Ed Stede fic readers I wanna shoot my shot asking for a specific type of fic rec if anyone wants to help 🤞life has been rough so I would love to escape in a good fic bit I'm so picky and there is no way to really filter for what I want ( that i know of) so I haven't had a chance to read at all and I miss it
● Basically I would like a slow burn, slowest possible infact because the longer the fic is the better.
● I want to learn something, like real history, literature, recipes?, I read a fic by a ornithologist in another fandom that had a bunch of bird facts that was cool im open to almost any subject I just crave expanding my knowledge during a fic.
●Angst is cool
●I love wump
●Other characters in the story are cool but not too much, I really care most about the main pair.
●Action, I want a story where stuff happens. I like horror, thrillers or crime dramas. I've read fics in other fandoms with crazy twists so something like that would rock.
●I'm ace so its fine if stuff is in there but I don't really want a fic where thats the main thing.
●Weird caviat, it would be my preference if stuff from the actors wasn't put in like their clothes or real lives in anyway. I want it to be true to character preferably pirates but au(s) are cool as long as the vibes are similar to the characters from the show.
● would adore a fic where Ed meets Mary and Mary reacts to stede pulling blackbeard
● i would really love a follow up fic to "you only frame twice"
I would also prefer ed to be. insanely intimidating and successful like in the show.
So yeah doesn't have to hit all of these but some would be great. Obviously if you like stuff I said I don't like you are very valid for that and I have no judgments I am just very picky and once my immersion breaks I can't get it back, but please if you write or read anything different you are probably the correct one my taste is just picky and the more depressed I get the pickier I get for some reason.
