Feminism is having a wardrobe malfunction.
Does your brand of feminism remove barriers for women, or simply move them around? Does is expand options for women, or does it just shift them? You don’t liberate women by forcing them to choose option B instead of option A. What is comfortable for you might not be comfortable for someone else, and it’s entirely possible that what you see as oppressive, other women find comfortable or even downright liberating.
Before you think the girl in the middle is a strawman, let me tell you I used to be her, back in my misguided youth. I considered myself the standard to which other people should adhere. But that was stupid. It’s not up to me to tell people how to dress, and it’s much nicer to let everyone choose for themselves.
Some women would feel naked without a veil. Some women would find it restrictive. Some women would feel restricted by a bra. Some women would feel naked without one. Some women would feel restricted by a tight corset. Others love them. Some wear lots of clothes with a corset. Some only wear the corset and nothing else. What makes any article of clothing oppressive is someone forcing you to wear it. And it’s just as oppressive to force someone not to wear something that they want to wear.

We're back in town. NYC nightlife rocks (although this Cielo club is kinda bleh)
Frozen May. Shy, delicate and unattainable; but also a seductive wizard of words. That's her portrait through my eyes. Couldn't have made it without the wonderful styling of Ofek.muse.art, and the professional studio and guidance of Noam Dinar

Alizarin: helping big corporates talk to young audience since 1873!
A showcase of one of my jobs in McCann. The Client was Clal, Israel's biggest insurance company. We created an online game that gave the young audience an idea about what's lurking in the real world, From accidents to mortgage rates. Watch the video for more info.
My part in this big beautiful project, was concept planning (together with Daniel Barak) and art directing.

Facebook activity for Shorashim group, a non profit organization that helps the elderly. A campaign by McCann Digital, Israel, with my concept and Art-Direction.
The purpose of the campaign was to get more activity on the Organization's Facebook page.
The solution: remind the facebook users the people who need their help: the lonely, impoverished elderly.
During the campaign week, a few dozens of Israel's leading facebook users changed their profile photo to a photo of themselves - 50 years from now. The cover photo of the chosen facebook users proclaimed: the people who really need your "like", are not even on facebook. Don't forget about them.
The result: more "likes" on Shorashim's pages, and more engaged volunteers who are willing to help.
My name is Alizarin, 25 year old digital art director from Israel. This is how I convinced a millionaire to invest in my education - with the power of social media.
Campaigning for education When I’ve been admitted to NYU’s next academic year of the interactive telecommunications program, I knew I can’t afford the tuition. However, I don’t believe the lack of money should hold me back from pursuing my dream. I BELONG to the interactive telecommunications field - so I launched a campaign, using my social media skills. One-man Audience: Michael I Roth I designed an infographic poster which is targeted to one man: Mr. Michael I Roth. I googled him, and found him to be the most suitable investor for a cause such as my education. Mr. Roth is not only a millionaire: he’s the CEO of IPG, the company that owns McCann Worldgroup - where I’ve been working since 2010. I did the only thing that seemed crazy enough to succeed: I asked him to help fund my studies. In return, I’m offering myself as a better employee he can place anywhere in the world upon graduation. Then, I posted the poster on Facebook, and asked everyone to share it, until it reaches Mr. Roth. The result: The campaign, which cost nothing to produce, spread across the internet. In less than 24 hours, Thousands of people clicked “like” and hundreds found it inspiring enough to share, comment, and write Michael heartfelt testimonials convincing him to invest in me.it was covered by Israel’s biggest news websites and tv news bulletins, and leaked also to the European news websites.
Finally, the campaign has reached Mr Roth, who said he’s willing to help me pursue my dream by finding me the most suitable job within IPG. So I moved to NY, got to NYU, and been in close touch with the IPG headquarters, who are introducing me to their NY agencies. Currently, I’m being interviewed by the different IPG agencies, such as McCann NY, DraftFCB, R/GA and more - and trying to find the perfect position to use my skills.
