I have a very random headcanon that Ren is not a man who goes to public bathhouses. The only one he ever visits is Funbari Onsen.

A lot of the time when he's in Japan this is because he literally can't - dude's got a full back tattoo. The fact that Anna chooses to ignore this and would throw out anyone who complained is simply coincidence, of course.

But people who don't know Ren aren't just looking at his tattoo. They look at the prominent scars. Look at the muscle, and the wealth and how well put together he is, and all of these things wordlessly spell out Yakuza. Or Triad. Something dark and dangerous. Guilty, no matter how clean his hands appear to be.

So when people look - and people always look, it's not with respect or admiration. It's with fear. Caution. And despite the perfectly plausible explanations for all of these things - some of them things that Ren never had any choice over - the way people look at him undressed in a public bathhouse is both condemnation and the truth.

And Ren hates to be reminded of how much he hates himself.

The biggest challenge for me was adapting Yoh to my own style. But what can you do when characters with forehead-baring hairstyles just never worked out for me? 😆

Recently I was complaining to my internet friends that there’s not enough art of my favorite pairing. To which my friend replied: “You can draw the content yourself.” And from that moment on, I locked in.

4 mins late for hororen day but I managed something! Hororen was my first ever OTP. I remember being 12 and drawing them so poorly, but they were my everything.

I have my phases where they are all I think about, but largely I've calmed down about them. They still have a special spot in my heart being babies first OTP.
