Thereâs a liquor store near my house that seems to be run exclusively by frat boys. They lovingly curate these bags, which I browsed today while âOops I Did It Againâ played through the store speakers. This is art to me, there is beauty everywhere for those with eyes to see it
i wonder what they're gossiping about
had to draw them
genuinely they have probably saved people.
they HAVE saved people actually iâm 100% sure of that. iâve learned about so many recalls i wouldâve had no idea about otherwise !!!! from the bottom of all of our hearts thank you mamoru
aw shucks, thank YOU! what a pick me up!
when I was younger, I got food poisoning. I was supposed to recover from it, but I wound up with a bunch of nasty medical conditions instead. I never imagined I would become disabled from food.
so I am really glad I have been able to help spread the word every now and then about food safety and recalls, since it hopefully means a few less people going through what I have.
while I have your attention, I do not post every recall, even just for the US, so here are a few of the links I use!
recalls.gov/recent.html <- aggregate of official government recall links for the US! food, drugs, products, child safety seats, motor vehicles, and tires! (half the feeds are broken half the time, but hey, it worksâą! check the FDA enforcement reports for a more complete list of recalls, especially drug recalls!)
recalls for canada <- recalls for canada!
RASFF <- food recalls and safety alerts for the EU!
food safety news <- news about food safety in the US, canada, and around the world!
I was poisoned <- see where people have gotten food poisoning near you, and report your own! (worldwide!)
thanks for reading, stay safe and take care!

the gossip girl writers and music department had a vision and went with it
not the official netflix instagram posting this scene today lmao
congrats for drugs for winning the war on drugs
On the day of Dick Cheneyâs death, Iâm thinking about a lot of horrible consequences of his actions, but Iâm also thinking about Lauren Hough telling Dick Cheney to waterboard her âif it makes him feel betterâ when she repaired his cable.
In the 2000s, phones had quirks and class....
In the ye olde days, when technology allowed phones to become small but there was no general concensus on what a phone should/ought to look like, it was like the wild west of phone design. The crazier it was, the higher the prestige. Phones back then did two things and they did them with flamboyance.
And then Steve Jobs ruined everything.
the best trope in media is: âcharacters turn on the lights, see the monster, and immediately turn the lights back offâ

me: So then we take the liquified wood pulp, and dry it again, into these thin sheets. caveman: [confused, but trying to keep up] uh huh. me: And we take the graphite stick - it doesn't need to be wrapped in wood like this, but we like making them this way so you don't get graphite on your hands. And that's what we draw with. caveman: [eyes lighting up] Oohhh so you use the wood pulp sheets to paint on them, like hides? me: Exactly! And now, you could use this method to draw anything you can visualise with your mind's eye, but for the sake of this demonstration, let's draw a vision of a woman with features of an animal whose powers and traits she represents, and a figure that is stylised and exaggerated beyond what nature really allows. caveman: As wide as she is tall, with tits to match? me: Exactly. caveman: This is the only sensible use of this technology.
Oh nooo I hadnât noticed that my catâs automatic feeder was getting low on food so as usual she dashed off when she heard the machine start but I couldnât hear the usual sound of her food falling into the bowl so I went to look and my poor cat was just. Sitting there. Staring at her empty food bowl. Then for a second she glanced up at me then right back to her bowl with the biggest, saddest, most bewildered eyes you could ever imagine on such a small creature. I filled her bowl and the machine right away ofc but I still feel a little guilty đ
