or not? If you do, you gotta let me go to the store to get the ingredients to make you one.” You said.
His lips curled into a warm smile as he asked, “Okaaaaaay. How long you gonna be gone?”
You had some errands to run today, after having lunch with a couple of friends and finishing your day at the grocery store so you’d probably be gone for a few hours at least.
“Why? You throwin’ a party or somethin’? Just tell the strippers not to get glitter all over the place. That’s my only request, ok? I’ll be back in a few hours…have fun, champ.” You replied, lightly tapping his chest.
That made him chuckle.
You started to pull away when he asked, “Can I have one more kiss?”
The corner of Dean’s mouth turned up into half a smile and with his faded green eyes, he looked at you as if he already missed you and that made it hard for you to say no.
So, with your lips ghosting over his you replied, “Of course you can, handsome.”
Lightly scratching his scalp, you pulled him in closer, gently pressed your lips to his and then, deepening your kiss, gave him something to think about while you were gone. You parted his lips with your tongue, entangling it with his as you chased each other's smiles.
Dean tasted like peppermint and faintly smelled of leather and car grease. The growing bulge in his jeans silently told you he didn’t want you to go but that was the whole point of kissing him like that.
A strangled moan escaped his lips as he shifted his body to accommodate the impressive tent in his pants, trying not to let you know what you were doing to him but you didn’t need to use that as a gauge.
The almost needy noises that fled from his mouth as he kissed you back was what you needed to hear to know that if you wanted him to, he could have his way with you right on the hood of his car.
“So, I’ll see you in a little while? How long we talkin’?” Asked Dean.
You replied, “Two…three hours tops. Have fun workin’ on Baby…baby.”
Turning to walk away, Dean gently slapped you on the ass which caused you to blush and giggle like a teenage girl at a sleepover.
“Three hours tops, right?” Asked Dean.
You wondered why he wanted to know so badly when exactly you were coming home. Maybe he had a surprise for you? Or was he going to cook you dinner? What was he up to?
You smiled, nodded and replied, “Yes baby…three hours max, I promise.”
“Ok, have fun and don’t forget the ingredients for the pie!” He barked.
“Get back to work, Winchester!” You barked back, looking over your shoulder with a wide grin.
With a smile, Dean just shook his head and threw himself back into working on the car.
**********
While at lunch, you kept zoning out of conversations because it was killing you not knowing what Dean was up to. He really wanted to know when exactly you were coming home. And it wasn’t because you thought he was doing something wrong or anything like that but you were just extremely nosey and needed to know.
“Y/n!!” Shouted Cassie.
“Why are you so distracted today?” Lauren asked.
You felt bad. Today was supposed to be fun, catching up with friends, having a nice lunch with a little shopping thrown in but you couldn’t stop yourself from wondering what was going on at home.
“I’m sorry guys. Dean just kept asking how long I was gonna be gone for and I was just wondering why he kept asking. I joked with him about having strippers over but it was just a joke. I know he’d never…” You trailed off.
Feeling extremely guilty for even thinking something like that, you shook the thought right out of your head and your friends tried rationalizing why he would want to know so badly. They had similar thoughts that you had even before leaving today.
“Maybe he has a surprise for you and needs time to set it up.” Said Lauren.
“Or he got you a puppy and he has to go pick it up. Ooh! Maybe he’s building you that bookshelf for your bedroom that you want!” Cassie said excitedly.
Pressing your lips together in a straight line, you glared a little at her as you replied, “In three hours? Not likely, but thanks for trying to make me feel better, guys.”
Lauren placed her hand in yours and said, “Look, both of us can see how much he loves you. It’s in the way he looks at you with those inviting green eyes, that sexy smile, how playful and sweet he is with you…”
Both she and Cassie had a look of puppy love all over their faces which made you chuckle.
“Guys?” You asked with a wide smile.
Stumbling over her words a little, Cassie said, “I-I think our p-point is that Dean loves you and he’d never do anything to hurt you, ok?”
“I’m sure you’re right. He’s just never pushed so hard for when I was gonna be home.” You said with a shrug.
“You DID say you were going to make him a pie.” Said Lauren.
“Oh, you’re right. I did say I would do that, didn’t I.” You remembered.
Cassie playfully slapped you on the shoulder.
“See, we figured it out! Now let’s get outta here and do some shopping!” She said.
Your friends always know how to make you smile.
**********
After a fun visit with your friends, you headed to the grocery store to pick up some essentials and of course the ingredients to make a pie for Dean. The only decision you needed to make was what kind of pie.
When it came to pie, Dean didn’t really have an exact favorite. You were convinced he loved all pie equally so you decided to let the pie roulette wheel land on banana cream.
Since it was later in the day, the grocery store wasn’t busy which you were very thankful for. The last thing you wanted to do was wait in a long line and be shoulder to shoulder with people walking up and down the aisles.
You were actually a little early when you pulled into the driveway, you could see that Baby was clean and waxed. It was clear that Dean had been busy since you were gone and he wasn’t outside so your guess was that he was either out back on the deck enjoying a beer after his day taking care of the Impala or he was relaxing inside.
With bags in hand, you thought you heard the bathroom door close when you walked inside but you called out for him anyway. You needed help with the groceries.
“Dean?!! Can you help me, please?!” You said with a raised voice.
You could hear him fumbling around in the bathroom and along with that, came the familiar sound of “Son of a bitch!”
Shaking your head and laughing, you knocked gently on the bathroom door.
“Dean? Baby? You ok?” You asked.
With panic in his voice, he replied, “Uh, yeah…yeah sweetheart, just uh, gimme a second here…shit!”
What was he doing in there?
You needed to know so you knocked a little harder and louder.
“Dean? Open the door.” You commanded.
“I don’t want to. You shouldn’t see me like this!” He replied with a growl.
You forcefully grabbed the door handle and tried to open it but it was still locked.
“Dean Winchester, you open this door right now or you can kiss your banana cream pie, goodbye!!” You shouted.
The fumbling stopped and it was suddenly really quiet on the other side of the door.
“Alright…I’m coming out.” He said, sheepishly.
He unlocked and opened the door. You took one look at his face and burst out laughing. Apparently, Dean had used his time alone to do some at-home skin care because he was standing in front of you with one of your peel-off charcoal masks on his face.
“It won’t come off.” He said with his bottom lip stuck out a little.
You could not stop laughing. Bracing yourself against the wall, you finally managed to get a grip and reply, “Wait…THIS is why you wanted to know how long I would be gone for?! So you could do a 10 step skin care routine?!!”
“Alright baby, it’s not THAT funny!” He said with his voice full of embarrassment.
“Oh I beg to differ, my love. It really is THAT funny!” You replied.
Dean was incredibly embarrassed but then the corners of his mouth curled up slightly and he started to chuckle right along with you.
“Well, can you help me?!” He begged.
Pushing him back into the bathroom, you replied, “I’m sorry, baby. I’ll help you. Look, it’s a PEEL off mask, not a wash off one.”
You started at the edge of his face and as gently as possible began to peel the mask off, Dean wincing the closer you got to his nose and close to his hair.
“OW! Son of a bitch!” He bellowed.
“Oh quit being a baby, Winchester. It’s not that bad. Besides, beauty is pain.” You said snickering, getting the last of the mask off of his face.
“Well, why doesn’t it say that on the tube then?” He growled.
The tube was sitting on the edge of the sink. You picked it up and pointed to the part where it said “peel off.”
“Oh it doesn’t? Then what does this say?” You said sarcastically.
Embarrassed again, he replied, “Oh…”
“Look at you! You look even more handsome than when I left! It must be the skincare!” You joked.
Dean pressed his lips together, glared at you, and started to walk away. Grabbing onto his shirt, you tried to stop him.
“Ok baby, baby…I’m sorry!” You said, chasing after him.
Dean walked into the kitchen and started to unpack the groceries from the bag but you stopped him in the middle of it.
“Dean…hey, I’m sorry baby. I’m sorry.” You said, snaking your arms around his neck.
He still looked pretty irritated and he didn’t really want to look you in the eyes. You felt a little bad for poking fun at him but it really was supposed to be all in good fun.
“You finished?” He snapped, finally meeting your gaze.
Lightly scraping his scalp, you said softly, “Yes, I’m done. Aaaaaand I’m sorry but I can honestly say that this was not on my list of things you would be doing when I got home today, baby. It had been on my mind all day, actually.”
Confused, he looked down at you and asked, “Well…what did you think I was doin’? You didn’t think I’d ACTUALLY invite strippers over, did you?”
“No! Well…I dunno. You just kept asking how long I was gonna be gone for and really making sure so I…I didn’t know what to think. It’s stupid and my friends reminded me that you kinda like me and I have no reason not to trust you.” You said with a shy smile.
“You know I love you more than anything. I’d never do anything to hurt you, sweetheart. Not on purpose, anyway.” Said Dean in a soft tone. “And they’re right…I do kinda like you. I love you.”
Dean gave you a wink and inched his face closer until his lips found yours. He parted your lips with his tongue, slowly pushing past your teeth so it could tangle with yours and so he could savor the taste of you, which caused you to let out a quiet whine.
He knew what he was doing to you.
Before you knew what was happening, his hands were suddenly under your ass as he lifted you off your feet and gently set you down on the counter.
You pulled away to look at his handsome face, his muted green eyes and the sprinkling of freckles across his nose…you still couldn’t believe he was all yours, and you also loved him more than anything.
“I love you too, Dean...” You said with a warm smile, lightly brushing his cheeks with your thumbs.
You knew you shouldn’t, but you had to mess with him one more time.
“Your pores look smaller too, baby.” You said playfully examining his nose, followed by a soft giggle.
“Oh you think you’re sooooooo funny, don’t you.” Dean replied, reaching for your ticklish spots at your sides.
His hands were too fast for you but you tried to deflect them anyway.
“Dean!! C’mon, you know how ticklish I am!” You exclaimed. “Ok! Ok! I won’t say anything anymore about it.”
Dean stopped and glared at you because he knew you had something else to say.
“I won’t say anything about it for five minutes.” You said, followed by a maniacal laugh.
With his strong hands resting on your thighs, Dean’s lips once again collided with yours as you cupped his cheeks while his hands traveled from your thighs to your butt, which caused you to smile and hum against his lips.
“Sweetheart? Can I ask you somethin’?” Asked Dean.
Placing quick kisses on his cheeks, you replied, “Sure handsome, what is it?”
“I just wanna make sure I heard you right…Did you say banana cream pie?” He asked, holding up one finger.
Purring into his ear, you replied, “Yes I did.”
He let out a low guttural moan and swallowed hard, followed by a shy smile.
“I thought that’s what you said. Can you make it soon? Please?” He asked softly, placing gentle kisses along your jawline.
Snaking your arms around his neck again, you replied, “Tell ya what…since the pie has to chill in the fridge for awhile, I will help you finish your skincare routine. I’ll do it with you, ok?”
Hesitant at first, Dean waited for you to start laughing again but you didn’t. You just gave him a warm smile and another quick kiss on the lips.
“You’re not messin’ with me?” He quipped.
Shaking your head, you replied, “Nah…not this time, baby. I’ll help you…use my gentle touch.”
“Well, you do have a gentle touch, sweetheart.” He said with a wink.
Jumping off the counter, you said excitedly, “I’ll start on that pie now, baby.”
With the look of an excited child on Christmas morning, he lightly tapped you on the ass and impatiently waited as you started to get out all the ingredients for the pie.
He couldn’t wait and neither could you.

You spent the evening sitting on Dean’s lap, talking, laughing, and showing him the rest of a skincare routine he would probably never do again. But he also allowed you to massage his face, gently press serum and moisturizer into his skin while he sat there looking like he almost enjoyed it.
He didn’t have any worries about monsters, angels, demons, heaven or hell…not anymore.
Dean was relaxed and content, which were two things that had eluded him for his entire life. You were convinced that as long as he was happy, he would let you do whatever you wanted, including him with skincare. He’d gladly let it happen and he’d do it with a smile.
There was a reason he was so happy and it wasn’t just that he wasn’t hunting anymore or even that there was a banana cream pie chilling in the fridge just for him. It was the fact that he had a relatively normal life…and he had you to thank for that.
You showed him that he was good enough and that’s all he had ever wanted. He finally grabbed onto it and he was never going to let it go.

The kids were asleep, your company had gone home, and the dishwasher had completed its cycle. The house was finally completely silent.
After your shower, you went looking for Billy. Since he wasn’t in your bedroom, you knew there was a pretty good chance that he was in his art studio. You noticed a warm light coming from the next room as you tiptoed into the doorway. Leaning against the doorframe as you tended to do when you tried to sneak up on him, always failing miserably, you saw he was just staring at something that you couldn’t quite make out.
“Always tryin’ to sneak up on me, huh sweet girl?” He asked softly.
You smiled and replied, “Maybe I’ll get you one day.”
“Not likely, baby. But I’m not gonna stop you from tryin’.” Said Billy.
“Whatcha lookin’ at, handsome?” You asked, wrapping your arms around his torso.
Billy reached out and pulled the picture off the wall. It was one of the first art projects Anna had done at daycare. It was two upside down hand prints and above them, it said “Best Daddy, Hands Down.”
“Remember this?” Billy asked with a slight smile.
Your lips curled into a smile.
“Awww, your first homemade Father’s Day present.” You replied. “She was so excited to give it to you. I think she was two.”
“Never thought I’d ever become a father.” Whispered Billy.
It wasn’t that long ago that your husband was just your tattoo artist and friend. Now, several years and two kids later, he was still adjusting to the fact that he was a husband and he now had two smaller pieces of him that he was trying his hardest to be a good father to.
“Tomorrow will be your first father’s day with TWO kids. I know Dylan made you something at daycare and Little Raven showed me what she made for you in preschool.” You said, clasping your hands together behind Billy’s neck.
Billy touched his forehead to yours. It was always such a comfort for him when he did because it made him feel safe and it was a sign of trust between the two of you. Gently, he pressed his lips to yours and snaked his hands around your waist, pulling you flush to his body as the warmth radiated through his black t-shirt against your soft skin.
“I love you.” Said Billy in a hushed tone.
Your lips curled into a warm smile and replied, “I love you too, baby.”
Billy’s dark chocolate eyes looked worrisome.
“Am I a good father, sweet girl?” He asked with a slight hitch in his voice.
You delicately raked your nails against his scalp as he relaxed his shoulders and rested his hands on your hips.
“Of course you are, Billy. I know Dylan is still really young but both of the kids are always so happy to see you when you come home from work. No matter how tired you are, you never brush them off. You sit and draw with Anna or watch a movie with her, you make funny noises to try and make Dylan laugh. They love you, baby. You’re a great dad.” You replied, brushing his beard with your thumb.
A shy smile stretched across Billy’s lips. He’d never admit it but he loved the praise you gave him, loved to hear that he was doing a good job, and that you and the kids just adored him. His smile was all of the admission you needed to see.
“I think I’m ready for bed now, beautiful.” Said Billy with a wink.
You knew what that meant.
“Race ya, lieutenant!” You exclaimed.
As you turned to run out of the room, Billy hip checked you to get out of the room first and make it to your bedroom before you could even get out of his studio.
He was sitting on the edge of the bed when you walked in with a slight scowl on your face. Billy was hyper competitive and he’d never, under any circumstances, let anyone win, not even his four-year-old daughter. So he definitely wasn’t going to let you win a foot race to the bedroom.
Glaring at him, pointing one finger in the air, you rhetorically asked him, “Did you just HIP CHECK me, Mr. Russo?”
“Well, you would have won if I didn’t.” He said, flashing you that million-dollar smile and inching up toward the middle of the bed.
“Oh you are sooooooo lucky you’re cute, my love.” You replied, straddling him.
Billy’s hands immediately traveled to your ass, as he gently nipped along your jaw and down the sides of your neck. He mapped the rest of your body with his talented fingers, sending sharp tingles down your spine as he grazed the soft skin of your lower back.
“You know I can’t just LET you win, sweet girl. Can I make it up to you?” He asked, as he pressed his lips against the sculpted hollow of your throat.
“I’m listening…how?” You asked, pushing his hair back that had tumbled into his eyes.
His lips collided with yours, parting them with his tongue to tangle with yours as he rolled until you were underneath him and his hips were pressed firmly against you.
“What if I hip check you in a different way?” He asked, gently thrusting his hips against you.
Billy’s hardening length pressed against your core as he peppered gentle kisses down your neck. A wet spot immediately formed on your panties and his hand traveled along your outer thigh while goosebumps erupted across your exposed skin.
His lips were suddenly on yours again.
Smiling against his lips, you said, “I suppose I can allow that. I love you, Billy.”
The corners of his mouth curled into a warm smile as Billy replied, “I love you too, my little firecracker.”
And with another kiss, he covered your body with his own.
**********
While putting Anna to bed last night, you reminded her that the next day was Father’s Day and that you all should do something special for Billy to which she suggested making him breakfast. Little Raven had always been an early riser so when she woke up the next morning, she quietly crept into your bedroom to wake you up, being very careful not to wake her father.
A lot of children were very heavy on their feet even just walking but not Anna. Like her father, she was very light on her feet and she was up even before Dylan. It was very early but it was the perfect time to start breakfast.
“Coffee is the most important part, right Mommy?” She asked, pointing at the coffee maker.
She learned that from her dad.
“Did Daddy tell you that, Little Raven?” You asked with a slight smile, picking up the stepstool and placing it on the floor next to the counter.
Anna answered, “Daddy said if you don’t have it, you a bear.”
She flashed a sly smile at you like she was getting away with saying something bad.
You couldn’t help but chuckle because he wasn’t wrong but he was just as bad with needing a caffeine boost every morning so you made sure that coffee was the first thing you prepared. Of course you let Little Raven push the button.
“Well, Daddy isn’t wrong. Mommy does love her coffee but so does Daddy. Breakfast is gonna taste extra yummy because you helped me make it. You ready?” You asked.
Anna squealed with excitement and clapped her hands.
“Ready, Mommy!”
Placing your finger in front of your lips, you said, “Sssshhhh, let’s try and keep quiet so Daddy and Dylan can sleep some more, ok?”
Little Raven whispered back with a big smile, “Ok, Mommy.”
Even when Anna could barely walk, she always wanted to help you with whatever you were doing so she was very excited to help make her dad his Father’s Day breakfast.
She helped you line up the bacon on the baking sheet, getting it ready to bake in the oven. She sprayed water everywhere after you showed her how to rinse the strawberries and then she wanted to make pancakes.
“Daddy likes pancakes. Look how big this one is, Mommy!” She said excitedly.
“Yes, that is a big one, isn’t it. See how the bubbles are popping right there? That’s how you know it’s time to flip it, ready?” You asked, guiding the spatula in her little hands, getting ready to turn it over.
“Ready!” Said Anna.
“Aaaaaaand….Ta-da! Good job, baby girl!” You said with praise.
She was so excited.
“I did it!” Shouted Anna.
Just as you added the pancake to the pile, Billy walked into the kitchen carrying Dylan.
“What’s goin’ on in here?” Asked Billy with a wide smile.
Anna’s face lit up, her smile stretched from ear to ear as she took off running toward her dad. Grabbing onto his leg, she squeezed him tightly.
“HI DADDY!!” She said, her tiny voice was full of excitement.
You took Dylan so Billy could pick up Anna.
“Hey, little miss. What are you and Mommy doin’?” Billy asked, kissing Anna on the forehead.
“Remember what we practiced this morning, Little Raven?” You asked.
She nodded and you both said simultaneously, “HAPPY FATHER’S DAY, DADDY!”
“Me and Mommy made you breffast!” Said Anna.
Billy’s lips curled into a wide smile as he replied, “It smells sooooo good, baby. Did you make coffee too?”
“I pushed the button! Don’t worry, Mommy had some.” She said, then loudly whispered into Billy’s ear, “She’s not a bear.”
You and Billy got a good laugh out of that one.
“Yes, thank you for telling our child that I can be a bit grouchy without my coffee, baby. I appreciate that.” You said.
Billy inched closer to you, “I’ll take it back if you can tell me it’s not true.”
“Well I can’t do that but neither can you, handsome.” You said, kissing him on the cheek as the bristles of his beard tickled your lips.
“Very true, my love.” He said with a wink.
Anna eagerly asked, “You ready to eat, Daddy?”
“I am, little miss. I’m starving.” Replied Billy, placing her back onto the floor.
Watching Billy eat breakfast with his children warmed your heart, made you smile, and even had you laughing at times. Anna tried sneaking pieces of bacon off of her father’s plate while Billy was feeding Dylan his scrambled eggs which he was still very skeptical of but reluctantly ate them anyway.
With a lot of help from his daycare teachers, Dylan made Billy a picture. It was his hand print made into a fish with a fishing pole next to it that said “Hooked on Daddy.” At the bottom was his name and the date.
Billy’s present from Anna was a rock that she painted and her teachers helped her paint “Dad Rocks” on it. On the other side was her name and the date.
He loved his gifts and Anna loved giving him his present. The innocence and pure joy in her eyes that were just like her father’s was a memory that would stay with you forever. You were both trying very hard to be good parents to your children because you and Billy knew what it was like to have mothers that didn’t deserve to be celebrated in any way.
They were both selfish and had abandoned their children because you weighed them down in one way or another and you never ever wanted to do that to your own children. You didn’t ever want them to know what that feels like, how it stays with you no matter how much you say you’ve moved on, and how it still hurts when you think about what they did to you.
You didn’t want that for them.
“You like your breffast, Daddy?” Asked Little Raven.
Billy answered with a smile, “I do, baby. You and Mommy did such a good job and thank you for my rock.”
“You rock, Daddy.” She said, flashing her father’s smile right back at him.
Billy was speechless. The praise you gave him yesterday was reinforced by his eldest child, the one who made him a father, his little girl.
“Thank you, baby girl.” He replied with a hitch in his voice.
Anna turned to you and asked, “I go color now, Mommy?”
“Yes, baby. You can go color. Wipe your hands first.” You replied.
You gave Billy a sly smile, a smile that silently said “I told you so.”
“I know that look, sweet girl. Go ahead, say it.” Said Billy.
Dylan was still in his high chair when you moved over to sit in Billy’s lap.
“I told you that you were a good dad. You believe me now, handsome?” You asked, gently pressing your lips to his.
Billy returned your kiss, tangling his fingers in your hair, and he smiled against your lips. As you raked your fingers against his scalp, he relaxed his shoulders and buried his head like a cat into where your neck meets your shoulder.
“Maybe a little.” Said Billy.
You questioned, “A little? Your daughter just told you that you rock and you got our little man to eat all of his eggs today. Most of the time, I can’t get him to do that. So you should believe me, my love…and believe your kids.”
Billy was quiet, at a loss for words, and thinking about what he wanted to say.
“We’re not like them are we, sweet girl.” He said in a relieved tone.
And by “them,” you knew who he was referring to.
Your mother had abandoned you in a similar yet different way than Billy’s. She left you and your brother to be raised by your father and started a new family with a new husband and a new baby. Even though your relationship was better today, that feeling of loneliness or “why wasn’t I enough,” was always there and always would be there.
You and Billy weren’t perfect parents, no one is. You’ve made mistakes but you wanted to be better than they were to you. And your children were proof that you were doing a pretty good job so far.
They were happy.
You replied with a warm smile, “No we’re not, baby. We’re nothing like them.”

Billy loved to watch you work.
The way your delicate yet capable fingers firmly gripped the gun in your hand, the muzzle of your weapon pressed securely to the woman’s temple, and how you held your love’s gaze while simultaneously hissing into your prisoner’s ear were all such a turn on for him.
Slowly, Billy leaned over to place his hands on his knees, his rich coffee colored eyes shined like polished obsidian as a devilish smile stretched across his lips and he winked at you before speaking softly yet very directly at your captive.
“My wife is waiting for you to answer her questions. She’s a lot more patient than she should be so I suggest you answer her before I start cutting your fingers off.” Growled Billy.
Billy tilted the woman’s chin up with his ka-bar so he could look her in the eyes but your prisoner kept her eyes aimed at the dirty cement floor, she had a frightened look on her face and her breathing was shallow. Small beads of sweat had gathered on her forehead as the blade gently scratched along the smooth skin of the woman’s jaw.
The friction between the blade and your prisoner’s face made a soft grating noise that would make probably anyone else’s skin erupt with goosebumps but not yours. For you, it caused your lips to curl into a sinister smile to match Billy’s.
You were enjoying this but your patience was starting to wear thin.
**********
Billy is extremely handsome, very charming and you were smitten with him from the moment you stepped into that room full of possible new recruits at Anvil and by the look on his face, he was infatuated with you too.
He would purposely watch you train to see if you were as impressive as your resume said you were. Your opponents during training never heard you coming because of how light you were on your feet, just like Billy and he was quite impressed with your fighting skills although the job you were coming from didn’t really require much hand to hand combat but you took advantage of every opportunity you could to make yourself a more well-rounded Homeland Security Agent.
You had hoped your job as a counterintelligence agent at DHS would prove to be a great asset to Billy and his company if he decided to hire you. Billy secretly, only at first, loved how intelligent you were and he hated to admit that you were smarter than him but you hoped it would work to his and your advantage when it came to working for Anvil.
Billy wanted to hire you regardless of how he felt about you, how he told himself it was a bad idea although you were too good for him to just let you go back to your old job. He had a difficult time trying to figure out how to tell you working for him wasn’t going to work out or even tell you why he really shouldn’t hire you.
You knew better too. How could you work for someone who you were deeply attracted to, someone who was just as impressive personally as he was professionally, and made your stomach flutter equally as much with a smile as he did with an evil growl.
“Thank you for coming in, Miss y/l/n and for the time you spent training here and out in the field, letting me observe you to see what you’re capable of. I’m just not sure Anvil is the right place for you.” He had said, in a slightly disappointing tone.
You inched a little closer to him, closing the gap between your bodies. Billy’s office door was closed and locked so you didn’t have to worry about saying anything that others could hear.
“I’m sorry to hear that, Mr. Russo. Could you tell me why?” You asked.
Your hands began to shake slightly as you waited for an answer.
“I’d rather n-not say. It’s a little embarrassing.” He replied.
Again, you inched closer until you were sharing the same air.
You asked, “Is it because you’re attracted to me?”
You quickly glanced down at the floor because you didn’t want him to see you blush before meeting his gaze once again.
“Because you can’t possibly be attracted to me as much as I’m attracted to you. Everything you do turns me on from watching you shoot, to one on one hand to hand combat.” You said, reluctantly.
Billy started to say, “Miss y/l/n, I—“
“And I see something in you and you can tell me to go to hell, tell me that I’m wrong but I can see that you love your work, but you also love hurting people that have done harm to others, it gets inside you…lights you up. I know that feeling well because I have it too. I could be an asset to Anvil and…to you.” You purred.
Your breath abandoned your mouth with a sharp exhale when you finally came clean about your feelings for Billy. A wave of penetrating desire coursed through your body as your mouth went dry waiting for him to say something…anything.
There was only a breath of room between your bodies as Billy’s mouth tipped up into half a smile and you waited for anything that could ease the dryness of your mouth.
He suddenly covered your mouth with his own, you choked on your need for him as he growled against your lips, parting them with his tongue, slipping it in between your teeth to tangle with yours.
This was so much better than in your dreams.
As you snaked your arms around his neck, Billy pulled you flush to his body, his strong, agile fingers digging into your hips before wrapping tightly around your back. Gently tugging on his raven colored hair, your kisses became more aggressive, all tongue and teeth with Billy matching your energy, softly growling against your mouth and gently wrapping his hand around your throat like a necklace.
He peppered kisses up and down the sculpted hollow of your throat and along the sides of your neck while shudders of exquisite electricity shot along your spine.
“I understand, Mr. Russo. Thank you for giving me an opportunity to train with you here.” You purred into his ear while tightly embracing him.
Cupping your cheeks, Billy replied in a harsh whisper, “You’re not wrong, y/n. I do enjoy it, the hunt…the kill, and the clandestine nature of it all. I could teach you so much more than you already know. You have a hunger for it too, don’t you.”
He paused. His presence was firm, comforting, almost protective in a way but it wasn’t easy for Billy to say how he was feeling and you could feel the warmth from his body through his sharp white dress shirt.
“For the people who need to pay for their crimes, yes Mr. Russo. I crave it.” You admitted.
Billy licked his bottom lip, his mouth curled into a sly smile, and with his dark chocolate eyes locked onto yours, he asked, “Will you have dinner with me? Maybe we can figure something out.”
You kissed him hard as your fingers glided through his dark brown hair.
With a half-smile, you replied, “I’d love to.”
**********
You kept your job with DHS until you and Billy got married which is when he brought you aboard at Anvil so you were coordinating your own contractor teams by day but at night it was just you and your husband against a world that didn’t want you to succeed and against a system that didn’t always get it right.
Billy was so turned on watching you do what you do best and you did it even better now with him as your instructor. Now, you were even more proficient in long range shooting, definitely much better with a ka-bar, and it was the same when you watched him be the perfect soldier that he was.
Billy did have one blemish on his perfect record that he wore proudly. He formed an attachment, he fell for you, and you fell for him…hard. Your relationship was nothing short of intense but you brought out the best in him and a side of him that he only allowed you to see.
You had enough patience for the both of you and it was put to good use when he would emotionally shut down or had a hard time expressing how he felt. It was one of the ways that set you apart from Billy and what made him fall in love with you.
You were the same but different and there wasn’t anything you wouldn’t do for your husband which included killing anyone that wanted to take him away from you.
**********
She came for Billy after hours, after everyone had gone home for the night. She somehow knew he stayed late sometimes to finish paperwork but she wasn’t as light on her feet like she thought she was. She thought the soft warm glow coming from the lamp in Billy’s office would lead her straight to him but instead, it led her to the other Russo.
If you had gone home a few minutes earlier, you probably would have missed her altogether. Instead, while packing up for the night, you heard footsteps coming toward Billy’s office so you quickly hid behind the door with your weapon out.
Being careful not to breathe and with your heart racing and beating loudly in your ears, the door opened and slowly the muzzle of a gun appeared from behind the door.
Calmly and firmly, you said, “Don’t you move or I’ll fuckin’ kill ya. Drop it…NOW!”
“This is none of your business. I’m lookin’ for Billy Russo.” She said.
You replied, “Well, Billy Russo is my husband so you have made it my business and I said…DROP IT.”
Her gun fell to the floor, you kicked it away, and told her to put her hands behind her back.
Underneath Anvil's main floors was a sublevel bunker which is where you took her and it was a place where no one would be able to hear her if she called for help. As you zip-tied her hands and feet to a chair, you gave her every opportunity to say why she was coming to try and kill Billy and who sent her but she was staying quiet.
Resting your gun just under her chin, you whispered, “You don’t wanna talk to me, huh? You sure about that, darlin’ because I’m about to make a phone call, the result of which will be a lot worse for you than if you just talk to me.”
She remained silent.
“Ok…have it your way.” You said with a devilish grin.
You pressed the call button and held your phone to your ear. He answered on the first ring.
“Hey beautiful, you ok? I thought you were meeting me at home after you were done?” Said Billy in a concerned tone.
You replied, “I know my love but something came up and I need your help. We have a bit of a rodent problem and I’m afraid there might be more than the one I found.”
“On my way. You’re at the office?” Asked Billy.
It was quiet on both ends for a minute before you replied, “Actually, I need you to meet me at our spot.”
Billy knew exactly what that meant.
“Just let me change clothes, I’ll be there in 15. You’re ok, right? You’re not hurt?” He asked.
Crouched down in front of your prisoner, your lips curled into a wide smile and as you looked directly into her eyes, you replied, “I’m fine, handsome…just fine.”
**********
Billy charged through the door, dressed in black jeans, boots and a green Henley waffle knit shirt, gun drawn, relieved to see you were actually alright and you didn’t just say you were over the phone.
He put his gun away, cupped both of your cheeks as his lips crashed onto yours, kissing you like he hadn’t seen you in a week.
When you were finally able to come up for air, you said in a comforting tone, “I’m alright, baby. I’m alright.” You turned toward your prisoner, “This one however, is not. She won’t talk, my love.”
“Well, we’ll have to fix that, won’t we sweet girl.” Said Billy in his signature silvery tone along with a Cheshire cat smile. “You made her bleed gooooood, baby. Still wouldn’t talk, huh?”
Biting down on your lower lip, you shook your head as you crept up behind her, leaned down and softly in her ear, you replied, “Nope.” You emphasized the P.
“Ya know, I asked the basics, ‘who are you?’ ‘Why are you here?’ ‘Who sent you?’ But yeah, I guess she’d rather get punched in the face than answer me.” You hissed.
“Did you tell her what would happen if she didn’t talk?” Asked Billy.
With an excited smile, you replied, “I figured you could do that part, baby. I know you really like it.”
Your prisoner’s lip began to quiver as your warm breath brushed against the shell of her ear, “You’re gonna love this, darlin’. Go ahead, Billy. Tell her.”
Billy removed his ka-bar from the sheath, the incredibly sharp tip was pointed directly at her throat as she swallowed hard and tears formed in her bright blue eyes.
“My wife is waiting for you to answer her questions. She’s a lot more patient than she should be so I suggest you answer her before I start cutting your fingers off.”
The sinful noise that escaped your lips after hearing Billy utter those words had you clenching your thighs together. His soft yet commanding tone resonated throughout your whole body and you weren’t even ashamed that he could probably make you come just by saying things like that.
With your lips pressed against her cheek and your teeth grazing her skin, you practically moaned in her ear, “He makes me so wet when he talks like that. Tell ya what…we’ll make it a little easier on ya. We’ll ask you a couple ‘yes’ or ‘no’ questions and if we believe you, we’ll let you keep your tongue.”
Looking over at Billy, you asked, “What should we ask her first, my love?”
“Do you think my wife looks pretty tonight?” Asked Billy.
With a slight eye roll, you started to say, “Billy…”
“I think she looks beautiful, don’t you?” Billy asked again with a sly grin.
“Focus baby, she came to try and kill you, ya know.” You said.
Billy’s grin disappeared as he asked, “Did Fisk send you?”
The tears that had welled up in her eyes finally fell and left tracks down her cheeks as Billy moved his ka-bar from her throat to her fingers that were grasping the arms of the chair.
Her chest nervously expanded and contracted with each shallow breath, the mascara mixed together with her tears, leaving black marks underneath her eyes every time she blinked.
You purposely didn’t cover her mouth so she could be a little more relaxed and free to answer your questions without tape getting in the way but she just aggressively shook her head.
“He’ll know if you’re lying to him. Is that your final answer?” You asked as the blade grazed the skin of her finger.
She finally spoke, “Yes! I promise it wasn’t Fisk!”
Billy went down a laundry list of names he thought could have hired her as there were quite a few that didn’t appreciate you and Billy interfering in their “businesses” and trying to keep crime in the city at a minimum.
“Alright, that’s enough ‘yes’ or ‘no’ questions. Tell me now!” Growled Billy.
Through shallow breathing, the woman picked her head up and pleaded, “I can’t! He’ll kill me!”
“I don’t think you’ll have to worry about that because I’ll kill you before anyone else can!” Billy hissed in her face. “I will not ask again!”
“Come on, sweetheart. Just give us the name. My husband hasn’t even begun to torture you yet and believe me when I say that you’ll wish I just shot and killed you compared to what he’ll do to you.”
He positioned the blade at the base of her trigger finger.
“I really can’t, Mr. Russo! PLEASE!” She begged.
Without another warning, Billy’s ka-bar cut through her finger like a hot knife through butter. He barely needed to push down before she cried out in pain and before he moved onto the next finger, she was ready to talk.
“RAWLINS!! It was Rawlins.” She confessed as a fresh sob tore through her chest.
From behind, you purred into her ear, “See, that wasn’t so hard was it? Rawlins has no use for you now that your trigger finger is gone.”
After you kissed her on the cheek, you walked over to Billy and looked up at him through your long dark lashes. He traced the outside of his lips with his thumb and forefinger and folded his arms across his chest, thinking about what he wanted to do next.
“That piece of shit, been trying to get me to do his dirty work for him for a long time and I always tell him no. He thinks that because he’s government that he can just get anyone to do what he wants.” Said Billy.
He touched the blade to the middle finger and said, “You’re not the only one, are you. Tell me now!”
She shook her head while uttering, “No…no I’m not. He sent one for her too…to your penthouse.”
Billy’s eyes darkened, the muscles in his jaw tightened, and through gnashed teeth he hissed, “He sent someone after my wife?”
Before she could answer, Billy pulled his gun and shot her directly in the forehead.
Billy promised he would never let anything happen to you, that he would do whatever it took to keep you safe because you were the only thing that mattered to him. The world could burn down all around him and as long as he had you, it was alright.
If someone was threatening him, he could handle that, he was used to it but if someone was coming after you then they were going to die and their body will never be found. You knew that. Billy Russo does not bluff.
He was laser focused, to the point where he didn’t even hear you talking to him.
“BILLY!!” You shouted, finally getting his attention.
He stopped and as he rolled his shoulder, he gave you a look that you’ve never seen before. Rage scorched behind his liquid brown eyes as he wrestled with the thought of someone hurting you or taking you away from him…and he was terrified.
“No one’s taking you away from me, especially not that fuckin’ coward. He’s a fuckin’ dead man and anyone else that’s working for him. They’re all dead. I want you to stay here. I’ll get Frankie to come help you clean this up.” He said calmly.
He wanted you to stay here? That wasn’t going to happen.
Billy threw on his black leather jacket and tried to leave but you stopped him by pulling on his shirt.
“Whoa, whoa soldier! Where do you think you’re going?” You asked in a commanding tone.
“I need him dead and I’m the one who’s gonna kill him, baby.” Replied Billy.
You pulled him in close, gripping his shirt tightly so he knew you weren’t going to let him go without a fight. Your hands traveled up to cup his cheeks and as you brushed his beard with your thumbs, you said, “Oh not without me, you’re not!”
“I don’t have time to argue with you, sweet girl.” Said Billy.
You stopped him long enough to help him focus his gaze on yours.
“Baby, look at me.” You demanded.
“I’m not gonna lose you, my love. You’ll be safe here.” Billy said.
He wasn’t even thinking about himself. What about the fact that they threatened to take away the love of your life too, and how you were also trying to hold in the rage you felt toward Rawlins.
Billy was the one person you could be your true self around and who didn’t judge you for thinking that people who did the most horrific crimes should have to pay for them…with their lives. You wanted Rawlins to suffer, you wanted him to be in pain, and you wanted him to be killed slowly and very intimately.
You wanted to be with Billy when he confronted him and the world would be a better place by making sure Rawlins couldn’t hurt anyone else ever again.
“I’m not gonna lose you either but you said we would do things together, that we were a team, and that you trusted me with your life and your heart. I told you that you don’t have to be alone anymore so let’s do this together…please?” You begged.
You were using his own words against him which was a little unfair but it was working. Billy relaxed his shoulders as he let out a long exhale and gently touched his forehead to yours. He was so accustomed to being alone in every aspect of his life that he needed constant reminding that you were there to help him.
Billy couldn’t remember a time in his life where he wasn’t inside a constricting vice of loneliness, squeezing his heart just enough to keep him in an endless state of pain.
As a child, Billy’s innocence and light had been overshadowed and replaced by a darkness that others might have never returned from. There is only so much a person can take before they break but he never did and no one would have blamed him if he did.
Billy worked hard, first as a soldier then as a CEO. Building a business from the ground up was not easy and to do it without shortcuts or owing anyone favors was even more difficult but he accomplished what he set out to do and you were just the cherry on top.
He finally found someone that he could just be himself around, just like he was for you, who let him open up when he was ready and he knew the love and support you gave him would never change which is why he always wanted you to stay safe. You were it for him. There was no one else.
Billy cupped your cheeks as hell burned behind his doll-like eyes. He had the look of a man that had been pushed into a corner, would fight like hell to get out, and no one would get out alive.
“You sure you’re ready for this, baby? They’re powerful people, playing the most dangerous game.” He asked before firmly pressing his lips to yours.
“They sent someone to try and take you from me, my love. There’s nothing I want more than to watch them take their last breath.” You hissed, matching his anger with bitterness in your voice. “I love you, Billy.”
Billy pulled you in until you were flushed against his chest, his long arms wrapped tightly around you as you listened to his heart beating rapidly against his chest. It almost felt like it was going to explode but after only a minute, it slowed to normal and it helped you to relax in his embrace.
You stood there in silence with the basement lights flickering overhead, you felt a smile stretch across Billy’s lips as he gently kissed your forehead and said with a wink, “I love you too. Let’s go huntin’, sweet girl.”
This wasn’t a hunt for sport but, like the one tied to the chair, other vicious wild animals will be dead later tonight. Hopefully they’re fast runners.
If you’d like to be added to (or removed from) my tag list for the ever so handsome Billy Russo, just let me know and thank you again for reading! 💕💕💕 If I tagged you but didn’t want to be, just let me know and I’ll never do it again
You nailed it, love. I absolutely loved this. The way they worked together, and the dialogue was *chefs kiss* she’s as much as a badass as Billy. I always got the feeling Billy liked strong woman, mostly because of his admiration of Madani. Great work, my friend. 💜

Pairing: Dean Winchester x F! Hunter Reader
Warnings: Very fluffy, tiny bit smexy but mostly PG-13, maybe a swear word or two.
Word Count: 1.4K-ish
Summary: Dean doesn’t sleep much so he wakes you up at 4 am for…cereal(gotcha🤣)
A/N: This is the same pairing as Between a Rock and a Hard Place and Truce. I found this prompt from a blog called @otp-fanfic-ideas . And when she asks why he woke her up for that, his response is “I just wanted a reason to be with you, is all.” I changed it juuuuuust a hair to fit the story a little better. I think it came out cute so I hope you like it!
As always, thank you for reading! I appreciate it so much and comments, reblogs are welcome and encouraged. Don’t be shy to tell me your favorite part. 💕💕 💕
Four hours.
That’s all the sleep Dean said he needed. After that, he ran on caffeine and various forms of meat with sweet slices of pie sprinkled in between.
Most mornings you couldn’t get near him before he had his coffee. With his lips pressed firmly together in a straight line, he’d slowly shake his head if you or Sam tried to approach him or even say “good morning.” He’s lucky he’s handsome. It was the only way he could get away with ignoring your piercing narrow stare as he took that first sip.
This morning was different though. The two of you had gone to bed earlier than usual, around midnight, and since he only needed four hours of sleep, he was awake at the ungodly hour of 4 AM.
You were sleeping hard when you thought you felt him shift. Spooned up behind you, Dean’s strong hand traveled up your bare thigh and underneath your night shirt which was just one of his old t-shirts.
Firmly pressing his fingers into your hip, Dean pulled your body flush with his, the soft fabric of his pajama pants touched the back of your legs as he gently pressed his lips to the side of your neck causing goosebumps to pepper across your skin.
As your lips slowly curled into a wide smile, your eyes fluttered open as you glanced at the bedside clock which read 04:05. Again, he’s so lucky he’s handsome.
Rolling onto your back, you reached for him and let your fingers glide through his light brown hair as his lips searched for yours in the gathering darkness.
Whispering against his mouth, you said, “Mmmm…Dean. What are you doing, baby? It’s 4 in the morning.”
Dean’s hands were roaming, mapping your body when his lips found yours, parting them with his tongue as he slipped it in between your teeth to entwine with yours. He nestled in between your legs, his hard cock pressed against your core as he continued to kiss you…hard. Each one waking you from your deep slumber more and more.
Dean replied, trying to be funny, “Mornin’ sweetheart, I just remembered there’s a new box of Cap’n Crunch in the kitchen…with Crunchberries. I want some.”
Even though the room was dark, you could tell he had a wide smile stretched across his lips.
Cereal. He woke you up because he wanted cereal?!
You were trying to not get mad but the reason you went to bed earlier than normal last night was because you were exhausted from being away from the bunker for a handful of days on a hunt and you didn’t sleep well away from home.
You were used to calling the bunker, “home” now so sleeping in a foreign bed was anything but comfortable. And Dean decided to wake you up at 4 in the morning to tell you that he wanted a bowl of cereal?!
You could strangle him.
“Soooooo why are you telling me this? If you want cereal, Dean, just get up and get some. You didn’t need to wake me up for that, I’m tired, baby. You know I don’t sleep well when we’re away.” You said in a grouchy tone as you adjusted your pillow underneath your head.
Maybe you were a little harsh. Unlike Dean, you needed more than four hours of sleep and after not sleeping for five days, you were ready to finally get a decent night’s sleep. But now after only four hours, you were wide awake and slightly agitated.
You felt bad for snapping at him and maybe you would have been less angry with him if he had continued to kiss you or if he woke you up to do other things, not to tell you that he wanted breakfast.
Stiff with disappointment, Dean replied, “I just…wanted another reason to be with you, is all. Sam is definitely still sleeping so it would have been just you and me having an early breakfast together. We haven’t been alone in days, you passed out hard last night…I—Ya know what, go back to sleep, sweetheart. I shouldn’t have—I’m sorry I woke you up.”
Well that stung and you’ve never felt like more of an asshole than you did right at that moment. Dean just wanted to be alone with you and enjoy a very early morning bowl of cereal.
It was really kind of sweet.
He was hurt. You could hear it in his voice and as much as the man made you crazy, you didn’t mean to snap at him like that.
He turned onto his side, facing away from you, and every muscle in his body was tense. You didn’t even need to touch him to know that. The tension radiated off of his body and a knot formed in your chest as you tried to figure out the right words to say.
An apology would probably be the best place to start.
“Dean? Baby, I’m sorry.” You said, gently touching his shoulder. “I’m sorry I snapped at you. I know I’m a little cranky when I haven’t slept.”
“A little?” Snapped Dean.
“I am trying to apologize, baby. You should just let it happen.” You said firmly.
Dean rolled over to his other side so he could face you.
He replied, “Ok, you may continue.”
Draping his arm over your hip, he pulled you closer and with a breath of room between you, Dean gently tapped his nose to yours. A sly smug grin stretched across his lips as your eyes were now adjusted to the darkness of the room.
“You don’t have to be so smug about it, ya know.” You said.
With a slight growl, he replied, “Hey, this doesn’t happen often so I wanna get the whole experience.”
Raking your nails against his scalp, you softly said, “I’m sorry, baby. I’d love to have some cereal with you.” You inched your face closer to his and pressed your lips to his before saying, “Ya know I actually thought you were waking me up for something else. You said yourself that we haven’t really been alone in days.”
Your eyelids were warm with his breath as you snaked your arms around his neck and pulled him on top of you. Dean kissed you again with more insistence. Parting your lips with his tongue, he firmly pressed his hips against yours, bearing down harder against your core with his hardening length while strangled moans and whimpers escaped your lips.
“So what you’re saying is you’d like to work up an appetite.” Said Dean.
You purred into his ear, “Yes, baby. That’s what I’m saying.”
Before removing your night shirt, Dean said lightheartedly, “Good, I was worried you were just trying to distract me because you ate all of my crunch berries or something, yaknow like when you ate the last doughnut.”
“Really Dean? There were six doughnuts in that box and you ate FIVE of them. I only wanted ONE.” You replied.
He snapped back, “And I told you they only put them out once a year!”
“Will you give it a rest about the stupid doughnuts! I bought you a new box and you don’t have to worry, I left your cereal alone.” You said.
Dean always knows which buttons to push and just loves to watch your squirm.
“I know I can’t see your entire face right now, but you’re really cute when you’re angry.” Said Dean.
“Just shut up and kiss me, Winchester.” You said, biting back a smile.
Your eyes closed in relief as his mouth collided with yours, his kisses all tongue and teeth before he pulled away slightly to ask, “So we can have cereal after this?”
“DEAN!” You snapped.
“Kidding, I’m kidding!” He paused. “I love you, sweetheart.”
Life with Dean Winchester was anything but boring. At times it was intense, other times it was lighthearted and fun, he was constantly making you laugh even when you didn’t want to, and he kept you from taking yourself too seriously.
You softly replied, “I love you too, baby.”
And you did the same for him because he deserved to smile, to laugh, and to finally be happy. Dean deserved to enjoy a bowl of cereal in the quiet bunker while the rest of the world was asleep and more than anything, you loved that he wanted to share that with you.

I love these two. Dean still whining about the donuts made me laugh. She’ll have to bring him more on donut day. 😂 but it was so sweet that he wanted to spend time with her over cereal. He isn’t soft often, but when he is I love it. ♥️

It had already been a day.
Your feet were killing you. The pain behind your eyes and along the bridge of your nose had started out as a dull ache and by the end of your shift at the hospital, it had morphed into excruciating agony. It wasn’t that you forgot to eat or drink enough water, it had just been a very long day and all you wanted to do was go home and put your feet up.
By the time you had clocked out, your patience and tolerance for bullshit were just about used up for the week and you felt even the slightest inconvenience would be enough to set you off and you could bet that no one would want to be around you when you did.
The time clock said 1 AM. It was an hour and a half later than when you should have clocked out but the ER was short staffed and you didn’t want to leave your co-workers when they desperately could have used your help.
It’s not like you had anything better to do.
As soon as you stepped outside, the crisp late autumn air hit your face and you instantly felt a small bit of relief as you closed your eyes and stood outside the automatic doors for a minute, letting the cool air travel from your nose to your lungs. Your headache subsided a little as you took a sip from your water bottle that you never went anywhere without; it was always in your hands along with your pepper spray and kitty knuckles.
When you moved to the city from upstate, you promised your father that you would take some sort of self-defense class because you mentioned to him that you would be walking home from the hospital every night and he wanted you to be able to defend yourself if you needed to.
Surrounded by an ethereal glow, the full moon loomed large above as you began your trek home along the cracked city sidewalks and faded white lines of the crosswalks. The slight nighttime breeze mixed the familiar scents of concrete and salt together as you were reminded about the loneliness of the dark, the empty apartment you were going home to, and the sharp whispers of the secrets heard spilling out from the alleys all around you.
What secrets or confessions would you hear tonight?
**********
The further you walked away from the hospital, the sketchier your surroundings became and no matter how many times you walked that route, it still made you nervous anytime you heard a car alarm or a stray cat jumping out in front of you and scurrying across the street but tonight you didn’t hear anything, just silence.
It was too quiet which made you more alert. But the silence was broken by the sounds of fighting…men fighting in the upcoming alley, strong fists coming in contact with another one’s nose, shoes scuffling against the rough pavement, and struggling grunts between slight cries of pain.
As you inched your way closer to the alley, you stopped at the edge and peeked around the corner. The only light overhead was the moon, high and bright in the sky, lighting up the small alley along with the figures in dark clothing and ski masks. There were three of them beating on just one man dressed in an expensive suit.
Fuck.
He needed help and calling the police would take too long but you had a metal water bottle in one hand and pepper spray attached to your kitty knuckles in the other.
Well…if you were going to die, at least you would die trying to help someone which, as a nurse, was your actual job anyway. And after the day you’ve had dealing with fentanyl overdoses, aggressive and unruly patients, and having to stay late because of staffing issues, you needed to take your frustration out on someone so it might as well be these guys.
The man in the fancy suit was trying his best to fend off the men attacking him and doing a pretty decent job at it too but three against one was hardly fair. After you carefully placed your bag on the ground, you crept around the corner of the alley and quickly moved behind the dumpster, tightly clutching your water bottle and sliding your fingers through the holes of your kitty knuckles with your pepper spray dangling next to them.
You could hear the loud, heavy sound of your heart beating inside your ears as you warily tiptoed behind one of the masked men and hit him as hard as you could with your water bottle. The clanging sound against the man’s skull was loud and startled everyone else. When he hit the pavement, you sprayed pepper spray directly into the holes in his mask.
The man in the suit called for you to “watch your six!” before successfully punching the man holding onto him in the face.
When you turned around, another masked man was coming straight for you, so you grabbed the bottle by the handle, swung right for his face and connected, resulting in another loud “CLANG!” And you also managed to jab him in the neck with the points of your kitty knuckles.
The man in the suit reached down, picked a handgun up off of the pavement, and pulled the trigger…twice. The two that you managed to neutralize were now dead and he pulled the trigger a third time, shooting the lone survivor in the kneecap.
The masked man cried out in excruciating pain while the one in the fancy suit pointed the gun into the other one’s mouth.
“I’m leaving you alive so you can go tell your boss that I don’t scare so easily and he has no idea what he has just done. Get the fuck out of here…now.” He growled.
Through his anger and disdain, the man had a sexy silvery tone to his voice and even with the cuts on his forehead and the blood on his lip, he was extremely handsome with his doll-like obsidian eyes and raven colored hair that had tumbled into his eyes.
The masked man took off running as you stood there stunned and unable to move after what you just witnessed while you tried to catch your breath.
In a daze, you heard a muffled voice asking you questions but you couldn’t make out what the voice was saying. With a snap, you quickly turned your head in his direction.
“What?” You asked.
“I asked if you were hurt!” He said with concern in his voice.
Vigorously shaking your head, you replied, “No, I’m fine! You look hurt though. That cut on your head is gonna need a stitch or two.”
Without warning, he grabbed your arm, started walking and said “We gotta go, come on. That your bag? Pick it up, let’s go.”
Throwing your bag over your shoulder, he pulled you along as you tried to keep up with his long strides. He was tall with a strong slender build and as you looked down at his hand on your arm, you could see small cuts on his knuckles and small dots of blood sprinkled on his stark white dress shirt.
You hastily walked away from the sirens that were headed in your direction. When you were far enough away, he pulled on your arm to move you so you were directly in front of him. His mouth was twisted with anger, his nostrils flared, and through gritted teeth he started to scold you.
“What the fuck were you thinking?!! They could have killed you, ya know! Men twice your size and you go after them with a WATER BOTTLE?!!” He yelled.
Walking for a minute had cleared your head a little and you had an answer ready for him.
“That’s a funny way to tell someone ‘thank you’ but I’ll take it. And they DENTED my FAVORITE water bottle, thank you very much!! Look, I’ve had a really rough day, Mister and I really needed to take it out on something. That guy’s head hit perfectly against my water bottle. You heard that clang right? It was a good one.” You replied with a sarcastic grin.
Inches away from your face, he asked with his lips almost touching yours, “Why would you risk your life for a stranger?!!”
“Because you needed help.” You replied in barely more than a whisper.
The firm grip he had on your arm eased and he let you go. The tension in his face relaxed and stared at you with, what you could only describe as, fondness or admiration like he really couldn’t believe that a stranger would risk her life for his.
“Well you shouldn’t have done that, sweetheart. I don’t know that I could have lived with myself if something happened and I wouldn’t have even known your name.” He said.
“And if something happened to you, I wouldn’t have known yours either. And my name is y/n. It’s nice to meet you.” You said, extending your hand for him to shake.
He reached for your hand and replied, “Billy…Billy Russo.”
“Well…Billy Russo, I need to stitch that wound on your head and I should clean the cuts on your knuckles and your lip.” You said.
Gazing at you from head to toe, he finally got a good look at you before saying, “You’re a nurse.”
Pointing at your scrubs and clogs, you replied with a sarcastic tone, “Oh ya think? What gave it away? My apartment isn’t far from here so let’s go, handsome.”
Shit.
Either he missed what you had said or he was preoccupied with getting off the street because of the two dead bodies he left in the alley.
Being a nurse, you obviously carried a first aid kit with you wherever you went, so you gave him a piece of gauze to hold against his head to try and keep it clean and prevent the blood from dripping down his forehead.
“You’re not lightheaded or anything are you? We’re almost there.” You said, taking your keys out of your bag.
“I’m fine, y/n. I promise.” Replied Billy. “Ya know, you’re awfully calm for someone who watched two guys die tonight.”
“I’m a nurse who works in the ER, Billy. I’ve seen people die from gunshot wounds, fentanyl overdoses, car accidents…I’ve seen it all.” You said with a slight hitch in your voice.
“I wish you didn’t have to see those things.” Billy said.
You glanced over at him and replied, “It’s my job, Billy. I know what field I chose to work in, it’s ok.”
After unlocking the door, you removed your shoes, put your keys away and put your jacket and bag down.
“Make yourself comfortable. Oh can you take your shoes off, please?” You asked.
Billy’s lips curled into a warm smile and that smile melted your insides. Even with all the blood on his face and tousled hair, he was still incredibly handsome.
“Of course.” Billy said.
“Let me just get my supplies, I’ll be right back.” You said softly.
“You have a significant other that will be upset if I’m here?” He asked, looking around.
Emerging from the bedroom, you shook your head and replied, “Nope, it’s just me. Take your jacket off for me.”
“Alright, alright. Don’t need to get all bossy about it.” He said with a smirk.
You narrowed your eyes and shook your head again.
“I just wanna make sure you’re not hurt anywhere else, broken bones, bleeding anywhere else, your eye is gonna swell. I should get you some ice for that but I need to stitch that cut first.” You said.
Billy would be sore tomorrow with some bumps and bruises but he was lucky that nothing was broken or bleeding which was a little surprising since he was trying to fend off three masked men by himself.
To give yourself added light, you put on your small headlamp with a magnifier.
“Ok, hold still. I’m gonna clean this and give youuuuu…I think two stitches will be good.” You said, looking over the cut on his forehead.
“You lookin’ in a coal mine with that thing? It’s just a cut.” Said Billy.
Looking down at him, you replied, “Who’s the nurse here, me or you? I need to make sure there’s nothing in there that could cause an infection, if that’s alright! Also, I told you to hold still and don’t look at the light. You’re lucky this cut is up by your hair, there won’t be any scar visible to mess up this handsome face.”
As a wide Cheshire cat smile stretched across his lips, Billy said, “You think I’m handsome?”
“Will you shut up!” You said, playfully.
Billy was still trying to stare at you up and through the headlamp.
“So really, y/n. What did you think you were doing stepping into that fight?” He asked.
“I told you, I just wanted to help, Billy. And a lot of good it did me. That dude’s head was harder than I thought it would be and his big ol’ melon DENTED it! It was my favorite water bottle and I dented it, helping you!” You replied with your voice raised. “So ya know what? YOU can buy me a new one, oh and say thank you!”
Billy was highly amused. He touched his tongue to his top teeth then tried to bite back a smile and if you were to guess, you would say that he was smitten with you.
“Will you marry me?” He blurted out.
Stunned by his ridiculous question, you accidentally pressed a little too hard on the bandage you placed over his wound after you were finished stitching it.
“WHAT?!!” You exclaimed.
Wincing in pain, he hissed, “OUCH!! Shit!”
“Oh my god, Billy! I’m sorry! But what the fuck did you just say?!” You asked, with a touch of hostility in your voice.
Billy gently touched the bandage on his forehead and replied, “Is this how you treat all of your patients?! Fuck, that hurt!”
“Well I usually don’t get marriage proposals from my patients, Mr. Russo. Are you insane? Did you hit your head?” You asked, removing your gloves.
Still touching the bandage, Billy looked up at you through his long dark lashes, his deep brown eyes were hypnotic and nearly put you into a trance.
He replied, “It was the only way I could get you to stop talkin’ about your stupid water bottle!”
“Maybe I wasn’t clear…it was my FAVORITE WATER BOTTLE!!” You said, desperately trying to stop your lips from curling into a wide smile.
“And no, I’m not insane and I didn’t hit my head. Maybe, I’m just still shocked that someone would risk their life for someone they don’t even know…especially someone like me.” Billy said in a softer tone but the words sounded very grinding as he said them through clenched teeth.
As you gently placed yourself next to him on the couch, you noticed the look on Billy’s face was tense, the freshly cleaned wounds on his knuckles were bright red as he clenched and released his fists over and over again.
“Billy? What do you mean, someone like you?” You asked in a hushed tone.
He turned to face you.
“Isn’t it obvious, y/n? I killed two men in front of you, wounded a third, and you’re not even the least bit curious of how I could just do that without batting an eyelash? Huh?! I’m not a good man.” He said.
“You didn’t kill me when you very well could have. Leave no witnesses and all that, right?” You replied, slowly closing your hand over his fist. “I don’t think you’re a bad guy. It’s just a feeling I have.”
Closing the distance between your bodies, Billy inched his face closer to yours and whispered with an appreciative smile, “I could never kill or hurt the person who saved my life.”
With his lips ghosting over yours, you pulled away, quickly stood up and clumsily replied, “I-I should get you some ice for that eye. I’ll be, um, yeah I’ll be right back.”
A satisfying hum raced through your veins as you hurried into the kitchen to retrieve an ice pack and a towel for Billy’s eye. You could almost still feel Billy’s warm breath brushing the husk of your ear before the cold air from the freezer brought you back down to earth.
As you handed him the towel and ice pack, you said, “Here ya go. Hold that on your eye for a bit, should keep the swelling down but you will have a bruise there. You’re not a model or anythin’, are you? You should call in sick tomorrow, if you are.”
“You think I’m good lookin’ enough to be a model?” Asked Billy, with his mouth tipped up in half a smile.
“That’s not what I said, Mr. Russo. I just asked IF you—“ You had started to say before Billy cut you off.
He dropped the ice pack on the couch as his lips crashed against yours but he quickly pulled away because of the pain from the cut on his lip.
“Ow! Fuck!” He cried out.
You chuckled a little.
“I mean, I could have told ya that was gonna hurt.” You said with a slight giggle. “Sit back for me, Billy.”
“What?” Asked Billy.
“Just sit back for me. Now, am I gonna hurt you if I straddle you?” You asked, softly.
“Depends on what you’re gonna do to me when you get up there.” He replied with a devilish smile.
You snapped back, “Do you trust me or not?!”
“You’re the nurse, sweet girl.” He said.
His voice was smooth like warm honey. When he smiled that perfect smile at you, it felt like your insides were melting and you suddenly felt an ache between your thighs growing hungry for him. You shouldn’t feel this way, you just met him but Billy had something about him, something that you felt drawn to,almost like you were meant to stumble upon him and save him tonight.
Gingerly, you placed one knee on either side of his hips as you rested on the tops of his thighs. A forceful exhale escaped his mouth while his intense gaze raked over you and his eyes darted around to carefully watch every move you made.
Placing one hand on his chest, you asked, “Is this ok?”
Billy nodded.
Very slowly, you inched your face closer to his and placed a soft kiss on his forehead and then another in a different spot, you kissed his slightly swollen eyelid, then to the other before moving down to his cheeks. His well-groomed beard lightly tickled your lips as you very delicately peppered kisses all over his face before pausing in front of his lips.
You could tell it was killing him to be this close to you without being able to kiss you like he desperately wanted to, fighting the urge to devour every inch of you, and all because it would hurt him to do so.
“Gently now.” You whispered, almost in a taunting tone, before lightly touching your lips to his.
Growling through the pain, Billy kissed you back, wrapping his long arms around your body and tangling his long agile fingers in your hair.
“I said gently, Mr. Russo.” You sighed, pulling away, giving him access to your throat. “Thaaaat’s it.” You purred as he took your direction by lightly kissing up and down the side of your neck.
You could feel his cock twitch against your core, hardening more and more with each gentle kiss and listening intently to your words of praise. Billy liked it and he seemed to surprise himself by letting himself trust you, a complete stranger…well, almost a complete stranger.
Maybe he was used to rushing through intimate moments and his sexual encounters. He never allowed himself to fully trust anyone or open up to people. You knew his type. These were just guesses of course, but you’ve seen it before in your own relationships and your friends’ relationships too.
“You don’t do this, huh…go slow or take your time…do you Billy.” You said, softly.
Billy hummed against your collarbone.
“Mmmmm…no. I don’t.” Billy replied.
“You don’t trust anyone either, hmmm.” You whined as he lightly nipped at your jaw.
“No…” He growled.
You felt like you could come even though he was just grazing the sensitive skin of your neck with his lips. Goosebumps erupted across your skin as he found the sweet spot where your necks meets your shoulder that made you gasp.
“Then why do you trust me?” You asked.
Billy grabbed the hem of your scrub top.
“Because you saved my life, sweet girl.” He purred into your ear before pulling your top up over your head and tossing it to the side.
Wrapping his hands around your wrists with ease, he pinned them behind your back. Billy was strong and it was pointless to struggle but you actually kind of not-so-secretly liked it.
“I told you that I’m not a good man, you’ve watched me kill…you haven’t even asked who those men were or why they want me dead.” Billy hissed.
You barked back, “I was too busy saving your ass and making sure you don’t have a concussion, to ask. I was getting there though.”
His breath was hot against your skin as he replied, “No, you were too busy eye fucking me.”
“Don’t flatter yourself, Mr. Russo. You’re not THAT good looking.” You said, lying through your teeth.
You could feel him smiling against your cheek, the bristles of his beard lightly scratching the skin, and the wet spot on your panties growing larger with every syllable he uttered.
“Yeah? Is that why you called me handsome more than once? Because I’m NOT good looking?” He said harshly through gritted teeth. “You don’t have an answer for me, do you Princess.”
Billy was right. You didn’t have an answer for him because he really was THAT good looking. He was probably the most handsome man you had ever seen, who was a complete stranger to you an hour ago and now he had you half naked, restrained with your hands pinned behind your back.
You weren’t even frightened.
“No...I don’t.” You replied.
“I thought so. Now I’m gonna ask you again, how do you know I’m not the bad guy?” Billy asked, as he nibbled on your ear.
“Maybe you’re just morally gray.” You replied. “You’re not all bad. I can feel it.”
Billy flashed you a wicked smile.
“You can feel it huh? I’m sure you can…right in that nice wet pussy of yours. Can’t you, sweet girl.” Said Billy.
The words rolled off his silvery tongue with ease and he definitely knew what it was doing to you. All of your senses were heightened, everything he was saying to you was hitting you directly in your core and he had barely touched you. But it was because he had barely touched you that you were so turned on, feeling things that you shouldn’t and for a man you barely knew.
What were you thinking?
You actually weren’t thinking, at least not with your head anyway.
But Billy was into it just as much as you. His cock was strained against his suit pants, aching to get out and you’d be lying to yourself if you said you didn’t desperately want him inside you but you were enjoying the tease and you could tell he was enjoying it too as this was all new to him also.
“Slow, Billy. It will be worth it, I promise.” You whispered.
“You’re makin’ me feel things I don’t normally feel, y/n. I don’t trust people, I don’t form attachments, they make people weak , but right now, so do you. You make me weak.” Billy admitted.
His words sent restless shivers down your spine.
With your hands still pinned behind your back, you shyly asked, “Can you let go of my wrists, Billy? You have too many clothes on.”
He eased his grip, releasing your wrists but not his gaze as his onyx colored eyes were firmly locked on yours. As you loosened his tie, his top teeth closed onto his bottom lip and the look he had in his eyes was primal, wild and hungry. One at a time, you unbuttoned his once crisp white dress shirt that was now sprinkled with droplets of blood.
After slowly pushing his shirt off of his shoulders, you noticed a scar on his left shoulder and before you could ask him, he almost timidly stated, “I don’t wanna talk about it.”
Billy seemed angry and ashamed about it so you just let it go and replied, “It’s alright Billy, we don’t have to.”
Staying away from his scar, you stippled kisses along his neck and chest as your lips curled into a smile against his skin and gently raked your fingers through his raven colored hair. It was getting harder and harder to control yourself, to continue to tease him, and have him tease you.
“Thank you y/n, for saving me, even if it was with a water bottle.” Billy whispered with a warm smile.
Being careful of his cut, you leaned forward and placed a tender kiss on his lips before replying, “Take me to bed, Billy…and you’re welcome.”
“Just tell me where it is, sweet girl.” He purred with a devilish grin.
“Down the hall, last door on the right.” You said.
**********
Being married to your job, it had been awhile since you had a relationship or had even been on a date but you had never known pleasure like the decadence Billy gave you that night.
He buried himself between your legs for what felt like hours, determined to pull every sinful noise, whine and strangled moan from you until your voice cracked and until your vision went blindly white.
And that was just with his tongue.
It turned him on more to hear you purring his name underneath him, to feel your thighs tremble with every slow deep grind of his hips, and your walls clenching around him every time he succeeded in pulling orgasms from you.
Billy was punishing you in the best way for teasing him, for making him take things slow, and for not giving in to his charm at first. He made you pay for keeping his cock confined for what he said felt like days and he did that by putting you on all fours and fucking you from behind and drawing circles on your clit. The overstimulation caused your legs to give out as you collapsed onto your side but he was far from finished with you.
He slipped back into you from the side, his hand wrapped around your neck like a choker, then let it wander down to your hips as he pulled his cock nearly all the way out before plunging back inside.
Quickly falling apart, you reach back to grab a hold of his deep brown hair so you’d have something to pull on while you come undone between the quick snaps of his hips while his long deft fingers pressed firmly into yours.
Billy loved to hear you moan his name, and you could tell he was close when his movements quickened and became more shallow. He was going to explode.
With a quick tug on his hair, you breathlessly said, “I told you it would be worth it, come for me, Billy.”
Hard and fast, he chased his own release, digging his nails into your skin as a deep moan of your name escaped his lips.
Billy pinched your chin between his hand and turned your face toward him but before he could plant a kiss on your lips, you stopped him, “That’s gonna hurt, Mr. Russo.”
He went in for the kiss anyway and only regretted it a little.
“Ow…totally worth it though.” He said, trying to catch his breath.
You were desperate to touch his face but unsure if he would be alright with it. His actions and reactions to certain things tonight made you think that he may not be open to that. Slowly, you inched your hand toward his face and asked him, “May I?”
Stunned, Billy nodded as you gently brushed his beard with your thumb, then your knuckles. He let his eyes close as his facial muscles relaxed and he kissed the palm of your hand.
All he managed to get out was, “H-how?”
You turned to face him, continued to softly stroke his cheeks and hair before replying, “It’s my job to help people when they’re hurt, Billy. While I only deal with their physical pain, I know emotional pain and trauma when I see it. And I see that in you.”
Billy took your hand and held it in his.
“Y/n, I really don’t—“ He started to say.
You interrupted him, shaking your head, “And you don’t have to, Billy. You don’t know me from any other random woman you bring home. I’ve just seen your type before and you definitely don’t have to talk about it if you don’t want to.”
“Technically, you brought me home.” He said with a wink.
You playfully slapped him on the shoulder as you both let out a chuckle.
“You know what I mean!” You retorted.
Billy asked, “So you’re NOT gonna marry me?”
“I’m not gonna marry you, Billy. I’ll consider going on a date with you IF you buy me a new water bottle.” You said with your lips curling into a wide smile.
“Oh here we go with the fuckin’ water bottle again!” He exclaimed.
“Billy—“ You started to say.
He interrupted, “Yeah, I know I heard you the first time. It’s your ‘favorite.’ I get it.”
Billy paused.
“And for the woman who risked her life to help save mine? I’ll buy you all the water bottles you want and then take you out to dinner. What do ya say?” He asked.
You replied, “I’ll say yes, if you answer my question…Are you the good guy or the bad guy?”
Billy tucked a stray piece of hair behind your ear as his lips collided with yours. Through the pain, he parted your lips with his tongue as he slipped it into your mouth to tangle with yours, and with a slight growl, he replied, “How did you put it? Morally gray?”
Biting back a smile, you slowly nodded and replied, “Yes, I did say that.”
“Then I’m morally gray.” Said Billy. “Is that something you can handle, sweet girl?”
“I think I’m doin’ pretty good so far.” You answered.
He asked, “So I’ll pick you up on Saturday night?”
“You got yourself a date, handsome…and have my new water bottle ready and waiting. Oh, I want the same color too.” You said.
“And what color is that?” Asked Billy.
With a kind smile, you delicately kissed his cheek and replied, “Gray.”

Masterlist ~~ Chapter 1
~
You ushered Billy over to a supply closet, checking over your shoulder to make sure no one had seen you. You locked the door behind you and turned around. You had crazy butterflies going on in your stomach, so you pushed him against the nearest shelf and stood on your tip toes to crush your lips to his before you lost your nerve.
He let you kiss him, and he kissed you back, but he didn’t touch you.
You pulled away after a second, wondering if this was a mistake. Before you could open your mouth to apologize, his hands shot up and he cupped your face.
“Tell me, little lady. Tell me what you want me to do to you.”
You shook your head. “It’s not that. It’s what I want to do to you.” You said.
Johnny strutting up to older!reader in a bar with the tired “can I buy ye a drink” and you just look him up and down and ask “oh baby. How old are you? Where’s your dad?” In the most condescending yet sweet voice he’s ever heard and the man is lowkey bricked up. He’s stunned just staring at you stuttering out “ ‘m 26” You look over his shoulder to the rest of the 141 sitting at a table. “Either come back in ten years or send your mutton chops daddy over. Ok sweetheart” your hand is shooing him away and he’s walking a little stiff bc you just unlocked a kink in him he did not know he had.
Johnny walking back to his table and they’re all wondering why he is both sulking and blushing until he says “cap’n she wants to talk to you”. He’s pouting as he slides into his side and watches Price stand up.
“You called?” His deep voice pulled you from your drink to turn and give a knowing smile to the man now sitting next to you.
“You just let that poor thing go hitting on women older than him? Why not just send him to the pretty more age appropriate girls hmm?” You motioned for the bartender to get Price another beer and you another one of yours
“The boy doesn’t usually have a problem with the easy ones. Gotta give him a challenge or he’ll get a big head”. He’s sipping his beer watching your lips wrap around yours.
“What about you? How’s your head?” You’re looking at him like you’re expecting an answer as your hand lands on his thigh. And now he’s almost choking on his drink, fully understanding why Johnny had the look he did on the way back to the table.
Good lawrd, Ericcca. I've been neglecting Billy Russo quite a bit because of a certain old man (Joel Miller of TLoU, my guy tackled me to floor and wouldn't let go)
But I am thinking about Lily Pad and Billy tho. I bet Frankie has heard all about her 😭
My darling sweet friend! I am SO sorry it’s taken me so long to finish this. It’s been done for a little while but I just haven’t had the time or energy to put it altogether, I hope you can forgive me and I really hope you like what I did here.
Thank you for this ask and let me if you’d still like me to continue this little saga of Billy and his Lily Pad (I think you might want me to lol) 🐸

Summary: Mostly told from Billy’s POV. Frank had no idea you existed until during one of their tours, Frank finds the picture of you that Billy keeps with him.
A/N: Continued from Part One. I’ll leave that linked HERE. My life has been all over the place lately but work has finally settled out so hopefully I’ll be able to be a little more present than I have been. Anyway, I hope you like what I did here.
As always, thank you for reading! I appreciate it so much and comments, reblogs are welcome and encouraged. Don’t be shy to tell me your favorite part. 💕💕 💕
Looking at her now, you still couldn’t get over how beautiful she was but you also couldn’t help but remember that little six-year-old girl with tears streaking down her face, clutching her stuffed frog, and a fresh cast on her broken arm. That image of her was never very far from your mind…ever.
Y/n…your little Lily Pad.
She was like the little sister you never had but always felt the need to fiercely protect and when she turned 16, you definitely started to look at her differently. She had beautiful eyes that still shined with life and happiness despite losing her parents at a very young age and also growing up in a group home. But you waited too long, you were leaving for the Marines so what were you supposed to do? Ask her to wait? That wasn’t fair to her.
Receiving her letters while you were in boot camp always brought a smile to your face at a time where there wasn’t a lot to smile about but you were used to that. But she made you smile.
It hurt more than you would ever let on when you lost touch with her somewhere around your second or third tour in Iraq. You didn’t mean for it to happen but she just ended up getting lost in the shuffle of life and of war. But no one knew about her anyway; they only knew about all the others, the ones that meant nothing to you.
The possessions that were important, you always kept close to the chest like the little toy soldier she gave you. It was one of the few possessions you had and that you were able to bring with you. It was supposed to be her reward for doing chores but instead she picked out something that she thought you would like and gifted it to you. Y/n thought of you when no one else did, so every time you looked at it or held it in your hand, you wished you could hear her laugh or see her smile.
She was always with you though, in the form of a photograph. It was a picture of the two of you, taken at Ray of Hope, not too long before you left for boot camp. With your arm around her, you were looking down at her with a slight smirk on your face and her in a full on belly laugh which you must have caused.
You were using it as a bookmark and had managed to keep her a secret until one afternoon while on some down time overseas.
Tossing a small football up in the air and catching it, Frankie sat down on his bed and asked, “Whatcha readin’, Bill?”
“What am I always readin’, Frankie?” You replied.
Frankie shook his head and smirked as he retorted, “Shouldn’t you have that book memorized by now? The Portrait of Dorian Gray must be gettin’ kinda old by now, yeah?”
“It’s the PICTURE of Dorian Gray, Frankie.” You replied with a wide smile.
Realizing you had left the picture out and next to your leg, you tried to grab it and move it but Frank was too fast. He snatched it quickly out of your hands.
“Ah and what do we have here?!” He asked, looking down at the photo.
“It’s nothing, Frankie. Hand it over.” You said, holding your hand out, trying to get him to hand over the picture.
“Holy shit…this you, Bill? Who’s the girl?” Frank asked with a devilish grin on his face.
Taking swipes at the photo, you replied, “Alright, if you give it back, I’ll tell ya.”
Y/n had given you that photo before you left for boot camp and you’ve kept it hidden ever since but you couldn’t hide it anymore plus Frankie was your best friend so why not at least confide in him.
He’ll probably bust your balls about it but you decided to tell him about her anyway.
“Am I finally gettin’ through to you, Bill? That whole thing about quality over quantity. And you let her go?!” He growled.
“What was I supposed to do, Frankie? Tell her to wait? We were kids. And we just…kinda lost touch.” You said.
“She’s the only one you’ve ever loved, isn’t she.” Said Frank.
As you tightly clenched your jaw together, all you could do was nod because you’ve never really said how you felt about anyone, to anyone. It was difficult to express your feelings and even more so now that you’ve basically been taught that relationships and attachments were weaknesses.
Frankie wasn’t wrong though. You’ve always felt some sort of love for her, but maybe it just took someone else pointing it out that made it real, that made it true, and made every other physical conquest you’ve ever had…meaningless. There were no attachments to those other women, just sex.
Frank’s ball busting antics lasted for a couple weeks during deployment before finally dying down; he mentioned it less and less before dropping it altogether, knowing that you weren’t going to take his advice unless you were ready to.
Walking to work, after seeing her today, you wondered if you should mention it to Frank.
He was your best friend and knew all about your terrible upbringing, what had happened to you in the group home, and he knew all about your other little secret who turned out to be absolutely beautiful and still the same sweet girl she always was.
But you weren’t the same boy she knew all those years ago. Hardened and desensitized from your time in the Marines, it just added extra bricks to the emotional wall that you had built up from childhood, making it impenetrable to most people.
Could she be the one to finally tear it all the way down? You felt she had started to chip away at it leading up to the day you finally kissed her but you just rebuilt the pieces she knocked down as soon as you arrived at boot camp.
She had kept you somewhat grounded, you felt normal around her, she didn’t see you as damaged or broken like you saw yourself but rather the one she came to when she needed to feel safe.
But things are different now.
You’re different and she probably wouldn’t like the person you have become. You’re a soldier, a sniper, and a killer. Just because you now go to work in a suit and tie rather than fatigues, it doesn’t change what you’ve done.
Would you still be a hero to her or a villain instead?
**********
With your face buried in paperwork and after a handful of phone calls, your mind wandered and you probably checked your phone ten times in five minutes to see if she had texted you before Frank barged into your office.
“There you are. The hell you been, Bill? You said you were gonna be late but you didn’t say it was gonna be hours!” Growled Frank.
“I just got held up for a minute, Frankie. That’s all.” You lied.
Frank narrowed his eyes; he knew you were lying.
“Oh yeah? Bullshit. What did she look like?” Replied Frank.
“It’s nothing; drop it.” You said through clenched teeth.
Frank threw his hands up in the air in a classic move of surrender. Frowning, he said, “Alright, I can’t make ya talk about it, but lemme know if you wanna grab a beer later, yeah?”
“Out, Frankie!” You commanded.
Frank didn’t even turn around. He just started to walk out of your office before hearing him under his breath, “Alright, alright. I’m goin’, ya stubborn asshole.”
He closed the door behind him and you were alone again, trying to concentrate on someone or something else other than her but you couldn’t.
Suddenly, your phone screen lit up and notified you of a new message.
Involuntarily, your mouth curled into a slight smile when you saw who it was from…Lily Pad.
She said,
I bet you don’t still have yours.
Underneath the text was a picture, THE picture. The one she gave you, the one you had shown Frankie all those years ago. She still had hers.
But so did you.
You slowly opened your middle desk drawer and inside a small journal, underneath a few papers was the picture. So you snapped a picture of the picture and sent it back to her with the attached message:
Well that’s a bet you would have lost.
The smile on your face grew even wider when she asked:
You don’t happen to have that little toy soldier still, do you?
The little plastic green army man always sat in the same place on your desk which was underneath your computer monitor so you snapped a picture of that and sent that to her too along with your reply.
You mean this little toy soldier?
The three dots appeared. You patiently watched the screen, waiting for her reply.
OMG! I can’t believe you kept it!
You chuckled to yourself because you could actually hear her saying it, even down to the inflection, and you could practically feel the playful slap she would have given you on your shoulder as she said it.
Of course I kept it, sweet girl.
Shit.
You didn’t mean to type that, it just came out and before you could stop yourself, it had already been sent…and seen.
Inside your chest, your heart beat rapidly and you suddenly felt warm under your collar. The anticipation of what she was writing back was killing you, like time was passing in slow motion as you watched the three dots on your phone.
Three heart emojis appeared followed by the words:
Billy, I’ve missed you…so much.
The tension that tightly gripped your body eased slowly, your shoulders dropped, and you let out a long exhale.
You missed her too and desperately wanted to see her again.
As you picked up the receiver to your desk phone, you texted her back.
I’ve missed you too. Lunch tomorrow?
Waiting for her response, you dialed Frank’s desk phone.
“Yeah Bill, what is it? I’m busy.” Said Frank.
“Too busy to talk about who I was with this mornin’?” You replied.
She wrote back.
Lunch sounds perfect.
You could feel Frankie smiling on the other end of the phone as he said, “I’ll be done at 6. Beer?”
“Beer.” You concurred.
Before you could hang up, he interjected, “You’re not even gonna gimme a hint?”
“Not a chance.” You replied. “I’ll see ya at 6.”
**********
You
Biting down on your lower lip, you watched the three dots on your screen impatiently.
Billy replied.
Great. I’ll call you later.
Excited and nervous, you typed back.
Can’t wait!
Even after leaving the group home, going to college and making new friends, you’ve never felt as comfortable with any of them as you were with Billy Russo. Even as friends, the few previous boyfriends you’ve had, never measured up to him, to his kindness, his protective nature, not to mention his handsome face and million-dollar smile.
You never loved any of them because they weren’t him.
Earlier today, he told you that he wasn’t the same person anymore but neither were you. Life happens and it changes people according to whatever is thrown at them.
You didn’t expect Billy to come back from war the same person as when he left but he was still the person who knew you better than anyone else and to you, he’ll always be the boy who helped make the best out of the shitty situation you were both put in.
He didn’t have to befriend you that night, sign your cast, or let you tag along. Billy was the boy all the others looked up to, who they wanted on their team when they played stickball, and the one all the girls wanted.
But you were the only one who never wanted anything from him. It wasn’t about what he could do for you because all you had ever wanted was a true friend and he seemed like he wanted one too.
If you’d like to be added to (or removed from) my tag list for the ever so handsome Billy Russo, just let me know and thank you again for reading! 💕💕💕 If I tagged you but didn’t want to be, just let me know and I’ll never do it again
I love childhood friends to lovers so much, and this was so good. I loved the peek into Billy’s thoughts, and of course Frank has to give him shit. I love their friendship so much. I’d love to see more of this AU.
And don’t apologize for being busy, my friend. Life happens and we’ll always be here waiting.♥️💜🩷

A/N: So this fic was a lot of fun to write and was inspired by a short video/pin my darling friend @bartonsparrow25 sent me. She helped me some with ideas and a few pieces of dialogue. I love and appreciate you for helping me! For your viewing pleasure, I’ll leave the pin linked HERE. Trust me, you WANT to watch this.🥵🥵🥵 I know I’ve been MIA for awhile now and I’m really sorry but I think I’m almost over the hump with all the crap going on a work for the past couple of months but I think it’s almost over.

The unique variety of scents inside the boxing gym hit you as soon as you walked inside. The smell of aged, broken-in leather from the gloves and bags mixed with the clean scent of disinfectant added to the overall experience of being inside an area occupied mostly by people training to be fighters.
And it didn’t matter if they were training to be professionals or just wanted to learn the basics, the scent most prominent was hard work and dedication. It was evidence of the intensity left over from the sweat, tears, and sometimes even blood that became permanent stains on the gloves, mitts, and mats inside the fighter’s small little corner that was called Gloves Up Boxing Gym or to everyone that went there, it was simply called “Rumlow’s.”
You always tried to take care of yourself, eat well, and exercise but when the new year came, you told yourself to try something different, to try something new, and add something a little more challenging than what you were used to.
Boxing would definitely check off all of those boxes for you.
As soon as you stepped inside, you immediately felt out of your comfort zone. You were used to walking into a gym and knowing exactly what to do, where to go, and how hard to work to get the results you wanted. But here, you were lost and out of place.
Nervously walking up to the front desk, you tried to sound a lot more confident that you actually were. On the inside, you were petrified.
“Excuse me? I’m interested in taking some lessons.” You said with a slight hitch in your voice.
The man behind the counter, without looking up from his paperwork, responded with, “You waited three weeks after the new year to join a new gym? Why?”
Confidently, you replied, “Well, I wanted to give the quitters a chance to give up first, thought maybe I’d have better luck getting the best instructor here.”
When he handed you a form to fill out, he finally looked up. The scowl on his face disappeared and was replaced with a wide smile as he quickly got up from his chair and took off but not before calling back to you, “I’ll be back, gonna go get my boss, see what he thinks. He’s also the owner.”
Shrugging your shoulders, you turned around and started filling out the form he gave you. A few minutes later, he returned with another man with wild dark brown hair, warm tan skin, and golden brown eyes that reminded you of Tennessee whiskey. Your stomach dropped when you noticed how ruggedly handsome he was but it was when he spoke, that you could feel yourself clenching your thighs together.
“You ever box before, doll?” The other one asked, gazing at you from head to toe.
“Doll?!” You retorted.
One side of his mouth curled into a sinister smile and you were trying to decide whether or not to be offended by the pet name but the raspy tone to his voice when he said it, silently had you begging for him to say it again except slower and up against your ear.
“Would you prefer, ‘ma’am?’” He asked.
When the word “ma’am” escaped his lips, you immediately narrowed your eyes, pressed your lips together in a straight line and replied, “Ew, no! Doll is fine. And no sir, I’ve never boxed before.”
He folded his arms across his chest while keeping eye contact with you and you really hoped he wasn’t the gym’s best instructor because you’d never be able to concentrate on learning to box if he was teaching you.
“And how often do you wanna come in, Missssss?” He asked.
You replied, “Y/L/N, my name is Y/F/N Y/L/N. I’d like to come in at least four days a week but if you think I need more time, I’ll gladly come in for it, Misterrrrrrr?”
“Rumlow, Brock Rumlow.” Said Brock. “So you’re willing to come in more if I say so?”
He sounded surprised as he stroked the stubble on his chin.
You answered, “Of course. You’re the instructor, right?”
Brock turned to his employee, “Why aren’t all of our members this enthusiastic?”
You finished filling out your form and handed it to the guy behind the desk while Brock continued, “Alright, I’m gonna train you myself, nobody else. You got that?”
You nodded.
“Mornings good for you? The locker rooms have all the amenities you need to get ready for work in the morning, if you work.” Said Brock.
“Perfect.” You replied.
“Great. See you tomorrow, 7 am!” He yelled as he walked away from you, presumably back to his office.
Before leaving, you looked at the man behind the counter and asked sarcastically, “Is he always this pleasant?”
“You caught Rumlow on a good day. He’s usually mean and doesn’t personally offer to train new members himself. I got excited for a minute because most of the time he has one of us train new members, but you did say you wanted to learn from the best.” He said.
Your only hope was you’d never have to see Brock Rumlow on a bad day or would that just make you hotter for him than you were already.
**********
“What have you been doing? You look fantastic!” A coworker said to you one morning.
Shyly, you replied, “Oh! I’ve been taking boxing lessons at that gym down the street for the past six months. It’s such a great workout.”
You always hated being the center of attention and when she said how great you looked, her voice was raised so other people around you took notice also. It was slightly embarrassing but it also felt good to know that your hard work was paying off and it also didn’t hurt that your instructor was probably the sexiest man you had ever seen.
But at times it was difficult to concentrate on his instructions because you were too busy concentrating on him plus you had to get through your work day AFTER your lesson. You couldn’t wait to go home to be alone with your thoughts.
You could hear Brock’s assertive raspy voice inside your head at all times during the day, barking commands at you, reminding you about your stance, keeping your knees bent, and your hands up to guard your face.
“Your stance is the foundation for your movements and the basis for the way you deliver punches, y/n. You understand? Tuck that chin when you’re on the defensive! Got it?!”
If he had any idea the thoughts you had of him when you were alone, or the fact that you were soaked down there, not from the workout, after your lessons, or the sinful dreams you’ve had of him…he would probably stop giving you lessons or even kick you out of his gym altogether.
At the gym, Brock was all business but in your dreams, he was pure pleasure. On the nights where you couldn’t sleep, you lay awake, staring at the ceiling, thinking about him as your fingers absentmindedly traveled down your torso, pausing just above your core before diving beneath the waistband of your panties.
As your eyes fluttered closed, you imagined they were Brock’s thick fingers, teasing your entrance, parting your folds and inserting one finger then another. Moving them rhythmically, they hooked inside of you causing you to whimper as your orgasm began to build. You pictured him looking down at you with his amber colored eyes and with that sexy raspy voice of his whispering in your ear, “You gonna be a good girl and come for me?”
Imagining him saying that was enough to send you over the edge, call out his name while drenching your fingers as your whole body trembled while coming down from your high. This was crazy, right? Having full blown fantasies about your boxing instructor to the point where it had become a nightly ritual before you could fall asleep. Even after a morning workout, a full day at work, and a nighttime routine…you still couldn’t fall asleep unless you fantasized about Brock Rumlow fucking you until you saw stars.
It was only a matter of time before you had a slip up and you could feel it every time he was near you, every time he said your name, and every time he stood behind you to show you a new move or how to keep your form.
You’d never be able to show your face in that gym again if Brock rejected you but this crush was affecting you in every aspect of your life, even your dreams.
You had to do something but you just didn’t know what that something was quite yet.
**********
The next day when you showed up for your workout, Brock wasn’t there. When your lessons started six months ago, he told you that he was the only one that was going to be teaching you, no one else.
But he wasn’t there so what were you supposed to do?
Cody was the first guy you met when you walked into Gloves Up Boxing Gym and he was working when you walked in this morning. After changing into your workout clothes, you walked around, looking for Brock. He wasn’t in his office, at the front desk or anywhere else inside the gym so you walked back to the front desk.
“Cody? Have you seen, Brock?” You asked.
Cody looked around with a confused look on his face.
“Actually, now that you mention it y/n…I haven’t seen him yet this morning. Did you try calling or texting him?” He asked.
You nodded.
“I did. I tried both but no answer. He told me he was the only one that was supposed to train me and give me workouts but he’s not here soooooooo.” You said, innocently batting your eyelashes at him.
Cody held up one finger and started shaking his head aggressively.
“Oh no…no, no, no y/n! Rumlow will KILL me! What he says, goes, around here! If he doesn’t kill me, I’ll definitely be fired!” He said in a frightened tone.
Brock always made a big deal about being on time and ready to work when you showed up for your workouts and you’ve kept up your end of the bargain by showing up every day, early and ready to give him 110%. And you were ready to work now and he wasn’t here to train you but you were going to get a workout whether he was here or not.
“He’s not here, Cody! Just tell him I made you do it!” You said with a sly smile.
“What if he shows up during your lesson?!!” He asked, nervously.
“Tell him I punched you until you agreed to give me a lesson. C’mon Cody! I showed up for my workout and I’m paying for one, let’s goooooo!” You yelled.
Cody dropped his shoulders in defeat and hung his head as he contemplated whether or not he wanted to risk getting fired for helping you get your workout in.
“Alright…go get your shit. I’ll meet you in back.” Said Cody with a slight eye roll.
“YES!! Thank you, Cody! Mmmmmuah!” You exclaimed as you leaned in and planted a kiss on his cheek.
Under his breath, you could hear Cody say, “I am so getting fired for this.”
**********
“Remember to keep your weight balanced, y/n…rotate those hips when you come in with that cross…that’s it, goooood! Show me that combo again….yessss, niiiice! Your pivots still need work.” Said Cody as he coached you.
You were almost done with your workout when you heard a loud angry voice coming from the top of the stairs.
“WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU THINK YOU’RE DOING, CODY?!!!!” Growled Brock, glaring and seething at the both of you as he descended from upstairs.
Apologetically, Cody replied, “You weren’t here, Rumlow! What was I supposed to do? She paid for a lesson and wanted to work out!”
“What did I tell ya, huh?! What did I tell EVERYBODY?!!” Brock yelled, pushing his fingers into Cody’s shoulder and then pointing at you with his other hand. “SHE is MY client! MINE!”
Your mouth had gone dry as you tried to speak.
“Brock! Don’t be mad at Cody! I had to beg—“ You had started to say.
Still pointing at you, Brock turned his heated glare toward you.
“YOU stay outta this, sweetheart!” He said curtly. “YOU didn’t follow the rules either!”
Everyone in the gym had stopped what they were doing and every single pair of eyes was staring at you, Brock and Cody.
Brock shouted at the top of his lungs but never took his eyes off of you.
“ALRIGHT!! EVERYBODY OUT! C’MON, I WANT EVERYONE OUT NOW!!! I’ll re-open tomorrow but get the fuck out, NOW!” Yelled Brock.
As you started walking toward the edge of the ring, Brock stopped you.
“Not you, doll. You, stay!” He commanded and started to remove his jacket. “You’re stayin’ too, tough guy.” He said, pointing at Cody. “Drop those mitts and go get your gloves! No helmets, NOW!”
“She begged me to, Rumlow. I apologize, it will NEVER happen again.” Said Cody.
“You’re damn right it will never happen again! And I said, go get your gloves!” Brock growled. “You wanted a lesson right, sweetheart? Well you’re gonna get one.”
Cody quickly wrapped his hands and got his gloves. He got back into the ring, touched gloves with Brock’s and the two of them began to spar.
Breathing heavily, Brock said, “Cody was right, doll. You do still need work on your pivots because you’re not changing direction as smoothly as you should, like THIS.”
He changed direction and as Cody came closer, Brock hit him square in the face with a quick jab, then another as you carefully watched Brock’s fluid motions and form. Then Brock hit him with a 1-1-2 combination, simple to him but for you, it was still about working on putting everything together, trying to remember to keep your hands up, elbows down and in, and keep your eyes focused on the targets.
You could see that Cody was a little scared to fight back; he knew Brock was toying with him, punishing him one punch at a time for touching what was “his” and Cody taking it and not fighting back as hard as he could because he didn’t want to make Brock angrier than he already was.
Brock was breathless with anger and with each piercing stare, he threw every possible punch combination at Cody which was hard to watch and you needed to put a stop to it.
“Brock! Stop this, please! This is my fault! I made Cody give me my lesson because you weren’t here to do it! ENOUGH!!” You begged.
As soon as those words escaped your lips, Brock hit Cody with an uppercut that landed him face up on the mat, leaving him stunned and probably seeing stars as he stared up at the bright lights above.
You jumped into Brock’s path, in between him and Cody.
“I said that’s enough, Rumlow!” You yelled, standing in between Brock charging toward Cody who was trying to get up as you pushed on Brock’s chest with your gloved hand.
“Outta my way, y/n!” He hissed.
You hissed back, “NO!”
After Cody sat up, you told him to leave.
“NOW, sweetheart!” Brock yelled.
Looking over your shoulder, you replied, “GO, Cody! And lock the door behind you! You’ll still have your job tomorrow, I promise.”
Hurriedly, Cody ripped his gloves off, dropped them onto the mat, wiped the blood from his nose and bolted toward the front door.
As soon as you heard the door close and lock, you let him have it. You hit Brock with the most powerful cross you had in you, even keeping your form, rotating your hips and body perfectly. It landed square on his jaw as your mouth twisted with the threat of another and you added a warning glare for good measure, showing him that you weren’t afraid of him and you could handle anything he threw at you just as he had instructed you to do.
He moved his jaw back and forth to shake it out and with a devilish smirk, he said, “Not bad, sweetheart. That was good form and it even hurt a little…just a little though.”
He winked at you and when he did, you instantly felt your panties get wet but you wanted to remain firm and reiterate to him that this was not Cody’s fault.
“I told you that this was my fault! He knew what your instructions were and I bothered him until he caved.” You said, calming your tone.
Brock inched closer to you, close enough that you were sharing the same air and replied, “You knew the rules too, y/n and deliberately broke them.”
“And YOU didn’t answer me when I called you or when I texted!! I showed up ready to work and you were MIA!” You snapped.
Brock lowered his voice. The low raspy growl escaping his lips made the wet spot on your panties even bigger.
“I got here late but ya think I wasn’t watching you? I have cameras everywhere, doll. I watched the two of you from my office; his hands on your hips, breathing over your shoulder, that little shit smiling at you when you weren’t lookin’. I saw it all, sweetheart…and I hated every second of it.” He said through gnashed teeth.
You swallowed hard as his words sent fresh shivers down your spine and a surge of concentrated desire gushed through your body, straight to your core.
The breath of room between your bodies became even smaller when you inched your face closer to his while you inhaled his intoxicating scent of citrus, bergamot, sandalwood and musk.
In barely more than a whisper, as heat flushed across your chest and your lips ghosting over his, you asked, “And why is that?”
Brock broke away from you; as he started to walk backwards toward the corner of the ring, he licked his lips and laughed off your question.
“Tell me, Brock! Tell me why you hated it so much.” You demanded. “Tell me or I’m gonna punch you again!”
“You’re bein’ a little bit of a brat, sweetheart.” He husked.
With a smug look on your face, you replied, “Whatever Rumlow, I do what I want!”
With a tight jaw, he growled into your ear, “Oh no baby, you do what I want.”
He started to take his gloves off, dropped them to the mat, and stalked over to you. All in one motion, he pulled you close as his lips collided with yours and just before he could slip his tongue into your mouth, you pulled away and targeted his chin with a swift uppercut.
“What the fuck was that for?!!” He demanded, holding his jaw.
Shyly, you replied, “Sorry, I was just making sure this was real and not one of my dreams.”
“Take those things off, now! I don’t need you hittin’ me again.” Said Brock with a slight smile.
You replied, “I can still hit you without the gloves, ya know.” Then stuck your tongue out at him.
He frantically helped you take your gloves off and unwrapped your hands. As soon as they were free, you grabbed a hold of his wild dark hair and pulled him in closer until his lips were on yours once again. Brock slipped his tongue between your lips and pressed it against your teeth, desperately wanting his to twist and knot with yours. Moaning into his mouth, Brock had you locked into a firm embrace and the heat from his body could be felt through his shirt.
He nipped at your jawline before kissing the sculpted hollow of your throat. His stubble gently tickled your neck as you whispered, “You hated seeing his hands on me, didn’t you?”
Brock continued to leave little love bites up and down your neck when you aggressively pulled back on his hair, “Didn’t you?!”
“Ow!” Exclaimed Brock, when you pulled on his hair. “Yes, sweetheart. I hated seeing another guy with his hands all over you, his fingers firmly digging into your hips, turning them, grazing your ass while standing behind you…all of it made me crazy.” He growled as his cheeks flared with anger and jealousy.
“I only want your hands on me, Rumlow.” You purred into his ear.
The flecks of gold in his eyes appeared to dance when he heard your words as he replied, “Oh yeah? Anything else?”
With a sly smile, Brock touched his tongue to his top teeth which gave you an idea.
“What that tongue do, baby?” You chuckled, then bit down gently on his earlobe.
You had let your guard down, let yourself relax in his embrace so it took you by surprise when he lightly pushed you backwards, grabbed your forearm, and kicked your lead leg out from under you, then eased you gently onto the mat.
“Oh…I don’t know that you’re ready for what my tongue can do to you, doll.” He replied as he fell to his knees, grabbed the sides of your workout leggings, forcefully yanked them off and finally settled in between your legs.
Clawing for the hem of his shirt, you desperately wanted to touch his bare skin and toned body. Brock was indeed a specimen underneath his clothes and there wasn’t an ounce of him that wasn’t pure muscle. The muscles in his arms were as hard as marble and tight like bow strings just like the rest of him.
As he held himself up above you, one hand roamed from your bare thigh, up and over the curve of your hip, then his thick calloused fingers gently tickled the sensitive skin of your stomach as they inched up and underneath your shirt.
“Yes I am. I need to know if you’re as good as you are in my dreams.” You said, breathlessly.
One side of his mouth curled up into a devilish smirk, his intense gaze raked over your body before focusing on your mouth and his lips crashed insistently against yours that left you panting hard when he pulled away.
The deep V in your t-shirt left your collarbone exposed and you barely got a chance to look into his bourbon colored eyes before he leaned down to kiss it and continued to kiss in between your breasts.
“You’ve been warned, baby.” He purred.
You could feel his warm breath through the fabric of your shirt before he yanked it over your head and tossed it to the side. Brock lightly nipped at the delicate skin of your stomach, his stubble grazing and tickling you as a light giggle escaped your lips.
Naked from the waist down, you impatiently waited for him to inch closer to your core as he kissed you everywhere, pausing just above your entrance before saying, “Last chance, doll. You sure? Tell ya what…how ‘bout I just warm you up a little first?”
Just as he uttered those words, he slipped one of his thick fingers inside, teasing you like crazy, moving in and out of you, smirking at you as he did so.
Cocky little shit.
Slowly, he eased in another finger and rolled his thumb over your clit. Brock loved hearing your soft whimpers and it turned him on to see your jaw drop open as he worked his skilled fingers inside of you.
You were almost embarrassed at how wet you were for him as he eagerly sucked the taste of you off of his fingers.
“You taste so sweet, princess, like candy. Look at you, waiting patiently for me. If I use my tongue, you gonna come for me like a good girl? Hmmm?” He asked so politely, still using his fingers to warm you up.
Brock seemed to enjoy watching your twist and squirm as your strangled moans filled the empty room.
“Y-yes! Brock please!” You begged.
Your cries were music to his ears as his arms wrapped firmly around your thighs and he buried his face between your legs, holding you in place to make sure you weren’t going anywhere.
Your thighs quivered as his stubble scratched the inner part of your upper leg and you felt his tongue delve in between your folds while you immediately whimpered his name. The tiny flutters in your stomach became more intense as he made long, eager strokes with his proficient tongue and one of his hands pressed firmly against your stomach trying to keep you flush with the mat.
“Thaaaat’s it, sweetheart. Just let go for me. I want you to make me feel like I’m drowning. You can do that for me, I know you can.” He whispered.
The flutters turned into waves, growing larger, moving faster, while grinding down on his face as your orgasm approached. Your whole body shuddered as his name echoed through the gym and he lapped up every drop of your release, humming against your core, savoring your taste.
You could taste yourself on his lips and tongue as you let your fingers glide through his thick dark hair and he practically got into a fist fight with your sports bra to get you out of it which made you laugh a little.
He didn’t really give you the chance to come down from your high before he quickly stripped off the rest of his clothes and the both of you were now completely naked in his boxing ring.
Brock reached into his pants to pull out a condom.
After slipping it on, he slowly inched his face toward yours with a sinister smile across his lips before leaning down to kiss you again, his tongue curling and twisting inside your mouth with the taste of you still on his lips.
“Who says you get to be on top?” You asked rhetorically.
You quickly rolled so he was underneath you, squeezing his sides between your thighs and pinning his arms above his head.
“Ha! I pinned you, Rumlow.” You said with a warm smile.
You spoke too soon.
Just as quickly as you rolled on top of him, he rolled again and pinned you to the mat.
“I don’t get pinned, sweetheart. I do the pinning.” He stated.
His commanding words caused goosebumps to dance across your skin as he nudged your knees apart with your arms still pinned above your head. Brock lined himself up, eased his thick length into you, stretching you out slowly as a sinful call of his name escaped your lips.
Brock moved slowly, allowing you to stretch all the way out before starting to move a little faster, his cock buried so deep inside of you, it was almost too much and unholy cries of passion fled from your mouth and into his ears, making him absolutely feral for you.
Your breathy moans mixed with his powerful grunts turned both of you on and it put a sinister smile on his face as he started to drive into you harder, his cock getting coated more and more by your drenched pussy with each forceful thrust.
His pace was fast and brutal but you loved every second of it. Every time he used his tongue and his teeth on your most sensitive areas, your moans and sinful noises told him how much you loved it. And you responded by pulling his hair and digging your fingernails into his skin, leaving light scratch marks up and down his tight back muscles that made him hiss with pleasure.
Brock loved to tease too. Every time he felt your walls flutter and clench around him, he’d pause and wait for you to look up at him with slight disappointment on your face. He was toying with you just like he was toying with Cody while they sparred.
Brock was cocky enough to know that Cody wasn’t going to beat him, just like he knew that there was zero doubt he was going to make you explode, only he was in control of when it was going to happen.
Tiny beads of sweat trickled down the side of your neck as his lips skirted across your collarbone. You ignored the pain in your back against the hard mat that you were pinned against by his strong hands and body. Brock’s fingertips were pressed so firmly against your skin, that it felt like he was leaving imprints on your veins and muscles.
“Let me come, Brock! Please!” You blurted out as the overstimulation took control of your voice and he continued to hold your orgasm hostage.
But every movement he made was bringing him closer to his own climax so he wasn’t going to be able to control it for much longer.
“That’s it. Come for me, sweetheart.” He growled in your ear as he reached down and began to rub your clit while he was just about to chase his own release.
With no one around to hear you and without hesitation, you came with a loud cry while Brock continued to plunge into you at a quickened pace. He didn’t stop until he finished and with your legs wrapped around his lower back, you pulled him deeper inside and he let out a loud gravelly cry of his own.
Coming down from your high, trying to catch your breath, you pressed the palm of your hand to your forehead, and with a wide smile said, “Maybe I should break your rules more often, if you’re gonna fuck me like that, Rumlow. I really don’t see the downside here.”
Brock let out a light chuckle.
“There you go bein’ a brat again.” He said, gently touching his lips to yours.
Softly moaning against his mouth, you replied, “I think you like it when I’m a brat. Juuuuuust a little bit.”
“Well, I know I like you whether you’re being a brat or not. I just don’t like anyone else’s hands on you.” Muttered Brock.
You inched your face closer to his.
“Yes, you made that perfectly clear. Is this like your ‘thing,’ Rumlow because if it is, I don’t–” You started to say before he captured your lips again.
After a kiss that made your toes curl, he replied as he positioned himself next to you, “You think I like losin’ money like I did today, doll? No, I don’t. But I do really like you though, enough to let you punch me in the face and tug on my hair.”
You rolled onto your side and let his warm gold eyes rake all over your naked body. He let his top teeth bite down onto his bottom lip as you replied, “You like me enough to let Cody keep his job?”
Pinching your chin between his thumb and forefinger while giving you a hard eye roll, he said, “I guess he can keep his job, baby. But I don’t wanna see his hands on you again, you got that?!”
“Ok, Brock. I’ll make sure you won’t see it.” You replied with a wink.
“You really do like bein’ a brat, don’t ya? Ok, just for that…you’re gonna clean up this mess you made all over my mat. Cody ain’t here to do it so you can do it.” He said, pointing his finger at you.
You shook your head aggressively.
“Nope! YOU can do that, Mr. Rumlow. I didn’t do all of this, you helped too!” You replied.
Brock sat up and started to put his t-shirt back on.
“And what makes you think I’m gonna clean up YOUR mess, doll?” He asked.
As you slipped your leggings and the rest of your clothes back on, you leaned in, kissed him on the cheek and whispered in his ear, “Because after you’re finished with that…I’ll show you what MY tongue can do to YOU. I’ll be in the shower!”
Your words left Brock stunned as you turned to walk out of the ring. With your back facing him, you started to walk toward the locker room with the sound of quick moving feet hot on your heels.
You got a pretty decent workout today after all.

If I tagged you and you didn’t want to be, just let me know and I’ll never do it again. As always, thank you again for reading!
This was so good, Ericca! I love the bratty reader, she really is quite the match for him. I think Rumlow would need a woman like this, because he’s quite the handful. ♥️
Okay here is my ask...can you do one where Rumlow becomes a dad? Like from him finding out to baby looking at him for the first time? I'm curious how he would handle FMC having morning sickness, and all the craziness during pregnancy, and especially how he would handle her giving birth (maybe she wants to do it naturally). Thanks new friend!!
I don’t know why I had never written Rumlow as a dad before but I guess I was just waiting for the right ask and I’m SO happy you did because this was a lot of fun to write and I really hope you like it, my lovely friend♥️😘

This wasn’t supposed to happen yet. You were careful, painstakingly careful.
You always thought of yourself as being prepared for anything and everything which is why this was a complete surprise.
But there it was, right in front of your eyes and clear as day.
Two defined dark blue lines explained why you had been feeling nauseous, why you suddenly had an aversion to chicken, and why your period was late…very, very late.
You were pregnant.
Gazing down at your engagement ring, you were also nervous about what your love was going to say about it. Brock wasn’t exactly the sweet, teddy bear type. Well, he was that way with you but he was also the type to react poorly to a situation and then apologize later for it.
How were you going to tell him? Neither of you was entirely sold on the idea of having kids, but especially having kids right away. His work at SHIELD was important to him and it wasn’t exactly danger free. Brock’s work took him on missions all over the world, it sometimes put him in threatening situations and you never wanted to tell him that he had to give all that up. Not coming home to you would be one thing; it would be difficult to get through but you knew what you signed up for when you said yes but having to tell a child that their daddy isn’t coming home is different and would be even harder.
What were you going to do?
**********
After confirming your pregnancy at the doctor’s office, you finally worked up the courage to tell Brock that he was going to be a father. You created scenarios in your head, tried to figure out how you were going to talk to him if he got angry, upset, or even just completely shut himself off because he was in shock.
He wanted to go out to dinner. Brock felt guilty for spending so much time away from home lately so he wanted to try and make it up to you and after dodging questions like “What? You don’t want anything to drink?” and “I thought you loved the way they make the lemon chicken here?” It was time to tell him.
But when you arrived home, Brock had other ideas. The two of you barely walked through the door before he pulled the sweater over your head, while you reached for the button on his jeans, and devouring each other like you haven’t seen each other in months.
Tangled in each other’s limbs, his lips gently pressed against the soft skin of your shoulder as his calloused hands traveled up your thigh and came to rest on your hip. Your fingers tangled in his wild dark hair while the stubble on his chin delicately scratched your cheek and he purred in your ear.
“I’m sorry, I’ve been workin’ so much lately, doll. Forgive me?” He asked. The sexy rasp in his voice gently vibrated in your ear.
“Well when you ask so nicely, how could I not?” You said with a sly smile. “You’re so soft for me, Rumlow.”
“Yeah, yeah, you don’t need to broadcast it. No one needs to know that.” He answered back.
You could feel heat rush across your chest and you could hear your heart beating rapidly inside your ears, knowing that what you were about to say was going to change your relationship with Brock either for the better or not so much.
“I’m pregnant, Brock.” You blurted out.
“That’s not funny, sweetheart.” Replied Brock.
Biting down on your lower lip, your hands started to shake.
“I’m not joking, baby. I’ve been feeling nauseous, I missed my period, so I finally took a test and had it confirmed at the doctor’s a couple of days ago. I’m pregnant.” You said nervously.
All of the color drained from Brock’s face as he sat speechless, staring at you with his whiskey colored eyes, and working out in his head what you had just told him.
“Say something please, Brock. I know we didn’t exactly plan for this–” You had started to say before he interrupted you.
“Plan for this? We didn’t plan for this at all, doll! I thought you were on birth control?!” He asked.
“Well obviously it’s not always a sure thing, Brock! Maybe I missed a couple!” You said, visibly upset.
Quickly, he got out of bed, put his clothes on and looked at you one more time before heading for the door.
His motorcycle roared to life and you heard him drive down the street before the sounds faded and you were left alone, wondering when or if he was coming back.
**********
The next morning, as you sat at the kitchen island, sipping your coffee, you heard the bike pull into the driveway. The blood in your veins began to boil and you could feel your cheeks burning with anger. Your jaw tightened while waiting for Brock to come inside; you couldn’t wait to give him hell for just getting up and leaving like he did.
You heard his keys unlock the door and as you turned to face the door, you folded your arms protectively across your chest. Slowly, the doorknob turned and he stepped inside with a very pathetic look on his face like a puppy that just chewed your favorite shoes.
“Where the hell have you been?!! I haven’t had time to be worried about you because I’ve been busy being pissed off and that’s putting it nicely, Brock!!” You shouted.
“I’m sorry, doll. I shouldn’t have—“ Brock started to say before you cut him off.
“Shouldn’t have what? Left me in the middle of the night? For making me feel like a piece of trash because you left right after you fucked me? I’m going to be your wife, Rumlow! You can’t just leave like that!” You continued.
“I know! And I’m sorry, sweetheart! I don’t know what the etiquette is for when the woman you love unexpectedly tells you that she’s pregnant.” He replied.
You retorted with, “Is it ever fully expected, Brock? You think I wasn’t floored when I saw the results of that pregnancy test, telling me that I’m gonna be a mom? I felt alone and scared! And even more so when you left without a word after I FINALLY worked up the courage to tell you. Where did you even go, anyway?”
Brock tossed his keys on the counter, walked over to the cabinet to get a cup and poured himself some coffee.
“I drove around for awhile, ended up on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial and found myself just staring out at the reflecting pool. I know I shouldn’t have left like that but you know I react first and think later. It’s not my best trait and I’m so sorry.” Said Brock, sheepishly.
He reached into his leather jacket and pulled out a small stuffed bunny that he probably bought at the drugstore. Brock handed it to you. It felt so soft as you let the fabric glide through your fingers and your lips curled into a slight smile.
Tears stung the back of your eyes as you walked over to him and snaked your arms around his neck. Brock set his cup down on the counter so he could pull your body flush to his and he locked his hands around your waist. The gaze of his amber colored eyes locked onto yours before he buried his face into the crook of your neck.
Brock let out a gentle exhale that warmed your chilled skin and he softly pressed his lips to your collarbone before saying again, “I’m sorry, sweetheart. I love you.”
“I love you too, Brock.” You replied. “You still gonna love me, when you can’t reach me because my belly is in the way?”
“Of course, doll.” He said.
You chuckled a little.
“That is the correct answer, Mr Rumlow.” You said.
His expression softened and became a little more serious before saying, “Well, there is something we need to change right away.”
Confused, you replied, “What’s that, baby?”
“We need to change your last name.” Said Brock.
The corners of your mouth curled into a wide smile as your lips collided with his. You were engaged but had dragged your feet at setting a wedding date yet so even though this isn’t exactly the way you wanted it to happen, you were very happy about it.
“What did you have in mind, handsome?” You asked.
A sly smile stretched across Brock’s lips as he replied, “I have an idea.”
**********
Brock wasn’t exactly a fly-by-the-seat-of-his-pants type of guy so when he proposed the two of you elope, you were very surprised but happy at the same time. It would be one less thing to worry about before the baby comes.
After a wedding and short honeymoon in the Bahamas, it was time to prepare for Baby Rumlow’s arrival which wasn’t easy but it was especially tough for Brock.
Between the doctor’s appointments, work, trying to find time to work on the nursery, and fluctuating hormones, the two of you were exhausted.
Brock had been burning the candle at both ends, going on more missions in the early parts of your pregnancy so he could be home more for the later months in case you needed anything.
But now you have reached that stage in your pregnancy where you were horny all…the…time.
“You sure you’re ok, doll?” He asked.
“I’m not gonna break, Rumlow.” You said with a smirk.
Your little belly separated the two of you as you straddled him on the couch. He was surprised you practically tackled him when he walked through the door. Between the morning sickness and the exhaustion, there wasn’t a lot of intimacy in those first three months but that fourth month hit and you were ready to make up for lost time.
After you removed his black t-shirt, your kisses were aggressive, all tongue and teeth, as you gently tugged on his wild dark brown hair and his fingers gently danced up and down your spine. You reached for the button on his jeans as his thick fingers traveled up your thigh, underneath your skirt and touched the wet spot on your panties. Brock kicked off his pants and helped you slip out of your long skirt as you firmly planted your knees on either side of his hips once again.
“You don’t wanna go to the bedroom, sweetheart?” He asked.
The raspy tone to his voice has always been such a turn on for you. The purr in your ear made you extremely wet and there was no way you were going to pause this to go to the bedroom. You wanted him now and let him know it by stroking him, feeling him get harder by the second, while he let out a strangled moan and you shook your head “no.”
Brock pinched your chin between his thumb and forefinger before insistently pressing his lips to yours. His days-old stubble gently scratched against your chin as he parted your lips with his tongue and his fingers dipped below the line of your panties but not before he lightly cradled your little bump. A quiet whimper fell from your lips as he parted your folds with one finger, teasing you, circling your clit, and hitting that special spot.
“You’re dripping down my hand, baby. You need this too, don’t you.” He growled.
He curled his talented fingers inside, making you lightheaded as your walls began to tighten around him. Brock’s other hand fit around your neck like a choker as your eyes fluttered closed; he knew you were close as you mewled his name.
“You’re too quiet, doll. Come for me, y/n, let me hear you, then I’ll give you what you really want.” He said in a grating whisper.
His words went straight to your core and your release hit you hard and fast, calling out his name loudly and causing your voice to break. Leaning down, you grazed your teeth along his jawline as his lips curled into a sly grin.
“That’s it, that’s my good girl.” He praised you.
Still coming down from your high, Brock managed to remove his boxer briefs and your panties before lining himself up and sliding into you with ease, smiling as he heard your breath hitch and captured your lips again in a forceful kiss; he let out a low growl as you started to roll your hips and pulling him in close so you could move in tandem. With quick snaps of his hips underneath you, your second orgasm started to stir and your thighs stiffened with every shallow thrust causing you to clench around him.
You were so close to just falling apart, strangled moans and other sinful noises continued to fall from your lips which made him work harder to push you over the edge and chase his own release.
“Brock!” You cried out.
With his arms wrapped tightly around your waist, he spilled into you as you crumpled on top of him, your chests heaving, trying to catch your breath. Brock started to kiss the sculpted hollow of your throat when he felt the tiniest of flutters in your belly, pressed against his.
“Holy shit, what the fuck is that?” He asked in a shocked tone.
“She’s kicking, Brock.” You said then quickly clamped your hands over your mouth.
At your last ultrasound, the tech asked if you wanted to know the baby’s sex and you both decided you wanted to be surprised, well, actually YOU decided. Brock wanted to know because then he could have a little more control and know what to expect but he was overruled. So instead, they put the sex of the baby in an envelope in case you changed your mind.
“SHE?! You little sneak! You looked at the ultrasound anyway after you gave me shit for wanting to know what we were having!” Said Brock with a wide smile.
Biting down on your lower lip, you tried to stop yourself from smiling but you failed miserably.
“Ok, I know I said I wanted to be surprised but I lied. Or rather, I changed my mind.” You replied. “You mad?”
Brock gently placed his hand against your growing belly as the flutters continued. His smile was genuine and he really looked happy.
“Nah, I ain’t mad, sweetheart.” He said with a wink.
His stubble tickled your lips as you kissed him on the cheek and said, “Oh yay, now we can pick out all things pink!”
He quickly replied with a hard eye roll and said, “Can we go easy on the pink please, y/n?”
“How ‘bout pink and black?” You asked.
Brock held his hand out in between the two of you and said, “Deal.”
**********
Baby girl Rumlow was getting bigger by the day and so was your stomach. It was becoming increasingly more difficult to sit up after sleeping, to see your feet, and even just to get comfortable.
“So when do you stop going to work?” Brock asked one evening after your shower.
You narrowed your eyes at him and replied in a confused tone, “What do you mean, baby?”
“I mean, you’re gettin’ pretty big, doll. You gotta be thinkin’ about stopping working until after the baby, right?” He replied.
Oh, he’s so lucky he’s handsome.
“I’m sorry, did you just say ‘BIG?’” You asked through clenched teeth.
He interrupted you, “Ok now, I didn’t mean it that way, sweetheart. You know that. I was only thinkin’ of YOU. I know how tough it’s been lately for you to get comfortable, to walk around, shit like that.”
Without warning, tears welled up in your eyes and before you could try and stop yourself, they were streaming down your face. It had been happening more as it was getting closer to your due date and everything was hitting you all at once. You were tired, hormonal, and absolutely terrified of being a mom but everyone told you it was all normal, although it didn’t make it any easier to try and control.
“Aside from moments like these—“ You started to say, pointing to the tears in your eyes, “I feel fine, Brock. The doctor said that as long as I don’t have any issues or the baby isn’t in distress, I’m fine to work until I’m due.”
“Well, what if I don’t want you workin’?” Said Brock.
“Baby, I’m not on my feet all the time unless I want or need to be. I’m fine.” You said, pouring your tea.
You baby girl started to move around. She was very active in the evening hours and loved to stretch out, jabbing you in the side with her feet and hands. It wasn’t just a quick kick to the ribs and she was done…NOPE! Her stretches caused you to wince and you tried to move her feet to a different spot that wasn’t so painful.
“Oof…” You said, pressing on your belly.
Brock reached out to gently touch your stomach.
“What? What is it? Is it time?!” He asked nervously.
You smiled and chuckled a little at Brock’s concern for you. It was really sweet.
Shaking your head, you replied, “No, no, baby. I’m fine—here…” You said, grabbing his hand and placing it on the side of your bump. “You feel that? She’s stretching. That’s her heel you’re feeling.”
Brock Rumlow was a man of few words and he had even less to say while he was feeling his baby move around. His lips curled into a wide smile as his strong hands followed her hands and feet around your bump.
“That’s…wow. That’s really somethin’, doll.”
You were getting close to your due date and felt enormous but everything was in order, the nursery was done, and you couldn’t wait to meet her. Now all you had to do was settle on a name which was a process because every name you liked, Brock would veto and every name he suggested, you didn’t like.
“She still needs a name, baby.” You said.
Brock inched closer, until you were sharing the same air and you could see his facial features up close. The laugh lines around his whiskey colored eyes were prominent but they made him so ruggedly handsome and hard to resist when he was this close to you.
He bypassed your lips and leaned down to kiss the sweet spot on your neck that you loved so much, the gentle scratches of his beard tickled your throat and neck as he peppered kisses up and down the side of your neck which made you giggle.
He replied, “I’m sure we’ll figure it out. We still have time.”
**********
Although, the time you did have left wasn’t much and it went by very quickly.
You had started sleeping on top of a large beach towel in case your water broke while you were sleeping and you woke up one night a couple of days before your due date to a decent amount of pain shooting across your stomach and an empty spot next to you in bed where Brock was supposed to be.
Shit.
Picking up your phone off of the nightstand, you quickly checked to see if you had any messages from Brock which you did. He said he had a quick job locally he had to do, just to the airport and back to SHIELD, then he would be home.
The contractions were unlike anything you’ve experienced before so more than likely you were in labor…and Brock wasn’t there.
In his texts, Brock said it wouldn’t take long but how long could you wait? He didn’t answer when you called and you tried him a few times so you decided to text him.
I think she’s coming, baby. I’ll meet you at the hospital. If you miss this, don’t plan on coming home…I’m sorry, I love you but I’m hormonal and scared to death.
On your way out the door, you picked up your bag that you remember packing a few months ago, the little outfits you picked out for her to wear home and everything you needed for your time in the hospital.
It was 2:30 in the morning and the city was quiet. You stared out of the car window as your Uber driver raced to the hospital, there wasn’t a lot going on besides the bright lights above the sidewalk, a few people walking beneath them, and you wondered where your husband was. Hopefully he was alright.
Before arriving at the hospital, you had called your doctor to tell him you were in labor or at least you thought you were and you tried Brock one more time before checking in…still no answer.
The contractions were painful and as you lay in bed, hooked up to all the machines, you wondered where Brock was and why did your daughter have to pick tonight when her father wasn’t home to start her journey into this world.
The noises inside and outside of your hospital room were tuned out by your brain and your thoughts. You probably checked your phone every 15 seconds to see if Brock had at least texted but he hadn’t. He still had time though because you were only a few centimeters dilated.
You had been resting for a little while, dealing with the contractions as they came when the doctor came in to check to see how your labor was progressing.
“How are my patients doing?” Asked Dr. Kalla as he walked through the door.
Before the door closed all the way, you thought you heard some commotion, yelling, and something hitting the floor but you didn’t think anything of it.
“Fine, Dr. Kalla. They seem like they’re getting closer.” You replied, just as he started to check how far along you were.
Dignity was out the window when it came to labor and delivery so it only made sense that Brock practically broke down the door while you were being checked by your doctor.
He took one look at the doctor and then yelled, “What the fuck do you think you’re doin’, guy?!!!”
Brock was ready to knock the doctor to the floor when you yelled at him, “BROCK, STOP!! Dr. Kalla was just checking my labor progression! What is the matter with you?!!”
Dr. Kalla was finishing his check when Brock’s friend, Jack Rollins, stuck his head in the room to say, “Rumlow…I’m gonna go park the truck.” He paused, looked at the doctor, then looked at you and continued, “Whoa…heyoooooo!”
“I’m gonna kill you!” Yelled Brock and started to chase Jack out of the room.
Ripping the cool wash cloth off of your forehead, you yelled at Brock, “I’m gonna kill YOU, Rumlow! I’m so sorry, Doctor. He’s a big dumb animal.”
The doctor replied, “It wouldn’t have been the first time a husband has knocked me out. You’re progressing quickly. You can still have the epidural if you want to but I know you said you wanted to do this naturally. Is that still your plan?”
A contraction was hitting right at that moment.
You took a minute to breathe through it before answering, “Yes, that’s still my plan but thank you and again, I am so sorry about him.”
“I’ll be back in a little bit to check you again.” The doctor said.
“Hey doc, I’m really sorry.” Said Brock.
“It’s your first baby, I’ll give you a pass. Enjoy these last moments as a family of two.” He said with a kind smile and closed the door behind him.
Your smile quickly disappeared as the door closed and through gnashed teeth, you said, “I cannot believe you, Rumlow! He’s a DOCTOR!!”
“Well, what was I supposed to think, I rush in here and another man has his fingers inside of you!” He growled back.
Fighting the pain of a contraction, you replied, “Again, he’s a doctor!! You didn’t recognize him?!! He’s been my doctor for a handful of appointments!”
“Alright, alright, doll. I’m sorry, ok? I’m sorry I was out on a job, I’m sorry I almost knocked the doctor’s teeth out, I’m just…sorry.” Said Brock, kissing your forehead.
It really was hard to stay mad at him so you just decided to switch gears and move on.
“It’s ok, Brock. She’ll be here soon, ya know.” You said. “Ow, ow, ow!”
“Seems like she wants out now.” Brock said with a wide smile.
“Are we ready for this?” You asked with a hitch in your voice.
He moved a stray hair away from your eyes and replied, “Ready as we’ll ever be, doll. She’s comin’ whether we’re ready or not.”
**********
The next time the doctor checked, he broke your water, said you were close and it will almost be time to push. Breathing through your contractions with quick inhales and exhales, your eyes fluttered closed at the really bad ones and Brock was there to hold your hand through all of them.
Expecting the doctor, the door opened but it was Jack that walked in.
“I’m here to check the patient.” He joked, holding two fingers in the air.
“Get outta my room, Jack!” You shouted at him through a rather painful contraction.
A devilish grin stretched across Jack’s lips as he replied, “I’m kidding, y/n! I’m kidding! I just wanted to see how you were doin’ and if you needed anything.”
“Who are you and what have you done with the real Jack Rollins?” You asked.
Jack replied, “I’m just gonna say, I’ll be right outside if you’re ready to have another one put in you when this one is out.”
Jack ran for the door as Brock chased him.
“Get outta my wife’s room and you don’t get to come back until the baby is out!” Shouted Brock.
After Jack slipped out of the room, the doctor came back.
“You ready to push y/n? It’s time to meet your baby.” Said Dr. Kalla.
You nodded as Brock kissed the top of your head and helped you get into position.
It was chaotic in your room, to say the least. Doctors and nurses everywhere, Brock holding your leg, telling you to push, and you focusing on desperately wanting to meet your baby daughter.
And after a handful of pushes, some very strong curse words, and encouragement from everyone around you, your little girl finally graced everyone with her presence and she was very vocal about it.
The picture of perfection, little Natalie Elizabeth Rumlow was finally here and she was so worth the wait.
All you wanted to do was stare at her, the perfect tiny combination of you and Brock fit in the crook of your arms like she was always meant to be there. And your husband couldn’t stop smiling.
“It’s obvious I’ve never really held a baby before, isn’t it?” He asked.
You returned a smile and replied, “Eh, maybe a little…but not too bad.”
The door opened slowly and Jack peeked in, holding a stuffed unicorn, “Is it safe? Has the screaming stopped? I’d like to meet her.”
“It’s safe…come on in, Uncle Jack.” You said.
Jack was actually a natural when it came to holding babies.
“If you tell anyone I’m soft when it comes to babies, I’ll fuckin’ kill you, Rumlow!” Said Jack.
That made you both laugh.
Natalie’s first visitor was her Uncle Jack but many more visitors of family and friends followed after him, of course she slept through most of it like newborns do, only waking up to be fed and changed.
And after they all had gone home, it was just the three of you finally alone and you were exhausted.
“You think I’ll be good at this Dad thing, sweetheart?” Asked Brock, watching Natalie sleep.
“I do, baby. But just remember that nobody’s perfect. We’ll both make mistakes, I’m sure.” You replied.
“You’ll have to help me.” He said.
You gently touched Natalie’s head, her wild dark hair reminded you a lot of her dad’s.
“We’ll help each other, baby.” You said with a warm smile.
Brock inched closer to you and planted a gentle kiss on your lips.
“I love you.” Whispered Brock.
You whispered back, “I love you too.”
**********
Three Months Later
“Why?!! She’s just a tiny baby! Why?!” Asked Brock, flustered and pacing back and forth in the exam room.
“It’s just that time, baby. It’s not like she’s gonna remember.” You said. “I told you that you didn’t have to come if you didn’t want to.”
It was time for Natalie’s first shots and it probably was a mistake to bring Brock with you but you thought maybe he could comfort you too. It wasn’t easy watching those needles pierce her skin and seeing her cry but you handled it better than Brock did.
In the car, on the way home, you took a phone call from the doctor’s office.
“Yes, I completely understand. Thank you.” You said and hung up.
Brock asked, “What did they say?”
“Yeah, they said you’re not allowed to come with me anymore!” You yelled.
“So I got a little upset, what’s the big deal?!” He asked with a shrug.
You playfully punched him in the shoulder.
“You made those nurses cry, Brock! THAT’S the big deal!” You said.
“Serves them right for hurting my little girl.” He said. “So I’m really not allowed back?”
“Not unless those nurses recover from their PTSD!” You hissed.
A sly smile appeared on Brock’s face as he said with a chuckle, “Totally worth it. It’s a story I’ll be able to tell her when she’s older.”
Biting back a smile, you couldn’t do anything but shake your head at him. You reached out and brushed his cheek with your knuckles. Brock turned his head quickly to kiss your hand, Natalie was babbling to herself in her carseat, and you were endlessly in love with both of them.
She really was the best unexpected surprise you didn’t know you wanted but now couldn’t live without.

Ericca! I missed you, I’ve been thinking about you. 🥰
I love this. You definitely kept Brock in character with him running off after finding out she was pregnant. I like how you made her feel scared and alone, but she didn’t let Brock off the hook for being an asshole despite that.
