The unseen battles fought silently can be the roughest. Cover your friends in prayer.
"And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lordâs people."
â Ephesians 6: 18 (NIV)

May I choose prayer over panic, hope over hopelessness, & perseverance over giving up. Growth over comfort, &trust over control. faith over frustration, patience over panic, and trust over doubt. grace over anger, & humility over pride. Remaining still knowing God will handle it.
Todays Prayer âïž
Father, draw us close so we may fully belong to You and walk in Your light. Strengthen our faith that we may live under Your perfect rule and justice. Guard us on every path we take through this broken world. Though darkness presses in we hold firm in our hearts the joyful certainty that we are Yours. You have kept us safe and carried us through every trial. We declare it again with all our hearts we are Yours Lord our God through Jesus Christ our Savior. Amen.
the story is not over
âBehold, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs forth; do you not perceive and know it and will you not give heed to it? I will even make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.â Isaiah⏠â43âŹ:â19⏠âAMPCâŹâŹ
We all go through seasons where life tries to convince you that youâve already seen your greatest days. Disappointment whispers that you missed your opportunity. Delay suggests that Heaven has forgotten your name. Pain argues that this chapter is the final one. But the Word of God declares something entirely different. The story isnât over.
The enemy wants you to build a permanent home around a temporary season. God wants you to lift your eyes beyond what is and see what Heâs already prepared. Your present circumstances may be real, but they arenât final. The God who brought you this far didnât exhaust His power getting you here. He still has promises to fulfill, doors to open, victories to win, and purpose to reveal.
The Lord spoke through the prophet Jeremiah, saying, âFor I know the plans I have for you⊠plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a futureâ as recorded in Jeremiah 29:11. Those words were spoken to people living in exile, not comfort. Their future looked uncertain, yet God was already declaring that hope was waiting on the other side of hardship.
David declared in Psalm 27:13, âI remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.â Notice that he didnât say he might see it, he declared it with confidence. Faith doesnât deny todayâs struggle, it refuses to let todayâs struggle define tomorrowâs promise.
Donât mistake Godâs silence for His absence. Seeds spend time hidden before they break through the ground. Arrows are pulled backward before they are launched forward. Sometimes what feels like delay is simply God developing the strength, character, and faith required for where He is taking you. Take courage. God hasnât run out of ideas concerning your life. His mercies are still new every morning. His grace is still sufficient. His promises are still yes and amen through Christ Jesus. What He started, He is faithful to finish.
Donât settle in yesterdayâs victories or yesterdayâs disappointments. Thereâs still more oil to pour, giants to defeat, miracles to witness and prayers that God intends to answer. The same God who opened doors before is able to open doors again. Walk forward with expectation. Pray with boldness. Worship with confidence. Serve with joy. Trust with unwavering faith. The best isnât behind you because the God who goes before you has more in store for you.
Let God work in the areas youâve been avoiding. Healing starts when you stop running.
Proverbs 4:23
23 Above all else, guard your heart,
for everything you do flows from it.
