I feel like this has never been said (not to say that it hasn't, but still), so I'm going to.
No-one talks about dicks when it comes to body positive stuff. I'd say that almost every single dick you see online has been prepared in some way. They're fluffed up in pants to look bigger. They're erect. They're trimmed and prepared. They're maybe on show because the owner has a particularly big one, and not indicative of the average one.
And there's a lot of anxiety over penis size. People aren't sharing photos of them when they've been all bunched up in your trousers. People aren't whipping them out when they've been crushed between your thighs for the last 3 hours. When it's cold, when they're resolutely not aroused.
You're looking at yours from the top down, which is the worst angle. You may catch yours in the mirror and it doesn't seem all that, because you've only ever seen a prepared penis online.
It's bullshit. It's all a rotten trick played on you by fantasy. You probably ignore all the times it gave you or someone else pleasure, because all you can remember is the all too regular small dick 'jokes' made by crap people in bars, on TV, or on social media.
