Just completed Ori and the Will of the Wisps, and I am so truly beyond wrecked.
Such a beautiful game, and had me way more emotional than Ori and the Blind Forest. Highly recommend playing both, but especially this one. There were so many instances that just tore my heart out and absolutely crushed it.
10/10
Anyway I need to process my feelings now
its always so odd when someone follows you without even liking a single post of yours. what did you follow me for mysterious stranger. what post did you like. did you like a post from fuckoff narnia years of my blog where i posted about some bullshit i don't post about anymore or a post i made 5 minutes ago
If I do this it's probably because the account got recommended to me, so I scrolled thru their old posts and decided to follow, but felt awkward about actually liking said old posts.

Body parts are often metaphors. Guts are Courage. Spine is Courage. Balls are Courage. Toes are Little piggies :)
This is a poetic and inspiring way of thinking about life.
If you have a body, you can have courage. Every piece of you is brimming with the bravery you need if you just call upon it.
You also have some pigs too.
I know the "Bubble is the Blue AI" theory is very popular and is definitely the most obvious answer regardless of if its true or if it's a red herring, but I had a realization that another pretty solid piece of evidence to support this exists and I'm surprised I haven't seen anybody mention it yet (or it just hasn't crossed my dashboard- my bad if I'm just finding out something that's common knowledge)
This was actually foreshadowed allllll the way back in episode 2. And it all comes down to the scene where Caine poofs Gummigoo into confetti and gets rid of him- when he does it, his reasoning is that he doesn't want to lose track of who's a human and who's an NPC.
If this is really that big of a concern for him, why would he keep Bubble around? I think it's because Bubble isn't an NPC, they're an AI, just like him. And he physically cannot get rid of them- sure, he can pop them, but they always come back later, no matter what he does.
You could argue that Caine just wanted an assistant, so he made his own personal NPC assistant, that being Bubble. But why would Caine create an NPC that's honestly not that helpful and even constantly antagonizes him? Caine practically needs validation to survive, he is DESPERATE for the humans to compliment him. So why wouldn't his NPC assistant constantly validate him? Why would Bubble even go against his wishes from time to time?
Episode 8 has more evidence for this (beyond the obvious dots scene at the beginning). When Caine is having his breakdown, Bubble keeps taunting him, attacking him, even going for what appears to be his deepest insecurities and fears- the humans not liking his adventures, not being good enough, being abandoned, being the lesser of the two AIs. Why in the world would he make an NPC that attacks him to this level?
Also, why didn't Caine just simply poof Bubble away in this scene? He keeps popping them, but they keep coming back, no matter how much he tells them to stop. His breakdown put him to the point of torturing the humans, so if he could, I'm shocked he didn't snap and delete Bubble out of anger, without really thinking. And again, he physically cannot get rid of Bubble, not entirely. And I bet it's because, since they are the other AI and were extremely valuable to the coders who made them, he simply just doesn't have the admin privileges to fully delete them. It would have been careless to leave an AI with such code-breaking privileges, so he wasn't given them. His coding makes him incapable of deleting Bubble.
All that said, this does beg the question, what exactly DID Caine do to Bubble? Why are they the way that they are? And if Caine doesn't have permissions to delete Bubble, how come he was still able to break them? I'm honestly not sure, this is kind of where the theory falls apart a little, but I feel like the answer might just have something to do with Caine's intelligence. He's an AI, he's literally built to learn and improve. We saw he was able to break out of the confines of whatever the box the coders locked him in was, so maybe his learning made him able to circumvent his given permissions and overstep his boundaries, but only to a degree? He broke Bubble, somehow, but couldn't fully delete them because going that far was still outside the extent by which he could overstep. I think he was maybe able to alter their code, but not a lot, just enough to break them.
I almost wonder if something bad would happen if he forgot Bubble wasn't an NPC. I feel like the "who knows what could happen" comment references something that happened in the past, or just something he's worried about happening. I feel like that scene just HAS to carry more weight to it, there must be some reason he said that.
Anyway. Not sure if anybody will see or read this post, but let me know your thoughts if you do! If you have relevant evidence, whether it's to prove or disprove it, feel free to comment! I don't mind being disproven.
Hello old friend, I sent you out there years ago and you went and spread a lot of good karma, I just need your favour again, help me find some work 🧡
