#youni originals #fantasy story #damaris #her name. is artifact damaris #but they usually hate being called artifact #at least at first #i think later as they accept their uniqueness in this world they start enjoying the name artifact #decided to give her gray sclera to further emphasize the lens eyes. she is a robot and it shows #i usually draw their hair as a braid but I did not feel like drawing a braid #this was drawn in like 2 hours #i should do this more.. draw every single one of my ocs a new portrait. maybe revise their toyhouses like i did some time ago..

Either through observing or just figuring shit out ravens could 100% learn how to cast spells I'm sure of it

Dogs can also cast Magic Missile but every time they do the projectile is shaped like a bone or a stick and they chase after it

#in fantasy story animals and plants do have as much magic as people #as in. they're made of magic. it's as vital and basic to them as blood or air #basic uses of magic like simple environmental manipulation like freezing something is something even animals can do yes #but a creature with higher cognitive capacity can undo or overpower that magic #so using magic to hunt or escape a hunt is energy they are expending and risking it be in vain if the predator or prey can counteract it #people are not the only ones who can learn more complex magic but most animals don't have the energy or reason to learn them
