I can’t believe some people are asking how is this going to affect Buck... Home Sweet Home

This is my gift for @bonappetart for the @coexchange. I hope you like it! <3

Simon and Baz have found their home with each other. 

They’ve acknowledged their own traumas and each other’s traumas and are working through them, and now they’re moving in with each other along with the cat they adopted.

Baz always knew that Simon was a disaster, but it isn’t until they’re taking their boxes into their flat and trying to put them in the room that they go in that Baz realizes that he probably should have helped Simon more with his packing. 

The boxes are either mislabeled, vaguely labeled (one of them just says “stuff”), or not labeled at all. Baz has no idea where these boxes should be going, and after the fifth one, he gives up and just starts stacking them in the living room to be dealt with later.

Baz gently chastises Simon for the horrible job he did, but truthfully, he finds it a little endearing.

It takes them a couple of hours to carry all of the boxes and furniture up, and by the time they’re done, neither of them feels like unpacking anything, including the new bed they bought, so they decide to order some take-out and sleep on the floor.

Simon orders the food while Baz finds a box of blankets, and while they wait for the food to arrive, Simon gets an idea.

Without telling Baz what exactly that plan is, he starts moving around the boxes in the living room, creating a fort with them before draping blankets over them and piling some blankets and pillows on the floor. Then, he rips open the box labeled “stuff” and pulls out a box of fairly lights, mumbling something about there being a method to his madness.

Baz stands off to the side and watches as Simon manages to get the lights strung on the boxes before emerging from the fort, saying “ta da.”

Baz smiles warmly at him and says, “I love it.”

“I love you,” Simon replies before kissing him softly.

The cat seems to like it, too, since she has already curled up in the middle of the pillows.

Once they’re settled in the fort with their food and Baz’s laptop playing a movie, Simon says, “So maybe my terrible labeling was a good thing, huh? We made something good out of it.” Baz shakes his head at him, but he’s smiling.

It’s a nice way to spend the first night in their new home.

Hc Ronan making Adam laugh / smile

this has been in my drafts for so long im sorry!

ok ronan knows like. the weirdest and dirtiest jokes. and he just randomly tells them. like they would be at st agnes, ronan listening to his obnoxious music while adam studies and then randomly ronan would take his headphones off and be like "hey parrish?" and adam would carry on working which ronan would take as an affirmative and say some shitty joke like "they say make up sex is the best... which is lucky because all sex is made up!" and adam would just roll his eyes and be like "why the fuck am I with you?" and try really hard not to laugh but ronan knows he did (he can't help it he's in love poor guy)

headcanon that ronan whistles/sings whenever he is doing any task. he'll be feeding the animals whistling the murder squash song. he'll do laundry humming some Irish ballad he's been listening to a lot this week. he showers belting out all the songs on reputation and he thinks adam can't hear him but he absolutely can. adam thinks it is the cutest fucking thing in the world. and ronan has a really good voice too which doesn't hurt. it makes him smile every time

bullying adam into a shopping trolley and hurtling both of them across the parking lot is a parrish-lynch tradition every single time they go grocery shopping. adam not-so-secretely loves it. his laughter during those moments is the loudest ronan has ever heard it

ronan gets on an art kick and when adam goes away to college ronan sends monthly care packages (tdt doesnt exist because I say so). it always always has a fresh tub of hand cream, little things ronan dreamt for adam etc., he also starts including things he drew for adam in it (usually like entire sketchbooks full of just drawings of adam) and adam smiles every time he sees them

ronan is also notoriously bad at texting but he makes up for it by taking lots of pictures and sending them to adam. it makes adam smile because it feels like ronan is sending him bits of home.

One of the bassists in the orchestra I went to see last night looked truly exactly like Ronan Lynch, and now all I can think about is concert musician Ronan and desk-job Adam Parrish, who starts going to the orchestra because his therapist told him to try new things, and keeps going because of the incredibly hot guy in the bass section (but tbh actual Ronan might play cello instead).
