it happened to me too, folks!

guess it was time! I got scammed.

@mellowsliverprotector (who for some reason can't be tagged) messaged me earlier asking for a commission for their friend's birthday.

we talked a bit about what they wanted, they sent a photo (which now looks AI generated to me actually, I didn't pay it much mind before). The language they were using was a bit weird and their blog is empty so I guess I should have followed my gut instinct and said no to them from the start.

Anyways, they asked me for my legal name before making PP transfer (which I thought was weird because PP works w email and there is no need but I gave it anyways). Now I know why - so they could generate a doctored PP receipt and claim to have transferred the money when they haven't.

Attaching below some parts of our conversations as well as a screenshot of my latest PP transactions.

Please beware & avoid @mellowsliverprotector if you don't wanna get scammed!

(I've hidden my legal name in the doctored receipt below. Another clue that it's fake is that I asked for $28 but for some reason for $27 'transferred')

Unfortunately its not just this blog it's a whole chain of them, very similar circumstances but they asked for email instead of @ and emailed me a scam saying took $200+the amount for the commission out of their account and demanding to have me pay them back. They wont stop at that point too and insist you show them a screenshot of the transaction from your bank hoping to steal details about your bank account, so long as you dont do this last step, even if youve paid them, paypal will return the money to you in a few days because of how sketchy it is (at least this is how it worked for me). Stay safe out there.
