The crossroads

Edel: I don't have a lot of time left..... Benny. My heart was stolen by... by a very wicked man. Soon enough… I’ll slow down, and… more and more of me will… become… a tree.

Benny: I-- Edel-- Let me help you. There has to be a way. It's not too late. It can't be.

As he is saying this, Edel, you... see Benny, in front of you. And then behind him, further away, where you came from, you see the empty gallows. Well, they were empty. They’re not empty anymore. The carriage passes, and you see a body hanging there, lifeless, grey, and the breeze turning it slowly. And as Benny is speaking, the figure is recognizable to you. It is the lifeless face of your friend, Sir Benicio.

mostly I wanted to draw Edel lunging at Benny in a panic and Benny reflexively folding his free arm around them to turn and see what they were looking at, and then somehow a whole illustration happened~

and Now i have completed dark souls 3 for real

#dark souls #dark souls 3 #i ended my game by giving gael's blood to the little girl in the burning painting #and then i just sat down beneath the window next to her. and that's where i left it #i made sure that the flame would not be kindled again. i took out every lord who had a chance. i ruined lives and destroyed everything #but someday there will be someplace calm where people will live #that's enough #man i'm so glad i played dark souls #i think i will take a break before jumping into like elden ring or sekiro #but man. that was fun #i loved those games
