Joel nods, wrapping his hands around the edge of the sink to brace himself. Jordan’s hand comes up to the back of his neck and he presses him down towards the faucet, even though Joel is nearly a head taller than him. It probably doesn’t help that he goes so willingly.

He flinches as the cold water hits the top of his head first. Jordan’s grip tightens, ever so slightly, around the back of his neck, because he notices. Of course he does.

“It’s alright. It has to be cold.”
