Critics and industry insiders have accused her of acting like the world revolves around her, misinterpreting her self-preservation as a lack of work ethic.

In reality, Y/N’s decisions stem from a quiet determination to stand up for herself, especially after recently opening up about her severe anxiety and how easily she gets overwhelmed. You were just listening to music, just vibing and chilling with your friends. That’s when you heard it. A cry for help. You looked around to see if anybody else had heard it too. But it seems like only you did. You tried to ignore it, but the cry for help got stronger, and you couldn’t help but follow the sound.

So now here you were, in an abandoned building because you couldn’t resist the pleading for help. The building was dark, old, and rusted. You were looking around when you suddenly heard a noise. You looked up and a small vent was shaking. The vent shook so much the lid flew off, and a little creature came out. It’s fur white like an arctic fox, its ears floppy and the ends pink. No, this couldn’t have been a fox. You noticed blood on its fur, some of its skin was showing. It was hurt. You hesitantly pick up the creature. “Help me” the creature spoke in your mind again. “Are you the one who called?” You asked, confused. But your confusion was shortly lived before you heard footsteps. You turned your head to see her.

It was Sirena. You had seen her in a few classes you were in. She was the new transfer student at school. She rarely talked and was cold most of the time. “Were you the one who did this?” You asked, your voice shaking slightly. “Put him down, he’s dangerous” she said, her voice cold. “Dangerous? How? He’s hurt and barely alive.” You looked at the creature in your arms, then back at her. She took a step closer, and you instantly back up. She froze, just for a second, and that was all that was needed before she was sprayed with a fire extinguisher. Where sirena was standing fogged up, you looked up to see Ella, Chessa, and Sara. “You ok?” Ella asked, her voice laced with concern and confusion. “What’s that you got in your arms? And is it alive?” Chessa chimed in. Her eyes locked onto the white furry creature in your arms. “He called out to me, for help” “for help? Animals can’t talk” Sara said, “but he does!” She raised her eyebrow but sighed. “We should get out of here” Ella said, you all agreed and got up.

Sirena watched from the shadows. She had easily dodged the spray from the fire extinguisher. Her eyes narrowed when they landed on you. She sighed, it seems like she’ll have to take the creature away from you the hard way.
