- washing dishes in the kitchen, finn washes because the scars on robin’s hands and the dish soap dry his skin out, and robin wipes them and puts them away while flicking through the radio channels. finn will flick water at him every time he gets distracted, and it wages a war that ends with water on the floor and their socks wet
- finney trademark obsessed with robin’s hair and using any excuse to touch it because he’s the only one, apart from his mother, who’s allowed. wow it’s so windy today let me just make sure it’s not in your face.
- robin who becomes a human weighted blanket, coming over/home tired and just flopping on top of him like one of those big dogs that think they’re still a puppy and acting offended when finney wheezes
- finn who is using telenovas to learn spanish and getting way too into the storyline, and robin who just spends the entire time staring at him
- drive-in movie theaters being their first date and subsequent anniversary dates, when they start going out of business, they start roadtripping because in this household we believe in tradition
- going out with friends/siblings and immediately acting like their asses don’t see each other or live together and getting distracted by talking/flirting quietly then getting startled when they remember everyone else’s existence
- idfc neither of them are party people or extroverts, their vibes are very comfortable and low key, they will not be going to a keg party and if they go to a concert they will be sticking to the back of the crowd where they aren’t getting mashed
- fics where they are not the main stars but background support, i.e. camera people, prop designers, script writers, sound techs, etc. and they’re rolling their eyes at each other from across the room and smirking at unspoken inside jokes
anyway this is my petition for more rinney fluff as someone who is absolutely contributing to the angst tag. also childhood friends or nothing. also more established relationships.
