This has been my main argument against "AI" from the very beginning.

OpenAI scraped the entire web. All of which had been a labor of love from humans. Wikipedia is the backbone of a lot of LLMs, and that was volunteer human labor. They stole it and now they're selling it back to us.

And worse, they're trying to destroy the free sources that they stole from. It's destruction of human knowledge on an unprecedented scale. The burning of the library of Alexandria has nothing on this.

Between Kane Parsons' recent success with the Backrooms movie, Markiplier's Iron Lung, and The Amazing Digital Circus Last Act (as well as indie animation as a whole), I genuinely believe that this is a start of a renaissance for film and television.

It's undeniable proof to all the big film companies (I'm looking at you, Disney) that the general populace want media made with heart and soul, and made with fresh ideas and creative writers.

Maybe I'm a little idealistic, but I truly think that if change is going to happen, it's going to be now.

I also admit that I'm viewing it from the side that prefers this type of thing, so I have at least a little bias. But still

One of the ways I add Whimsy into my life, is I like to use pseudo-swears/exclamations from book series!

So I get nitrous oxide whenever I go to the dentist because panic attacks are even less fun when someone has both their hands in my mouth. And I also like to listen to music to help distract me from any potential pain or terrible sounds.

However, this has led me to have an interesting experience.

Listening to Jack Stauber's Baby Hotline with headphones while high on laughing gas is probably the closest thing I can imagine to what a hardcore drug trip feels like
