I'd never seen this ad before but it really paints a different picture of his mother. In Rocketman she was manipulative and emotionally distant, but here she seems proud to the point of tears.

And Elton saying when he saw Billy Elliott before it came out and the end bit where Billy’s dad comes to see him and it got to Elton so much because his dad never did that and how it felt like it was meant to be that Jamie became Bernie.
