“Not much, honey. Today I'm takin' a day off of work. It's been a rough week. Just dealing with the same stuff as usual... Yknow, drunk men, weird asshole Butchie... Nothing too different. Although my feet and arms have been really killin' me... Maybe I strained them. Anyways, how about you handsome? Doin' anything fun with your time?”
“Yikes, you need some self care or somethin’ huh? Eh, Ive had some days off, just trying to relax— I made some croissants actually, if you wanna try..”
“Croissants? Well, Id try one! (cuz it's from you of course...) ”
“Perfect, you allergic to anything, pretty? Like fruits, some of these got strawberry cream on the inside”
“Nope, nothin' at all. Yknow... You've been a real sweetheart thus far. I mean cmon, your frickin' great... Since your givin' me this, why don't I make somethin' for you? Yknow, I haven't been cookin' alot lately, so why don't I make you a plate? Just a good way to get my spirit back. This is all My treat! Or yknow what better yet- why not come for dinner? I got a real nice house, honey”
“Really? If you don’t mind.. I’m sure your cooking is great, bél. Just tell me when to come over, yeah?”
“Nonono, you tell ME when YOUR coming over”
she chuckled, obviously excited about this. She was definitely getting ahead of herself... She would've never thrown herself at any man like this. Not even a month and she was already cooking for him and basically at his hand and foot, even if she didnt mean to.
*he chuckled, raising an eyebrow before shrugging*
“Alright then, I’ll be there in 30 minutes okay? Gotta clean up— I’m like covered in flour”
“Oh sure! Take your time, sweetie. Ill see you soon!"
She left him hanging before letting out a slur of curses. 30 minutes? What could she even do in 30 minutes? She needed to get ready FAST. She wanted to look good for him. She wanted to give him a nice setup. Before long, she took a quick shower and tried to get herself dolled up for him. She was all over the place...
