Weddings have always been a big affair for Indian families. And we want every moment of it to be captured. Modern day wedding photographers have replaced the old school photographers. But the weird thing is that instead of capturing the moments, they start creating them by making the couples pose, which makes it an event of the photographers only where the couples are conscious and keep posing for the cameras instead of living that moment. I agree that the final product comes out to be really mesmerising. But in this case, the ‘behind the scenes’ of that output is the ‘main event’, unlike a mere photoshoot. Jamali Kamali Mosque • Mehrauli Archaeological Park has preserved historic gems for around 1000 years. It has witnessed the times of many rulers, from Tomars & Chauhans to Lodhis & Mughals, even British Raj. • Jamali was a poet during Lodhi and Mughal times (until Humayun). His tomb lies adjacent to this mosque on his name. Next to Jamali’s grave is Kamali’s grave.
