hello i need money and its absolutely draining my mental state cuz im stressing out so hard over this shit bapey !!!
sob story warning ahead!!
i have 2 reasons i need to save up to 2k to travel to el salvador! one, i need to get some dental work done cuz i have horrible teeth and its WAY WAY WAAAY cheaper down there than it is in the states, my mom was saying around 30 per cavity and i probably need root canals as well, so we’re estimating around $1000 for all that but we dont know for sure.
the other reason, this one being way more important to me, is that my grandma on my moms side is 71 years old and we’re pretty sure she’s dying. shes been in and out of the hospital for surgeries that me and my family helped pay for, and my mom hasn’t seen her in over 20 years while ive never seen her ever. id love to meet my grandma and im scared of being the reason why my mom wont get to see her mom one last time before she dies. as far as i know, shes my last biological grandparent. left. both grandparents on my dads side died when i was around 13, we don’t talk about my biological grandpa on my mom side, hes basically cut from the family, and then theres my grandma.
i want to meet my grandma before she passes away, and i know she is incapable of coming down here because its too expensive for her to afford the traveling + her husband (my step grandpa) is 91 years old and needs to have her around. the need to see her asap cuz idk when the fuck shes gonna die ! is stressing me out like hell and my mental health has deteriorated a lot to the point i had to quit my job because i couldnt handle the stress of that and worrying over this!! its a big mess but im looking into getting a new job fdjfnsd
the goal for 2k comes from the $1000 for dental work, $500-600 for a ticket, $106 (?) for the passport, and the rest of the funds to help my grandma while there.
this is the amount i have in my savings, i sent $50 to my best friend who could barely afford his bills and was on the brink of losing his car and insurance and job, and he’s promised to pay me back as he knows my situation, so the real total would be
i need to save at the minimum $1245 more
