Could I please request pregnancy headcannons with Aizawa with a fem partner who’s a hero and teacher like him? Like his reaction to finding out about the baby, how he acts during the pregnancy and maybe even a worst case scenario where reader gets kidnapped while heavily pregnant or goes into labor in the most inconvenient place imaginable? Aizawa who found out because Mic couldn’t keep his mouth shut. Well, Mic didn’t know you were pregnant. It was more like he’d heard someone throwing up in the staff bathroom, and since he lacks boundaries, he felt it was necessary to check in, and lo and behold there you were. You had an idea of what was wrong but wanted to confirm before telling your husband. But no, Mic just had to go hunt the poor man down, screaming way louder than necessary, practically informing the entire school.
Aizawa whose class was shocked, they knew you were close, but not that close. They had no clue that the two of you were married until the door of their classroom was bashed in, with their English teacher yelling at their teacher that his WIFE was sick.. It was probably even more surprising when actual emotion flashed on their teacher's face before he “calmly” left the room with Mic.
Aizawa who finds you in the nurses office. Finds you chatting away with Recovery Girl. Chatting away while you stood there holding three sticks in your hand. He lets out a gruff huff to get your attention, and the smile you flash at him eases all his worries instantly. He watches Mic and Recovery Girl leaving the office, allowing the two of you some privacy. “What was wrong? Are you okay?” “Yeah, I’m fine. Here look.” You’d passed him the sticks you’d been holding onto, when he finally gets a good look at them, he realises they’re pregnancy tests, all of which are positive. All the worry comes flooding back instantly. He masks it with a small smile, while bringing you into a strong hug, though he’s silent.
Aizawa who’s shitting bricks. He never really saw himself being a dad. Never saw himself in charge of a tiny person fully dependent on him. Well, you too but he gets really in his head about it. The two of you are pros; What if something happened to the two of you? He didn’t want a child to suffer the same way Kota did because of him. Because he wasn’t strong enough. He’s horrified by what someone might do to your child to spite the two of you. He won’t completely shut you out, but he’ll probably be fully consumed by his thoughts for a few days. But he’ll make sure you’re fully aware he’s not upset with you. He’s not locking himself in another room, he’s still beside you, just silent.
Aizawa who begs you for weeks to step away from hero work. He’ll bind you with his cloth just to get you to sit there and listen. (He’s gentle ofc.) He’ll sit you down and go over everything. How it’s not something he’s willing to risk. Your safety is his top priority, along with the baby’s. So yes, he is willing to talk you out of taking a break as a hero. BUT he’s willing to compromise, the two of you decide that you’ll continue to work as a teacher at the school, continuing to train the students. But when you’re further along, you’ll take maternity leave. And that works for the two of you. You can sympathise with him, sure you can defend yourself, you’re strong and independent but! He does bring up valid points, he doesn’t want to worry about losing the two most important people in his life. But if it ever came to it, he’d choose you over the baby anyday. There's only one of you.
Aizawa who’s there for your every want and need. He’s perfectly fine with going out at 2am for any pregnancy craving you may have, even if it was his only early night this week, even if he’s got early morning training with his students. He’ll sit with you in the bathroom, rubbing your back. For as long as it takes, he won’t complain about a stiff back either, he knows you’re going through far worse. He’ll hold your bump for you, relieving you of the weight, even if for only a minute. He knows very well not to take any mood swings to heart. Knows you’re just going through it and that you DO still love him. He’s absolutely in love with you, despite your insecurities about the changes to your body. He’s still utterly obsessed, the pregnancy glow just adds to it all.
Aizawa who thought everything was going fine. And it was, until there was an emergency that required as many heroes as possible, they’d asked for heroes to come out of retirement to help aid, and more importantly to him, they asked for you. And against his wishes you agree. And it’s a shitshow. Things are exploding left and right, the communication systems went down, and people were split up. By the end of it all, he realises the search party is still looking for the group you were with. Somehow all five of you were missing, it was only then that they realised a few villains had managed to escape.
Aizawa who can’t eat or sleep for the two days your group is missing. But the second word slips that someone found a lead, he’s right there on the front lines. (Despite the fact he’s in no shape to do so.) He’s so relieved to see you, you’re perfectly fine, untouched. In fact all of you were, the villains planned on using you for ransom, but were too scared to do so. They were just lucky enough to catch you all off guard with some quirk cancelling and sleep inducing drugs. He’s by your side from that moment to the very second you’re released from the hospital. He hadn’t left once, still hadn’t slept or had a decent meal. He was solely focused on you and the baby. Seeing him in that state further pushed you to take your leave early, finally understanding what exactly he meant. So you’d spent the rest of the pregnancy at home, with the comforting presence of Eri.
Aizawa whose class practically begs to throw you a baby shower the second they find out you're pregnant. Of course that’s also Mic’s fault. Announcing to the whole school that you’d left because you were pregnant. He’s silent, but doesn’t stop them from planning. He pretends not to hear anything they say, but he’s listening to every word. Then one day, they tell him to bring you in the following Friday, and once again he ignores them. That Friday his class is left disappointed when he walks into the last period alone. But that disappointment only lasts a few minutes before you pop your head in the door. “Am I late?” The class is practically hollering. Mina and Ochaco had basically arranged a gift basket for you while a few of the other students brought in what little they could on a high schoolers budget.
Aizawa whose students continuously ask for updates on you. While he pretends to find it annoying, he secretly enjoys talking about the growing fetus. How they’re about the side of a pineapple this week.
Aizawa who was completely unprepared for when the baby came. Or at least that's what he thinks. He’d already gotten all the hospital bags prepped well in advance, furniture built, clothes and diapers ready; He was simply overly paranoid. The baby did however decide to come two weeks early, and at a really inconvenient time at that. During the Hero Billboard Chart jp ceremony. You’d placed in 10th so unfortunately you had to make an appearance, while heavily pregnant. But you did it for the fans who brought you there. The baby just decided they also wanted to make themselves known…in front of a very large live audience. Your husband is very very quick to get you off the stage and to the hospital.
Aizawa who’s mesmerised when the baby enters your lives. The perfectly healthy infant, making their first moments on earth very loud. (That’s when he realises he’s not getting sleep anytime soon.) He can’t help but stare at you with the small bundle resting right on your chest. He definitely cries, desperately wiping at the tears trying to be non chalant, but it shines through. The second everyone leaves the room, he’s taking the baby into his arms and slowly walking around the room, whispering to them while you sleep.
Aizawa who’s the perfect father and husband. He stays with you that first month as much as possible, if it’s rough he’ll talk to Nezu about taking a second month off. He’s very attentive, getting up in the middle of the night with zero complaint, much to your surprise. He’s very adamant about you getting rest. He’ll try and talk you out of everything, practically begging for you to let him do it so that you can get more sleep. He bonds with the child pretty much instantly, and when he does go back to school, his students are begging him to bring them in.
Aizawa who does cave in and bring your child to work with him one afternoon, you’d still been on maternity leave, so he thought you could use the afternoon off. He arrives to class looking pretty normal, hands in his pockets. But there’s one thing off, and the students clock it pretty quickly; There’s a strange shaped lump in his capture weapon. As they start to crowd around him, he’ll slowly unwrap them for the class to see. And it’s an adorable sight. The infant, swaddled up to their dads chest in the cloth. They love the baby, and will constantly ask for pictures and he’ll act like he’s annoyed but will already be reaching for his phone and showing them the latest picture he’d taken.
