When u cant sleep, paint or drink want beer.. and since I never drank alcohol, I’ve always painted .. I was once drunk in my life with maybe 17yrs or so and told myself this is shit. Since then I only drink a glass of good expensive bourbon, or rosé for NYE. But I usually don’t drink at all. I drink water or tea, I don’t like Softdrinks as well and I’ve stopped coffee some while ago. I’m a passionate taster that’s why I love teas from all over the world, but especially some good African or Asian mixture will make my heart beat faster. In my neighborhood I grew up with the taste and smell of African tea - and I still think it is the most magical thing in the world! One of my favorite portraits I have done for my Veela project some years ago. I’m still struggling with my book and it’s just not coming to an end. Probably because I’ve failed many times to make it the way I’ve wanted it to be. Still, I love all the portraits I did. My mentor said I should keep the black and white version and I did. About 12 years ago I’ve recorded myself reciting Rilke for an animation I did.. then about ten years ago I’ve just wanted to upload it so I don’t lose it. My windows media player skills were a mess but I like to remember what I did before. Many didn’t like it, but I must say I’ve learned a lot from it, especially to love myself even others think I’m weird.
