Good news! No longer being a wuss about food. I'm avoiding using measuring cups and measuring spoons, plus avoiding counting or even looking at calories.
How I stay fit though, is using the instinct to stop and "eyeball" the measurements. It is helping me feel both in control and totally free from restriction at the same time. This change in my eating behavior was gradual but it happened and I feel great about it!
Remember to walk DAILY and eat what you want when you want to avoid single-sitting snack binges. For sugar addicts, drinking FRUIT smoothies daily for 2 weeks will eliminate candy or sweet carb cravings. But stay consistent or they will come back with a vengeance. Stay well-fructosed and carbed up!
