"Baby's first fandom" shouldn't be the primary excuse, sure, the kid is going to be cringe, overly excited and whatnot, and I get it, we all get it. But we shouldn't just let it play out but try to explain to them what should and what shouldn't in fandom spaces before it never changes.

Yknow, I'm glad I got bullied a little, not saying you SHOULD bully, but that you should be more critical. Because otherwise I think I'd grown to be so infuriating.

No criticism at all also breeds them not being used to any later in internet spaces and react quite sensitive, probably. We've all seen it. They're in their bubble of everyone being scared to say anything that when someone finally does, it's more offensive than it was supposed to be.
