Hopefully it's something I can fix tomorrow (later today? Given the hour...), but DaVinci crashed and is suddenly refusing to recognize my graphics card. My laptop has reverted settings/locked display settings from me (brightness buttons suddenly don't work anymore, weird). I was this 🤏 close to finishing up an old WIP, too, but with any luck I have simply managed to not update my graphics card and that has now hit as an issue. (Or it's hardware failure and that's a bigger headache.)

OH MY GOD. I DID IT. I ACTUALLY DID IT.

The sky, gong, and most of the mountains are colors from Terrafibres on etsy!! Specifically Vulcan’s Forge, Shran, Tulaberry, and Imzadi. 😁

I took a great many artistic liberties lol but I’m SO happy!! I actually did it!!

Not to pop back on here randomly but current state of the Vidding Plans:

Topaz by The B-52's must be completed before June is up (and I've wasted ~12 days now but I've gotten a neat transition effect completed and settled on an aspect ratio. You know, the technical stuff); Topaz is a gemstone that can come in every color of the rainbow if certain conditions (heat/radiation or mineral impurities) are met at its formation

Rocket Man, Space Oddity for Kirk (I am considering using Rocket Man for McCoy but if I use Kirk I can include a surprise transition iykwim); angsty concepts for both but what's new?

In Too Deep by Genesis for K/S (dare I say the angst I could create with it? "You know I love you, but I just can't take this" love versus duty, Vulcan culture versus Human culture, Kirk's whole deal with idealizing love but refusing it for himself, I'm eating my shirt and sobbing, etc.)

All the other suggestions that I need to peruse and get cracking on at some point (I know Topaz was a suggestion but I know there's more I'm not thinking about thanks to however my brain works)
