I just love mandalas. I learned how to make them pretty easily a couple years ago, and it’s one of the design projects I love going back to every now and then. This one was really inspired by that Jungalow trend. You can order products or art prints of this mandala in my Society6 shop:

I made this to celebrate when I changed my last name to my new married name. The tutorial unfortunately required you to use a photo of a red piece of wax, so I feel like it was a little cheap as far as tutorials go. But the end result was nice.
I followed a tutorial from Tuts Plus to make this winter scene. I was trying to learn more about clipping masks and gradient meshes. It was challenging, and I felt like some of the instructions left out parts that made it kind of hard to follow. But I do have a little more experience in those little used areas now.
I’ve been so obsessed with this Fauxsaics trend. This was my first attempt at it. I think it came out pretty well. It takes a long time to draw, but that’s not really the part I mind. I think I need to work most on perfecting the colors and shadowing. I’m not really sure how to do that though — I guess just trial and error.
