You were currently sitting on the bleachers surrounding the football field of Jujutsu High. You had no idea why there was a whole fucking football field in the yard, when the biggest number of students this school has ever seen was 13, back in 1987.
Now, the field was used as the sparring ring for the students.
You watched on peacefully, when you felt a presence that made the hairs on your back stand up.
"Why hello there~"
You didn't answer because you couldn't be bothered to do so.
"What a beautiful day we have, nooooo?~" By now, the white haired fucker has plopped himself down by your side, way too close for comfort and obnoxiously manspreading, while leaning all up in your face.
"Does the concept of personal space not exist to you or do you just to choose to ignore it on purpose?" You asked while not even bothering to look at him.
"Well, aren't you just a ray of sunshine!" He cooed mockingly, now basically pressing his nose up against your cheek with how close he was.
You didn't spare a look at him as you put your palm on his face and pushed him away.
"Oww, come onnnnnn~" He whined while you walked away.
"Look after your students while they're training, would you?!" Was all you said before walking away.
You and Gojo had always had... a rather interesting dynamic, to say the least. He was a naturally cocky, insufferable and egotistical dick in your eyes, while in his, you were just the perfect target to ragebait.
"Oh, this view is just sooooooo romantic, isn't it?"
Utahime has organized a little get-together for the staff of the school, which is how you both ended up on the same, fairy lights-lit rooftop. You were sitting by the snack table as you watched the sunset when Satoru decided he's bored and therefore will disrupt your state of zen.
"What are you doing." You commented dryly on the way he was pretending to stretch his arms, only to hook one around your shoulders sneakily. (That's a lie. He was not being sneaky at all.)
"Meeee? Nothiiiiinnng." He dragged out each letter, in a high, squeaky voice.
"I will stuff every single Cheez-Itz down your throat."
"Awww, babe- you wanna handfeed me sooo baddd."
"The next thing I'll feed to you will by my high heels."
"Oooohh, kinkyyy-"
TWHACK, right in the back of his head.
"Ow, what was that for?" He asked, pouting pathetically, but clearly not actually hurt. Just putting on a show, all for your attention. Because if there was one thing you have learned about Satoru Gojo was that he will go to any lengths to have the spotlight on him.
"You know exactly why." You said with a roll of your eyes before you turned away, arms crossed.
Once again, you didn't get even a second of piece before he was right up against you - literally.
That brat draped himself over your shoulder like he was some towel, placing all of his weight on you.
"Tsk, whatcha looking away for? Can't handle my beauty?" He purred, his voice low and taunting, while his breath hit against your ear from how close he was.
That, combined with the tone of his voice, sent shivers down your spine and made you image a scenario where he used that same exact tone somewhere else, preferably in your— no. Oh, no no no no no no no.
"Get off, asshole!" You squeaked as you desperately pushed at him until he lifted his mass off of your back.
"Fine, fine, I'm off, see?" He said, acting all innocent and raising his hands in the air. Then, in the blink of an eye, his fingers were wrapped around your chin and his face was so close to yours that his nosed brushed the tip of yours, even if just barely.
"Though, I have to say, you certainly didn't mind me on top of you, judging by that blush~" He breathed, voice full of amusement as his thumb brushed against your cheek.
Shit. You didn't even think about the heat appearing visually on you.
You stammered, mouth opening and closing, try to say something, anything. But right now, from his proximity, his scent and his hold on you, your mind was as if it had been magically turned to mush.
The next thing you heard was that irritatingly charming chuckle of his, accompanied by him standing up, and a condescendingly pat on the top of your head.
"You know what, I'll have mercy on you," He said announced with a straight back, like he was confessing something oh-so generous. "For now." He added before turning on his heels, not even waiting for a reaction - what he got so far was already enough to stroke his ego.
You could only gasp in offense and look around yourself hurriedly, as if searching for a solution.
Your eyes landed on an empty bowl, and you instantly reached out to grip it and throw it after him, aiming at his head, specifically.
The throw in itself was God awful, though it still would've hit his leg. But of course, it didn't, because he stepped to the side just enough to get out of the flying object's way.
Oh, of course. Stupid Six Eyes!
As if your blood wasn't boiling enough, you heard two voices conversing behind you - two voices that you normally would pray to hear after talking with that freak, but could only curse right now. They weren't even trying to be subtle, standing only seven feet away from you at most .
"I'm saying three months before they crack." Said Shoko with the upmost casualty, her voice detached as ever.
"You think he'll wait that long?" Answered back the usually clinical, but now much rather cynical echo of Kento.
"Hm, good point."
After that, you whipped around in your seat, your face now an even darker shade of red, steaming from embarrassment. "I can hear you two very clearly, you know!?"
"Oh, yeah." Shoko confirmed with a shrug of her shoulders before taking a drag from her cigarette. "We know."
Meanwhile, somewhere around the other side of the party, Satoru Gojo was watching you from afar.
If anyone saw him right now, they'd laugh at the undeniably obvious tinge of fondness in his eyes.
Meanwhile in his head, the sight of your flushed and flustered face has began taking roots, some very deep ones that he was sure he wouldn't be able to cut out anytime soon, if ever.
All he could think about was how much he wanted to recreate it — how bad he craved to see you look at him like that again, how he needed to see you feel like that again, caused strictly only by him.
Not that he was gonna reveal it anytime soon, of course. He knew he wasn't exactly secretive, nor was he hard to see through, but he couldn't care less.
Right now, his top priority was to keep this chase going, to make you see how he feels, to see how you feel, to keep playing this game of back-and-forth between the two of you.
And maybe, eventually, when he feels ready and tired of playing around, he would finally make you his own, and surrender to your love.

The annual celebration of The Four Nations was being held tonight — it was a festival Zuko had arranged sometime after he got on the throne, to preach unity and peace, something people valued in him, especially after his father...
The event was in full swing, the goers were enjoying it, everyone was laughing and dancing, happy to live in such prosperity.
Zuko himself was in his royal tent.
It was a little off to the side of the fair, guarded by security in case of anything, and consisted of lavish, crimson red fabric with intricate golden patterns woven into it.
No one considered walking up to him, let alone try to get inside the tent, of course.
No one, except...
"Eyyyyy, it looks niiiiicceeee in here!" Came the voice Zuko didn't even have to look up to recognize. "So cozy, man!" Your speech was slurred, the intonation was off and it was clearly that you were, well, not exactly sober.
"How did you get in?" The Fire Lord asked, the question valid, as while the mouth of the tent was wide open, but he was sitting facing it, and still didn't notice you come inside.
"Took the fun route." You said as you stumbled into view, pointing back over your shoulder.
Zuko took in the unusually dirty state of your clothes and looked at the back to where you were pointing, noticing the crumbled up state of the bottom of the tent canvas and the traces of mud coming from under it.
Did you— Yeah, you totally crawled in..
"So, whatcha doin', all cooped up in here!?" You asked as you dragged a stool over to the side of his much more luxurious armchair, leaning on the arm of it, - that he himself did already have his arm resting on - your movements sluggish and clumsy.
Though, it seemed Zuko wasn't here to entertain your antics. "How much have you had?" He asked, straight to the point.
"Bold of you to assume I keep count." You shot back with a toothy smirk, followed by a hiccup, the force of which almost made you fall off your stool.
The young emperor sighed. If you weren't insufferable before, Drunk You definitely did the magic. He closed his eyes and rested his forehead against his hand as he spoke up again.
"Look, I'm really—"
"Busy? Nah, you've been sitting here, doin' nothing." You interrupted quickly, slouching forward to put your chin on his bicep, putting your face at a proximity with his that made the hairs stand up on the back of his neck. "Come onnnnnn— don't tell me you'd dismiss your favorite little outlawww."
Zuko just stared at you for a moment, the closeness of your face, the whiny quality of your voice, that cheeky pout on your lips all too much together.
He snapped out of it relatively quickly, though, looking away with a grumble, as his free hand pushed you away by your face.
"You're even worse when you're intoxicated." He murmured gruffly, telling himself that his voice was like this because he was annoyed and totally not because this criminal here had grown on his heart too much.
"Awwww, come onnnnn. How can say thaaat?" You drawled out as you let yourself be pushed away, dramatically throwing your head back as he did. "Who would keep you so entertained if not lil' ole me???"
The firebender scoffed, shaking his head. Much to his dismay, the sound came out a lot more fond than he wanted it to, but he pretended not to notice so you wouldn't, either.
"I'll let you know, I have multiple professional jesters in my court." He said, looking at you with eyes a little too soft.
"Maybe, but–" You insisted, raising a wobbly but determined finger, as if that would make you sound any less ridiculous. "-none of them are as hot as me." You finished with a self-satisfied grin, looking genuinely proud with yourself.
Zuko could only look and blink at you, absolutely speechless. On the outside, he kept a relatively exasperated facade on, even though he was sure his ears were nearly sizzling from how hot they were.
"You're crazy." Was all he said, his voice lower than usual.
"Pffft– No I'm not!"
A beat of silence.
"Okay, maybe I am, but you still looooovee me." You slurred again, laying the side of your head back on his arm.
Zuko stiffened once again, and for a minute, cursed and blessed you in his head for having such poor clarity of personal space.
However, he didn't reply this time.
Didn't say anything - didn't confirm nor deny your accusation.
He knew that normally, you'd already be teasing him to hell and back for this choice, but right now, you were so peaceful, laying on his arm like that.
And yes, he could feel the muscles in it starting to tingle, and he could already tell he will barely be able to move it once you lift your head.
But right now, looking down at you, how you finally managed to fall quiet for once and just sat there, zoning out, your fingers tracing the cravings of his armchair, his heart lurched in his chest at the thought of pushing you away.
So, he didn't.
He gave the guards a warning look when he saw the side-eyes coming from their directions, but didn't move you, still.
He had a suspicion you had passed out — you, not talking his ears off was a one in a trillion chance. Or maybe this was just how alcohol affected you.
Either way, Zuko felt himself relax, now sitting way less rigidly and sternly with you on his arm.

Zuko was having yet another day of monotonous decision-making. As the Fire Lord - in a peaceful setting -, running errands, listening to his overtly boring chamberlain and sitting on the throne were his biggest priorities.
His days were long and boring with nothing around that could bring a smile to his face, that was now in a constant structure of meh.
He was sitting on his spacious balcony, sipping tea, when he heard multiple of his guards shout, followed by rapid footsteps and heroic grunts.
However, Zuko did not get even nearly bothered.
Instead, he stood up from his velvety armchair calmly, not a twitch of facial expression to be found on him. Setting his tea aside, he left his spot.
Once down in the open and mesmerizing middle of his royal gardens, two guards, who were holding a human form betwen them, approached him. However, the young lord still showed an emotionless and composed demeanor.
"Fire Lord Zuko! We have captured an intruder— she was trying to climb up the walls of the royal palace!" Reported one of the guards - a young boy, on his very first day of the job, part of the new security brigade, as the usual one was on a well needed vacation.
Zuko's eyes traveled up and down you, the "intruder", before making eye contact. That mischievous glint you had in yours was all too familiar already.
You were held like a threat to the whole neither, and honestly, you did have all the qualities and stereotypical visual cues to be classified as one, therefore it was no surprise the guards were handling you the way they were.
He sighed, closing his eyes for a very brief moment before speaking up.
"Release her."
The command caught the two newbies off guard. Though, knowing they were in no position to question anything their Fire Lord told them, they immediately followed the instruction.
And then, as soon as you were let go-
"WHOO- well, that was fun, think we should do it sometime soon again, yeah?" You said as you stood up straight, rolling your shoulders and shaking out your limbs.
Without saying anything else, you began walking past Zuko, but didn't get to make more than a three step distance.
Not even bothering to look at you, he lifted one hand, placed it on top of your head and turned you around with it, so you'd face him. Then, he pushed your head back enough so you would look up at him, as he finally let his eyes drop to yours, as well.
"Where do you think you're going?" He inquired, his tone of voice flat, and his face still, like a statue's.
"Uhhhh, I dunno, to your kitchen?" You replied instantly and sassily, as if it were as obvious as the sky being blue.
Zuko couldn't help but let out a small sigh of exasperation, dropping his hand to the side before asking further.
"You have a pass to the palace. A pass signed by me. Why must you always cause a commotion instead of walking in, like a normal person?" His tone was dripping in aggravation, but there was a layer of softness all over it, one that kept the negativities contained.
"I'm doin' you a favour, really," You insisted defiantly "I knew you were having a new security team, just thought I'd test them. Y'know, make sure they're guarding you right, all that jazz."
Bullshit.
Everything word leaving your mouth was pure, unfiltered and unashamed bullshit. And yet, Zuko found himself... not enraged, for some reason.
"Right. Of course." Zuko mumbled with a sigh before turning towards the palace as well, a silent permission for you to go inside.
"There ya go, buddy," You said as you spun around and began walking along side him in confident, prideful strides. "I already know your cook cannot waiiiittt to see me again. That guy loves me."
"I doubt he does." Zuko Interjected softly, his eyes sternly on his path, but his demeanor much more relaxed than before now, that it was just the two of you, falling into a familiar pattern of conversation you often had.
You scoffed. "Pfft, yeah, he does." You insisted almost incredulously.
"Last time you were here, you made him cry because he forgot to make your favorite dessert." The Fire Lord reminded, now looking at you with eyes unusually soft, and a fond smile he hoped went unnoticed by his servants and guards. "And you don't even know his name."
"Nahh, you don't understand— bullying is a love language, okay? And why need names when I can just call him idiot? He responds to that too, by now." You remarked, looking up at him with that so-uniquely-you, cocky, stupid little smirk, before adding: "Love has weird ways, dude, you shouldn't question it."
You only said that as a joke.
As an excuse, as a way to defend yourself, as a quote that wasn't meant to be deep, just looked upon as a sarcastic statement from a person who isn't known to be sappy or emotional in the first place.
Zuko knew that.
But regardless, it made something warm up in his chest and blossom it's way through his whole torso, like an internal embrace that lifted every royal worry and stress off of his chest for a moment, letting him breath freely.
"Yeah." He responded with a bit of a delay, his voice barely above a whisper. "It really does." There was something so affectionate in his eyes that you had to avoid it on purpose, not ready for that level of sentimentality yet.
And Zuko knew another thing.
You knew this one, too.
You both knew that dancing around each other will eventually create more difficulties than pleasantries.
But right now, this was enough. And the confrontation of your feelings can bear to wait another day.
Another week.
Another month.
Or maybe even another year...

i saw someone recommend it on tiktok, and started watching it like, yes, i, in fact, DO want to see the gayest "just partners" solve crime, while one of them is a sweetheart and the other is kirkenuinely batshit crazy
As we all already know, Choso wasn't very good with human feelings, and things that normally were natural for people. Which was funny, considering that even though he was half curse, he probably had the purest soul you've ever met.
He struggled with certain concepts, but he was getting better day by day, with the help of you. And while he trusted you wholeheartedly, there were some things he'd rather find out himself, because he didn't want to ask you. He also often questioned whether it bothered you or not, how he was always asking about such simple and every day things, but you'd always reassure him that you loved helping him out. You actually found it adorable, the way he was like a curious puppy or child, of some sort. Not that you were infantilizing him, oh no, you knew exactly how sassy, strong or mature he could be.
Recently, Choso has been watching a lot of movies and series alone, and you noticed that they had a good affect on him and helped him understand the basics of being a human. However, there has been one thing that especially seemed to intrigue him — relationships.
He'd already get used to friendships, and knew that they were a type of relationship, but there were much more than just that. The one in particular that he really took a liking to was dating. He just loved the idea. The idea of being so close with someone that they didn't share a bond like that with anyone, the thought of being so special to someone, and making them feel special in exchange just warmed his heart so much. So, he digged deeper.
He'd come to find out a lot of things. First, how not just anyone could be your partner — you have to have a crush on them, and they have to have one on you too. This made Choso deflate a little bit. What were the chances that he'd ever develop this kind of love towards someone, and they'd feel it towards him, too? It just seemed so impossible, but with how many couples there seemed to be everywhere, it seemed maybe a little more possible. But the again, what was a crush?
So, he searched more.
He didn't find a perfect, straightforward definition for, which irritated him a bit, but at the same time, he understood why.
It seemed like such a complicated and profound feeling that just couldn't be defined, and he felt like that was a part of its charm.
However, no matter how much he liked that thought, he still hadn't gotten an answer to his question. So, he went to the person he trusted the most and wasn't you - Yuji.
"What's a crush?"
"Oh, hey, Cho— huh?" The younger boy looked up from where he was playing on his PlayStation, caught off guard by the question.
"What's a crush?" He repeated, voice unwavering and face straight as he invited himself to sit down on Yuji's bed.
"Damn, okay, uhhh.." Muttered to himself the pinkette as he put down his controller, to pay full attention to his older brother. "Well... a crush is someone that you have a certain kind of feelings for."
"What kind?" He pried more, while he shamelessly reaches for the back of Doritos next to Yuji, pulls it in his lap and starts eating it, not breaking eye contact.
"I, umm.. It's hard to describe. It's feelings of... happiness? Kind of? You have a crush on someone you reeeaaallly like, enjoy spending time with and just really appreciate — as more than a friend, but not in the family-way, y'know?"
This made Choso think, and his mind instantly went to you. He really liked you, enjoyed spending time with you and appreciated you — not in the way he did with Yuki or Yuji. So, would that make you his crush? The thought made heat crawl up his necks. Yeah, he'd like that, to have you as his crush.
From that day on, Choso made it his mission to let you know you were his crush, and find out if he was yours too. Of course, that was easier said than done. He still didn't know how to do it.
He felt nervous, because what if you didn't reciprocate his feelings? It wasn't guaranteed that you would, after all.
After much thinking and evaluating, some sleepless nights and many distracted moments, he finally came up with the best way to ask you.
"Do you want to be my girlfriend?"
The question hit you completely out of the blue, on a random afternoon while you were were putting his hair in two braids, something you were very delighted you'd manage to convince him to let you.
"I'm sorry." He said immediately after, when you didn't give him an instant reply.
"Oh, no, nononononono, I just- I was just caught off guard that's all." You tried reassuring him as you put down the haircomb and hairties, and moved around the bed so you'd be in front of him now. "Do you- what do you- what do you mean by girlfriend?"
"Ah, well, you know..." He mumbled, averting his gaze. "Like in the movies. We watched Spiderman last week, like Peter and MJ in it..."
Oh.
Oh, he meant it.
You were even more shocked now. You had no idea he felt that way — sure, you hoped he would, but you never actually thought it was possible. And with all the time he spent with Yuki, and based on their interactions, you totally thought he'd be into her (not that you'd blame him for it).
"Oh, Cho... I'd love to be your girlfriend."
As soon as you said that he lit up like a tree. A really red one.
"R-Really? Like, actually?"
"Of course!"
You felt like some teenager again, with how corny this whole confession turned out. But it's okay, cause it's Choso.
And with that, he threw his strong arms around you, bringing you onto his lap in a tight hug.
Then he moved his head, but this time to give you a kiss on the cheek. Or, well- to press his lips against your cheek in an awkward something that you depicted was trying to imitate a kiss.
You thought it was the cutest thing ever, so, in return, you grabbed both sides of his head so he'd face you and gave him an actual kiss right on the tip of his nose, which — you guessed it — made him burn red and melt into you as he hid his face in your shoulder.
Toji never would've thought he'd still be dating anyone at his big age, yet, here you were. Not only dating him, but, like, a lot younger than him, too.
And when someone thinks of an older dude with a younger girl, they usually all think the same things: "She must have daddy issues!" "He definitely has a corruption kink!" "They probably do ageplay!" "I bet he gets off thinking about how youthful she is, what a perv!" But this was not the case for you two at all.
When you and Toji began dating, he was... confused. Why on Earth would you settle for a burnt out, rugged dickhead like him? And yet, you didn't seem to care.
At first, even he thought you must have daddy issues or something. That you're gonna tell him you wanna try ageplay, or that you secretly have some degradation kink. But nope.
"You got this, gramps." You said as you watched Toji get out of bed, grumbling and groaning, while you were already in the doorway, fully dressed.
"Shut it, dipshit." He mumbled back, voice hoarse and raspy as he has just woken up.
He soon started getting ready and dressed up. In the meantime, you laid on your stomach, on top of your shared back as you watched him shamelessly.
"I'm gonna bite you."
"Huh?"
"I'm gonna bite you." You repeated again, with total indifference.
But who's to blame you, when that man just looked so beefy and buff, like he was carved out of marble and just so scrumptious looking.
By now, even Toji was used to how weird you could be sometimes. He'd mutter something like "kids these days" to piss you off, too.
Later, you both arrived to your shared destination — the gym.
In there, you both began warming up, before starting your own routines.
"Damn, ma, you're packin'." He remarked during your break. He was sitting on a bench, sweat running down his body, towel hanging around his neck as he chugged his water, while you kept flexing in the mirror to yourself.
"Hell yeah I aaaaammmm." You squealed, hyping yourself up, which forced a fond smile on the older man's face.
You had what you liked to call a "sleeper built". Usually, you didn't look very strong — of course, you did look quite a bit thicker, but no muscles bulging. However, when you flexed, worked out, or actually used those muscles? Oh, that could've gotten any lady swooning. You mostly paid attention to your arms, upper back, legs (specifically your thighs) and glutes. You also did some ab and waist training, but not very excessively; "Gotta keep the waist snatched" you'd say.
And while some guys — with big egos and small penises to back it up — would find it "unflattering" and "not very ladylike", Toji very bluntly admitted in the beginning of your relationship that he loves it.
He always tells you how good you look. Always. His hands on you constantly, groping squeezing. You do the same thing to him and his muscles, why couldn't he return the favor? Not to mention, he knows he has a lot of strength, and he loves how you can always keep up with him. Whether it is by training with him, or by not always going for a round two, three, four, five, or more during the nights (or days, he wasn't picky when it came to that).
Partially why he didn't think he should get with a younger woman was because he thought that would mean having something delicate around. Something he needs to be careful around, something he needs to make sure he doesn't break.
But with you? With you, it was almost the other way.
"Get off, shithead."
You were currently hanging off of his back. Literally.
"I'm not some fucking jungle gym." He pretended to be annoyed, but he secretly found you very amusing.
"Quite grumbling, you're like some bear, I swear to God-"
Your legs were wrapped around his waist tightly, one arm around his neck, and the other covering the top and side of his head.
"You're ridiculous- are you begging to get put in a chokehold?"
Now that made you pause.
"Oh? Well, I'm not gonna beg for it, but now that you mention it..."
Toji also liked how independent you were. He didn't have to worry about you — emphasis on have to, he still did sometimes — and look out for you all the time. If you couldn't reach something in the kitchen? You can climb. The lid on a jar won't budge? Well, you have those muscles for a reason. Some guy's giving you unwanted attention? You know where to kick- though, Toji likes taking care of the last situation when it happens.
Overall, you were dearly loved and appreciated by him, even if it's not obvious right away, and even when he grumbles about you being "way too freaked out". (He was worse. A lot more worse. He was just nonchalant about it)
