We all know that one person that takes stereotypes and religion too seriously. This person will always push his thoughts on you. Whether you like it or not they're always going to force their crummy ideas into your little brain. Specifically the person I'm talking about is this weird lady who worked at a church I attended. Her name, let's say was ms.Jones. Im not sure what her job was and I don't care. Quite frankly, anytime I was dragged by the collar into Sunday school I was bored to death. You wouldn't be able to get me to read a Bible even if my life (or yours) depended on it. Now don't get me wrong, I don't have anything against Christians or churches for that matter. Im just not interested in learning what I don't believe in. I just don't believe in the holy ghost or jesus christ. I mean come on, they killed a guy thinking it would open the heavens. Then he wakes up after three days and pulls a few magic tricks. Any time I was told to read the bible I fell asleep within three pages. The only exception was the revelations. There is always something about the grim unknown that fascinates me. It might have been because I was fascinated with the idea Ms.Jones would disappear during the rapture and leave me in peace. Not the nicest thing for me to say I know. Anyway, back to Ms.Jones. I had been talking to my friend Perry after the service about random topics. We were in the middle of discussing how people's minds sometimes are unusually on the same page. I'm meaning like eating the same things, dressing the same way and finishing each other's sentences. It sounds crazy but it happens. My guess was that our brain waves can tune into a synch channel and share information. Before we could discuss it, Ms.Jones interrupted me. Her boney hands and pointy nails dug into my shoulder as she gave me a smile that I oh so loathed. She started to lecture us about the Holy Ghost and any argument I made was shot down as devils spit. If you disagree with me that's fine but don't rub it in my face that I may not know anything. Seriously, if you feel the need to make me conform to your ideas, keep it to yourself after the five thousandth time I refuse your idea. I really would have sold my soul multiple times if only I could have been deaf long enough to skip her lectures or at least zip her damn mouth shut for good. By the time her lecture ended, I could feel my eyes starting to droop again. Perry grabbed my arm and dragged me outside so she wouldn't bug us again. The fresh air did me good but I decided not to go back there any more after a couple more arguments. One was because of my metal music and the other was because of my dark clothing choices. As if those mattered, she thought I was a Satanist. My nicknames didn't help either nor did my name Lilith. But as I said, she's one of those people that takes stereotypes and religion too seriously. As I learned over the time I spent there, you can't argue with a crazy old bat, much less one that won't shut her mouth for more than ten seconds. I'm going to stop here now, and try not to be too much of a hypocrite. I'm not going to tell you that what she said isn't right, just that I don't believe it and, I respect your opinion as a reader too. Anyway that's my experience, I won't force the rest of my life story on you as well.
